Gees, can they make these things any smaller?? This is the third LG BluRay player that I own. They work well with LG TVs, automatically linking the two when you turn on the player. The player is wireless. Period. Its the only option for hooking up to the internet. My home has a wireless router and it was the way I planned on using the internet functions. Hooking up to the home network was relatively straight forward. You have to use an on-screen keypad but it works fine. Installing the player was easy, plug it in using an HDMI cable (sold separately) and supply power and youre done. I guess the size limits the unit to the one HDMI port, no other option for connection to a TV. Now for the reasons it only gets 3 stars. 1) there is this miniscule light on the front to tell you that the unit is on and if it isnt aimed right at you it cant be seen. 2) The software. Most of the time we use the unit to stream Netflix content and the selection software is a lot different then whats on the other two players I have. I dont know if the software is supplied by Netflix or LG but it isnt as good as the older software. Instead of the opening screen containing the instant queue it opens up with a list of whats most popular on Netflix, then New on Netflix, etc. The graphics are better, but I would prefer an easier way to get to my queue. Not user friendly.

This player works even better than I expected. The instructions that came with it indicate that you have to manually switch zones before playback, but when I tried it with European Blu-rays and DVDs, it simply played them. It boots up really fast, and it has a small footprint. I couldnt be happier.

This is the second unit I have received from Amazon that failed to work after a short time. Amazon replaced at no charge the first unit after it failed to power on after about six or seven times. The replacement unit also failed in the same manner. Astute consumers of electronics will know that LG is the new name for General Electric. Back in the mid 70s I swore I would never again buy a GE product. I decided to try this BluRay by LG because the customer reviews were good. Should have kept my vow. I decided to by-pass Amazon on the 2nd unit and send it back to LG. Caveat emptor.

Paid extra for shipping an was a day late than expected . The remote for this product also doesnt work and we are using our old LG remote for it . Would of had to send it back if we hadnt of had that . For the money I expect better .

Came quickly, great product, exactly as described. I had duplicated the order by mistake and realized it before shipped. Sent an email to vendor and worried wouldnt be read in time. I received a reply within 30 minutes and they had it corrected and taken care of promptly. Very impressed.

Not only does it flawlessly play both region 1 and 2 DVDs as well as A and B Blu rays, but it also plays Netflix and movies from my home network drive. So far, I have found no glitches. Its small too, which is a plus. Just an HDMI going out and the network connection is via WIFI. This replaces our need for a lot of devices. No need for a Chromecast or other such HDMI dongle...

Needed to replace an old DVR player so I ordered this LG blu-ray. Arrived quickly. Easy to hook up. Has Netflix and wifi. I also bought one for a gift for my sister. I purchased a double pack of HDMI cords for easy install. Just plug in and set up wifi and start watching your favorite dvds and Blu-Ray discs.

I purchased this Blu-ray player in January.. Where it sat completely boxed up, in original wrapping until today (July 20). I opened the box, hooked up the HDMI Cable (that I had to purchase separately), plugged it in and the blu-ray player wont even turn on. I tried it on several different outlets and several different TVs – Nothing. Very disappointing!

So, it gets the job done but is slow to respond. Supports Netflix, but the apps do not support Amazon Video at least that I can see. I should have gotten another Sony as that one works perfect and has everything I need.
