I had no issues setting up this printer and I am basically a hapless Luddite. The only thing that stymied me was when the diagram told me to remove a piece of foam and tape inside the printer. Spent 10 minutes trying to find something that was not there. The printer is the quietest printer I have ever heard. You do not place the ink cartridges into the printer until you have charged up the battery, which took about an hour. There are only 2 ink cartridges for this printer. The exterior of one has a pink top and the other has a black top. You place each one next to its corresponding color inside the printer and pull the plastic piece whose color matches the cartridge over top of the cartridge until it snaps onto the two horizontal tabs on the top of the cartridge. You must com0lete either the online setup or the setup with the included disk for the scanner to work. I set up online since my laptop has no CD or DVD slot. The online setup worked well. You just sit back and let it do its thing. I only plan on using this printer when I travel so it will not get constant use. I like its compact size. It is so small it even qualifies for Sprint Airlines "personal item" to carry onboard without charge. UPDATE: I have taken this on 2 trips and TSA never asked to see it or have it turned on when I put it through screening at the airports. The printer works very well. I know I use it more on trips more than it is designed for, about 300 pages printed a week and the same number of pages scanned, (the manual says it is designed for 300 printed pages a month) but it has never jammed or even hiccupped. It is still new but with the heavy usage I think if there was a problem it would have surfaced by now.

First off, I LOVE THIS PRINTER. It came packaged very nicely and the installation took me less than 5 minutes. Inserting the ink cartridges was a bit tricky, but there were help videos you could watch on the little printer screen that help tremendously. This printer is small enough that it can fit in my backpack, which is absolutely amazing. Also, despite its size, printer quality is not sacrificed a single ounce-- the photos I have printed look just as good as photos that I have printed using a bigger, more expensive printer. I have had this printer for about three weeks now and have had zero problems, printer malfunctions, or complaints. It is a great little printer and well worth the money. Just a heads up: if you want to print a multi-page, double-sided document, it will print on one side of all the papers and then ask you to re-insert the paper in order to print the other side. Its a bit confusing the first time or two, but its a non-issue once you get the hang of it.

Im a salesman on the road with constantly being busy printing out invoices for customers, untill I came across this mobile printer, now its much easier while on the go; to print out the invoice straight out of my [VEHICLE - OFFICE] connection is wirless or with a cable that you have to purchase additionally, works on battery, charges up within an hour... this is the best thing ever...

Great little printer! I was surprised, usually these little mobile printers are slow and do not work well. I travel full time in a vintage Greyhound bus and room is of the essence. I work on the road and need a reliable, fast but small printer with scanner. This little baby is well worth the money, it copies,scans and prints in B&W and color and the color is pretty darn good too!

I chose this printer mostly for small space and portability within the house, rather than just for travel. I am very pleased with how it works and the print quality. I dont have any particular need for fast printing or large quantities, so it suits my needs just fine. I have been scanning photos, printing and scanning text pages, tested printing photos, and am perfectly happy with the results. I love that it has a battery so if I need to use it anywhere I dont have to carry the cord around. The battery standby life is fantastic. I couldnt say about its life under heavy use. For the price, if you plan to just leave it in one place, choose a different model. If having a battery, closing up into a completely contained unit, and small size mean a lot to you, then yes, it is worth its cost.

I purchased this printer to take along on our many RV trips. I havent been using it heavily but it prints well, sharp and clear. Very compact and not that hard to set up. I like the fact that I can also print directly from my mobile device without having to use my laptop. This is not a cheap printer but I feel it was worth the premium price. I expect with my fairly light usage, it will last a long time.

The printer sounded ok. First issue is that usb connection doesnt work. Computer says unrecognized device. Got Bluetooth working albeit not all the time. Its finicky. Now just after 90 days from purchase automatic document feeder is picking up several sheets at a time. I bought this to do important business while on an rv trip and regret it. Going back to my Epson scanner. Update. I did get a prompt response from hp support. It gave me a link which essentially had me reload the program. Since I already have tried that several times I was reluctant but did it anyway and it was no help. They also referred me to a link for people who are having an extra page printed. That was no help whatsoever because my document feeder is picking up several pages at once, not just printing an extra blank page. I must say the one bright spot is that I was told I have a one year warranty. Thats my next step. Im hopeful.

I caught this printer on sale for $199 here on Amazon. Now I see that the price has gone up quite a bit since I purchased it. So far I am extremely pleased with this printer. I bought it to use out west in remote locations. This printer does everything except fax. I will say this. The setup wasnt easy. If you got the setup right the first time go buy yourself a lottery ticket. I finally had to call HP for help. It still took HP over a hour to get it working correctly. And that was with HP having control of my computer. Outside of that yes I would buy it again.

This model is much better than the old 150 series. Lighter and no power adapter to carry around. I can get it out for TSA quickly at the airport. No driver glitches either and the scanner can handle several pages at a time. Like it!

I bought this printer for my company Guaranteed Gone Pest & Wildlife Control and absolutely love the wireless ease of printing in seconds from my smart phone, tablet, or lap top to the printer via WiFi connect! It prints sharp b/w and color documents and photos w out any hesitation or lag! Im so happy to be able to print in the field with such a solid and quality product. It has so many uses and can even be used as part of a small office network. Im very happy with my purchase. I had a little issue figuring out the right apps for it, but tech support at HP was free and fantastic as always and they helped me get my phone and printer in sync! Photo shows the protective case I purchased for it as well as the protective packing material on the printer! Ill be removing the protective wrap and foam now as I am using daily for work!
