Haven’t used the printer yet because it didn’t come with the usb cord needed for installation. When it said didn’t come with usb I’m thinking standard usb which I have. No this means a special cord that’s needed to plug into the printer and into your computer so that you can download the software before even using your printer. May change my star level later. But I’m thinking I’m being fair as amazon original delivery date was set for yesterday and didn’t come until today. Either way. Will update later on the status of how well it prints. So far I’m not statisfied with amazon performance or customer care support. I feel this far a 2 Star is more then nice . However if the overall printer itself exceeds my expectations then I may update my rating. Look at my photo I attached so you can see the irritating special cord that’s needed. “All I’ve posted was a picture of the hole on the printer” I haven’t made it to Best Buy to get a cord yet.

Nice, VersaCheck ... sell a product for printing checks on blank stock, then stop selling the MICR ink. You used to be a pretty credible company, now youre just dumping inventory. My suggestion to anyone reading this, avoid VersaCheck. They simply stop producing the supplies you need to use the hardware! The printer still works ... I just cant get MICR ink for it anymore. (Purchased a little more than 3 months ago).

DO NOT BUY! Less than a month and the printer says not a genuine HP cartridge. VersaCheck is zero help at all with their product, want to charge to call. Spoke with HP support, they said this is an illegally re-manufactured product and that they are currently pursuing legal action against VersaCheck.

Extremely disappointed, printer was missing installation CD as well as the ink cartridges . Completely useless and unprintable. The printer pictured clearly shows the ink . Very misleading .

At first I was very happy with this printer. But after only 2 months, the black ink just stopped working. I havent printed more than 75 checks (if that)! According to the diagnostics, the black ink is still 1/2 full. At $50.00 per cartridge, I expect better performance than this. I ordered a replacement cartridge, and the printer did not recognize it. There was another $50.00 lost. Dont waste your money.

Horrible printer. I had the previous version. Lasted only 15 months until the printer carriage failed. Rejects about every other cartridge as faulty, which I doubt they are. I would STRONGLY suggest buying several replacement cartridges at one time if you opt to purchase this product so you dont get stuck in a pinch. I am returning this one, it is no better than the last. Junk!

This is my baby, it is little but it is a work horse. Just keep it clean, cartridges full and it handles business. Hasnt jammed since Ive purchased it, works well with Google Chrome and a Chromebook Wish it was bluetooth capable.

You sell a printer HP Desk Jet 1112 and send software for a Desk Jet 1110. Your cartridges dont work right ever since you put the plastic piece on the end instead of the tape you used to just pull off. Why would I use software to set up a 1112 with a disc for a 1110?????

The printer came without power cord and USB cord and printer drivers. Im still trying to get it to work after ordering the cables and trying to download drivers. Very difficult to get it to print.

i printed 3 checks and the black ink just stopped printing... i dont know if it is a faulty cartridge but its a good thing i ordered a back up black or else i wouldnt be able to print!
