Original review stated: Rated it 4 because I still cant get a full screen display on new movies. Ive tried every setting. Calling the vendor is next. Headset cable is 5ft, useless to me. I bought this item January 10, 2018, writing new review 10/5/2018. Now -- I have contacted the vendor and found I did not have the entire manual on the unit. He quoted things to do on pages I did not have, he sent an update. Tried all didnt work. Sent Questions on Amazon, responses received were everything I already knew to try. I just let it go. Recently I found the display did get bigger but not full screen, I dont know how, New DVDs still will not go full screen while older ones will. Hateful 8, War of the Planet of the Apes will not go full screen, while others will, the display when the DVD is installed states widescreen. But I have recently found when going to CC the arrow goes to CC4 the screen size gets smaller, changing CC to OFF does nothing. My attempts must have hit something right. This is the 3rd SONY I bought, I learned my lesson and will never buy SONY again.
