Bought this DVD player because Netflix and Amazon Prime movie services kept pausing during playback, and I thought buying a newer model DVD player would help solve the situation. It did not. Regardless of using the wired or wireless connections (I tried both), our movies continued to pause during playback. Previously bought a brand new, top-line router, and had internet service provider out to check the download/upload speeds (all were working fabulously). Ended up buying an Amazon Fire TV device which solved the issue entirely, now HD movies stream with never a stutter or pause. Hooray!

This is a garbage unit. Freezes all the time. Forgets the Wi-Fi connection. Wont play Prime movies at all. Went with this unit because we had an old model that worked for years just fine. Still working fine, just wanted to upgrade. Nope. This was a total down grade into the gutter.
