I spent a lot of time researching printers. I have had HP and currently have a 6+ year old Canon Pixma all in one, in another room connected via wifi. I wanted a faster printer (my old Canon took 2-5 minutes to warm up let alone process). I also needed something compact to fit inside my desk shelf (15” wide or so.) I wanted a front tray since it was going to be hard to access. Unboxing is easy and initially it does look a bit cheap, but I am happy with it overall. It comes with 6 inks, easy to install. I do not know if it will restrict use if one ink is out, I’ll have to find out. This printer is set up to our wifi network (the router is within 5 feet of it) which may help my printer process jobs faster! I tried to follow the paper instructions/cd-rom but it didn’t work so I just chose MANUAL SETUP on the actual printer screen, and just chose our WIFI network and entered our password. Easy and seamless! On each computer I then chose the printer and made it our default. We installed the Canon app on our phones and also did test prints. Very easy to use! You do have to go to the app first to initiate what to print however. Kit includes Printing Tray, 4" x 6" Photo Paper Sample Pack (3 sheets), Power Cord, USB Printer Cable for PC Connection, HeroFiber Ultra Gentle Cleaning Cloths, Getting Started Guide & Setup CD-ROM perfect essential items to get started right away! Just to list some good points ; • Seems fast to me in printing B/W documents! 30 seconds to come on and spit my print job out! Color jobs and photos obviously will take a little more time. • Auto On/OFF, under ECO SETTINGS. I chose mine to go off after 15 minutes. Then, if you send a job while it is powered off, it comes on automatically. We tested how fast it prints and sent a print job to the printer (not powered on) and within 30 seconds it turned on, tray came out, printed and finished! GREAT! • 2 sided printing (not sure if i can use this feature if i only use my front tray) • Printing on cd’s • Quiet Setting (under Eco settings) • Large Touchscreen • Scanning is fast and saves file right to my desktop. Would recommend this printer and update review as I use the various features. Overall it probably took me an hour to unbox, setup, and connect it to our wifi.

The title of this listing, with "set of ink tanks" listed separately, implies that a set of full-size ink tanks is included as a bonus in addition to the dinky "startup" tanks that come with most inkjet printers. That is NOT the case. My box contained only the startup ink, the 3-sheet paper sample, a cleaning cloth and a USB cable. So youre basically paying $30 for a USB cable (that youre not going to use because its a wireless printer). Go find the separate listing for the TS9120 and buy it there.

I got the printer just a few days ago. Besides the fact that is very user unfriendly (it was not easy to install on my Pro Mac) it is very glitchy. It give you errors for every little thing youre trying to print. If you are looking to spend a lot of time on mingling with your printer this is the perfect one for you. After printing 5 DVDs I gave up. Its either not communicating with "My garden software" which you need to install to print any DVD, or not connecting to my computer, etc. Just very aggravating. Every error you get you have to use a smart phone to scan a code to find our whats wrong. We spent a lot of money on Canon cameras and lenses and usually love them. This printer is TERRIBLE! PS. Part are very flimsy.

I was looking for a printer that could meet all my needs. I thought this was the one except I didn’t realize that there isn’t a feeder to make multiple copies at once. This is something I definitely need. I proceeded to return the printer and Hot Electronics was fantastic during the whole return process. I received a full refund and I couldn’t be more impressed with the seller. Printer itself is very high tech and impressive. Super easy to sync with wifi and other devices.

Very easy to setup wirelessly to my PC and smartphone! I had an issue with the black not printing and called Canon tech support and he solved it immediately. Print quality is great! Also, the printer arrived a day earlier than expected!!

Compact machine for small projects/home use. So far printing fine. Have not tried scanning yet. Instructions for wireless not entirely helpful. Had better luck connecting wireless via printer screen v. computer.

Printer works fine but I opted to buy the printer with added package (an extra $30) thinking I was getting additional ink. You are actually paying $30 for about $5 worth of extras, a small cleaning cloth, an USB connection cord which if you are going wireless is not needed, and a few sheets of sample photo paper. They could at least have included the XL ink carts instead of standards for the extra money. DO NOT spend the extra $30 for the extra package, its a rip off, just but the printer by itself. Appears to be a decent printer.
