This was a refurbished machine and it didn’t work out of the carton. I was able to use the WiFi but the machine would not read the DVD disk nor acknowledge it was even in the machine! This is going back. This is the second time I bought a refurbished item from Amazon. The first was a computer that also didn’t work. You’d think I would have learned. :(

Ive hardly used this player but when I attempted to play a DVD this week, nothing is displayed on my TV screen. I dont see the Sony logo, the Blu Ray logo or the screen which shows the apps/website that always displayed previously. I just talked to Sony Customer Service rep Mark. We ran a few tests. He said since nothing is being displayed at all from the 3700, I should try another HDMI cable. I dont currently have a spare one but will give that a try. Im not optimistic and may have to junk this unit. Since I dont think I used it even ten times, Im disappointed about its failure.
