Easy setup and install. It is a little taller than we expected, but we were able to move a shelf in the book case. Prints great and the scanner function works fine. The unit is noisy when printing.

This printer is what our I.T. department recommends for all of our 11 locations. Theyre perfectly equipped to handle the workload of a small office. Our office prints almost non-stop and the toner lasts for a long time. The older models we had before these ones lasted for 10 years so I estimate that this new model will last longer.

This would be a good printer except for one thing which I consider a dealbreaker. When the printer thinks the toner life is over, it stops printing and you cannot print until you install a new toner. It is not up to you to determine, but up to Big Brother. Of course, this feature is not to provide you with good customer service, but rather to force you to buy their overpriced toners on a more frequent basis. In the future I will make an effort to buy only printers that allow me to determine when I want to change toner. I appreciate a warning, but not shutting off my ability to print. My business depends on a working printer. Don’t get sucked in by cheap price. You will more than pay for it in toner cost and inconvenience of having your printer shut off with little or no warning.

Ive used Brother printers for about 20 years. They have run better and lasted longer than other bands Ive tried. I run a tax business and we have about 8 printers that are running all day, 6 days a week. This one is also our fax machine. I only buy Brother all-in-one multi-function machines at this point. They scan, fax, copy without a problem. Scan in Color, gray scale, or B/W. You can copy from the flat bed or through the auto feed. We print our envelopes and own letterhead. Of course I would buy it again.

Great printer! Easy setup and ready to go in no time. Bought this for my dept at work and is a perfect size to share with about 10 people. Used the online driver setup and have had no problems so far. we are not using the wifi feature at this time so cant comment on that. It prints super fast and easily handles the loads of printing we do. A big selling point was the built in USB port at the front so we can scan docs to a flash drive right from the unit. Good all in one without the bulk of some other models. Recommend!

Not too bad for its features and production. I read specs as if multi-page scanning was for each side. I was wrong. I was surprised of the inconvenience that it didnt have this function. I am an insurance agent with a small office. This definitely slows down my productivity. If you dont need this type of scanning feature, then this is the perfect printer for you.

I like everything about the printer. The only bad thing is that I dont have a better place to set the printer so I have to set it near the computer which I dont like to do but I have no choice. That has nothing to do with the printer, the printer is wonderful. I have the printer set up on a home network and we have 4 computers in the house which we use daily. Any of the computers can use the printer and we like that a lot. It was simple to connect the printer to the network and everything works perfectly. Setup was simple, a child could do it. The menu is pretty simple to use, it is very intuitive and there is a decent manual in case you run into a problem. This machine scans in color which I really like, and if I need to copy a colored page I can can the page and then print the scanned image with my color laser printer. I rarely ever need to print color though, probably 99 percent of the printing I do is just text. I rarely need to send a FAX but now I have that capability. I have not tried to do that yet, but i did play with it a little and it seems to be fairly straight forward. I like the fast speed that it can print, not that I am a business with a lot of fast printing needs, but when I need several pages printed I like to get the job done and this printer prints out pages VERY fast. I would highly recommend this printer to home users or for a small business. It would work OK for a larger business too, assuming you dont need color.
