If I had more stars to give I would. Ive always bought expensive $300-$500 laser printers. This printer is amazing. My other printers used to take a long time to warm up. This is instant print even when in sleep mode. The quality is amazing. I love the AirPrint feature, our iPhones and iPads instantly finds it and we can print. Once the computer is on the network you can manage all settings using a web browser rather than dilly dallying with the console on the printer itself. I love the "Scan to Email" feature. just sends me a PDF with my scanned document. This feature does require that you know something about mail server settings. We just looked up the Gmail server settings and its logging in to the mail server using our Gmail account. I paid three times as much for three times less in the past. This deal is hard to beat. We paid $149 on Amazon Prime (free two day shipping).

I read so many reviews of how this printer wouldnt connect to home networks, or was difficult to setup. I actually put off starting the install until I had enough time to fix any issues that came up. From unpacking to printing took about 20 minutes. The instructions were helpful, but it was simple...do NOT plug in the USB cable. Simply power on the printer, go to the settings for WiFi, select the option for WPS (although not labeled WPS in the settings menu, something like PCM..cant remember exactly), then go to your router and push the WPS button...they will connect to each other and the router will assign an ip address to the printer. I suggest that you go into your router settings and make the IP static. Then you simply go to any wireless PC that is connected to your same home network and add the printer. For Android devices, go to the google play store and install the xerox plugin app. This will allow any android device to print to the printer; Apple has the same app. Print quality is great, scanning from the PC is simple and fast, however I have not tried to scan to/from any android device.

This is a sophisticated, enterprise-grade AIO in a home office package. In addition to the usual functions (print, scan, fax) it has high-end features such as scan-to-Email and SNMP management. I have it running in a mixed environment (Macs, PCs with Windows 7 and 10) and it works flawlessly. Setup is easy with the web interface, just plug it in with a network cable and find the assigned IP address. As with all printers, I recommend setting either a static IP address or a DHCP reservation. As pointed out by a previous reviewer, the most annoying thing with this printer is the status page that prints automatically every time the printer is plugged in. This is easy to fix (again, see previous review); go to Properties->System->Setup and uncheck "Print status report at startup" at the bottom. (Default user name is admin, default password is 1111). You should also update the firmware (obtained from the Xerox website and updated via the web interface). I have not experienced the errors printing under Windows 7 mentioned by other reviewers. Ive had no problems whatsoever. Even prints from our iPhones using AirPrint. Again, get the latest drivers from the Xerox website -- the included CD is 4 years old. This printer originally sold for $300+. Its a deal at $200 and a steal at $100.

I dont know how anyone could reasonably ask for more from a multi-function at this price point. Its more than fast enough for the type of work its being purchased for It comes with a full capacity toner cartridge rather than one of those 20 sheet samplers Setup is simple, and it has a reasonably comprehensive admin web server built in It handles AirPrint and Google Cloud Print effortlessly Print quality is excellent, as it is for just about any laser printer you can buy Scan to cloud, scan to networked PC, copy - its got the lot!

Great printer for the price. The driver that came with it loaded OK on old-old xp and xp-sp1. I downloaded the WIN 10 driver and it worked fine. I downloaded the "Linux" driver and it is a real challenge to install if you are not familiar with "Linux Terminal". Not all the features are usable in Linux. I am using it hard wired with USB. The fax from glass acts strange and goes to fax each time the phone rings and its hard to clear. The house lights also flicker when it wakes up and when it prints. The printer gets a 5 and the IB gets a 2. Although I did order a second one.

My consumables report shows 100% full. Competitors ship with a nearly empty cartridge. I bought the Xerox because it accepts half price clone cartridges. I may buy one of their OEM cartridges as a thank you for the full one it came with. Plus it has the funny European spelling of centre. So Spectre. This review was compelled by the packaging. It is high end stereo stuff, with soft foam corners (not the crumbly messy compressed popcorn stuff) and inserts. The tape ends holding the doors closed were folded inside to make tabs that were easy to grip and remove. My impression was if they put as much thought into the product as they put into the packaging this baby will run. The duplexing is software driven - it does not have an internal tray to flip the paper. It prints pages 2, 4, 6, etc., then a message pops up instructing you to put those pages back in the paper tray face and top up, and press the control panel button to print pages 1, 3, 5, etc. Rotating the pages top to bottom is counter intuitive with the paper path. The quick start guide has a graphic of the orientation that is not clear. The lazy me was expecting an internal flip and rotate. Not gonna happen at this price point. Installation instructions are straight forward on a large fold out sheet. Pulling the tape out of the toner releases some toner dust. Don’t do that over the good rug. It did not come with a cat5e cable, but did come with power, phone, and USB cables. The installation disk handled the cat5e network connection. The fax is enabled by default. My first tele/scam/spam call of the day got a fax tone. Awesome. It possible to set the fax to manual, but not the spam calls. Install software on each computer on the homegroup in order to use the drivers and the software suite on that computer. Scan worked, and of course printing did too. Filled in the on-line warranty, then product registration asked for the exact same information, including the serial number. Probably some regulation that prohibits using warranty information to populate product registration. Who knows. This anachronism is only noticeable because tech has gotten so smart. This is a lot of 4 in 1 multifunction laser printer for the money. The full cartridge and ability to use clone cartridges seal the deal.

I bought this WorkCentre to replace a 6-year-old multi-function machine that had been run into the ground. Ive come to trust Xerox, having also purchased a color laser printer from this company a year ago. It is functioning flawlessly, and on its second set of toner cartridges, due to moderate usage. Im confident this WorkCentre product will perform equally well. Having used it now for a week, I am completely satisfied with its performance and features, and would not hesitate to recommend it to other users.

We have had this WorkCentre for about 1 month and I love it. I wish I had replaced my bulky copier sooner. It is not a bulky unit, it is quiet, prints quick and I can even print from my phone using the App. This is used in an office atmosphere but I do use it to make copies for the public. I also use it to print various labels and have not had any issues
