This Blu Ray player came region free and ready to play straight out of the box. The remote is of great quality and nice and tight too, plus the player HDMI signal is outstanding! It came with great instructions for switching regions and hook up, and the price was well worth it for the quality of the player. I used it pretty heavily before I posted this review to make sure it could play older and newer films from my collection and Im beyond satisfied with the results.

Good disk player. Simple to use and takes up little space (sits on the cable box). Allows my British wife to view, and purchase, disks from the UK. Works fine and no problems -- so far.

Player meets our expectations. Probably exceeds them as we do not use all the widgets it offers. We wanted blu-ray capability and the ability to play European DVDs which it does very well. We have a Samsung TV which may or may not make it more user friendly.

Setup was so easy I couldnt believe it. From the time I took it out of the box, it took longer to unwrap the cable, batteries, and remote than it did to be ready to watch a DVD! Everything is done with minimal input from the user. It accepted without fuss both a region 2 disc and a manufactured-on-demand one, and did so automatically. Nothing could be simpler. Custom settings were a breeze to set, and I couldnt be happier with it.

You have to do everything with the remote. So big deal. Loaded apps are great, set up was fast and easy. The movies play well. I have lots of movies that I ave burned on drd-r and have no issues.

This player has played every British DVD perfectly that I have in my collection. It is way better than using a PC. The only problem I have is the audio output is not standard RCA analog, but is standard digital electrical and I need to get an adapter as my receiver/amplifier predates digital.

In the beginning I couldnt manage this item and I thought that doesnt work properly. but when I red the manual im learnt to manage this device. its really multi region player
