Sony should probably stick to Amplifiers and Speakers. Ive had both, and have been quite satisfied with both. I took delivery and used, for no more than a week when my Sony UBP-X800 UBP-X80 started having problems. Would power up. When it would, I couldnt open the tray. When the tray would open, I couldnt get it to close. No, its wasnt the Remote Controller. Eventually, it would only power up. I will say, the refund/return process was as good as it can get.

The 4k her part was fine ,everything with it was just fine, except for the DVD player itself, the picture would become fuzzy when paused, quite frequently the picture would go blank for no reason, no sound , no picture no anything. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one is because it actually does support 4k pictures when it works. Otherwise a piece of junk.

Video glitches/locking up over a couple finger prints!, issues with not turning on, manual or by remote, I had to unplug re-plug to get it to work, now its telling me it can"t read the disk that I may need to clean the disk, and Ive tried several disk/movies even after running a video disk cleaner it still wont read!!! And I have the latest firmware update.

What good id it if it locks up and freezes while playing all 4K dvds!!!!
