Although its billed as an all-region player, Ive only had the opportunity to play the Region 2 DVDs that I own; I cant comment on discs from other regions. There were no problems in setup (basically, its a quick plug-and-play) and it performed well. I have no complaints regarding picture or sound quality. My only complaint - which is why I downgraded an otherwise 5-star rating to 4-stars - is that it has no red light or comparable indicator that the unit is powered on or off. You can only be sure by turning on the TV, where the status of the units operations is displayed. I suppose its a minor complaint that most people probably dont care about, but its irritating to me. If this issue doesnt concern you, then youll probably be very pleased with the performance of this product. I consider this product a good value.

I dont like the fact that this DVD player can cause all types of electrical interference Lots of static whenever it is plugged in with other products, such as your TV. I have to unplug after each use. There are no lights on the front of the player at all. I would like to see, open, close, some sort of info or digital readout, but there is none. Also, you must have internet to upgrade any of the software. It does have Netflix on its menu which is useful. Picture , sound, all excellent. Very easy to set up too.

Works well and is great for viewing all region Dvds. Buying it greatly improved our collection of hard to find movies and music based Dvds.

good player if you dont mind your back-up discs not always playing due to the DMR-protection which comes built in. also wish this thing had a power-light in the front....otherwise a good reliable player.
