Picture quality: incredible Sound quality: incredible Ease of setup/menu system: incredible In summary: INCREDIBLE I tested this with Planet Earth II (on UHD Blu-Ray) on my LG 4k OLED TV. Absolutely breathtaking.

This is it! If you want a 4K Blue Ray player and have the cash for the best than look no further this is it this is the one. I’m very happy with it it’s rock solid quiet works very well easy to setup. Mine is was connected via XLR and HDMI I’ve watched the YouTube videos on this model and I have to say wow it lives up to the hype! This is my last player I’ve had 8 total and non have lasted.

I am late in writing my review as I have had my player now for some time. I was fortunate enough to buy my player before Oppo announced that they were going out of business and the price of my player went from $1,300 all the way up to $3.000. I have owned may high-end players over the years Linn, Wadia, Ayre, Etc and I must say that even at the $3k price this player will compete with many $5k players out there. I run mine through the Balanced outputs and running a Coffee HDMI cable from AQ. But I also use it as a "stand-alone" player for my CDs and find it quite impressive. As a Blu-Ray player I also find it equally impressive, not only in the soundtrack of movies but the picture quality. Even on the standard Blu-Ray movies that it up converts to 4K the picture is most impressive and I am just running a mid-range Sony LED. I am sure that when I get ready to but a new OLED from Sonly that it will look even that much more impressive. The only thing is I have not done any research in to what is going to happen to the company should I even need warranty work. I have a feeling with the Toroidal Power Supply that it has along the the quality Sabre DACs and the other components that it will not need any work for some time if at all!!

Like all Oppo players, this is another winner. Fantastic build quality and a customer service/tech support group that quickly responds to issues and requests. If you want an Audiophile player, this is the one to beat.

Words fail. I paired this with a LG 65" OLED and the immersion is intense. First disk played was a 4k Gaurdians II. Still havent recovered from the experience. Yes, it is a lot of money, but for my part, money well spent. I will derive many hours for entertainment from the investment.
