If you already have a smart tv or just need a cheap "dumb" 4k player, this is perfect for you. I tested it out on both 4k and bluray and works great. As an FYI, the remote is small and keys arent backlit. So, theres a greater chance of misplacing it. Keep the remote in an open location when not in use and you should be fine.

I read the reviews before buying and if all youre looking for is a quality 4K HD blue ray player for your videos---not doing anything via the internet), this is the best value! We purchased the Jurassic Park Video 4 PK, not realizing it was 4K Ultra HD Blue Ray. It would not play on our old blue ray player. So we purchased this one. VERY user friendly, amazing picture quality---at a great price. I highly recommend this product!
In the age of smart tvs i was INTENTIONALLY looking for a unit without streaming capabilitys. It plays 4k blurrays and the menus look modern and wouldnt look out of place in a high end av setup. It has one hdmi that handles all video and multi channel audio. My only complaint is that the remote is VERY SMALL, it is about 3/4 of the size as a north American outlet wall plate. But it gets the job done. I should also mention it can stream video from a local media server like a plex server, although this can only be done thru a wired connection.
This product is just what I was looking for. No smart functions at all, just a small compact 4K UHD Blu Ray DVD Player. This unit plays back excellent quality video and I cant complain about anything,
This does what it says, plays 4k BluRay movies, it does not have any apps or WiFi, My smart tv has all of that in it already This also does a great job at upconverting you u 1080P movies as well. If you just need a player that just plays 4K movies and dvds/Blurays then this is the player for you. I will buying another one of these in the future to put on another 4k TV.
The listing is somewhat misleading because nowhere does it state that this is a refurbished product. Until you purchase it and see that the listed seller is Factory Refurbished. Loads quickly, good picture quality and if all you need is a bare-bones 4K HD blu ray player without streaming or wi-fi enabled this one is hard to beat for the money. the remote as most have stated in prior reviews is ridiculously tiny and if youve got kids you may want to tie it to a stick or something so it doesnt disappear.
Loads fine. Probably not the fastest but at least as good as any regular DVD. No frills but the TV already has all those options. Works great as a bare bones 4K player. And at half the price or less. Its awesome! Ive had other RCA/Magnavox products that I have been very dissapointed in. This one real steps it up!
Great product for the money. Great player for the money. A simple player that has a great 4k picture and great sound. Does not have all the add-ons apps that the over priced smart players have, but who needs them when most 4k t.v. already have them.
This Blue Ray player is excellent for what I needed. And the price is perfect. I just wanted to pay both 4k and regular DVDs on my 61 inch Samsung and it does it perfectly. Also has audio output that go to my surround sound system.
I went out and started buying 4k movies love this 4k dvd player it may be cheap but it works as good as the ones for 400+ dallors
