Printer works great, but is a little noisy, though not too bad. Black print is clean, collor prints look good, though not what I would consider professional photo quality. I love the automatic 2 sided printing, and the 2 sided scanning and faxing if using the document feeder. From past experience with this type print head I strongly recommenced sticking with the HP ink, especially if it sets 2 or 3 days without being used. Not as fast as a laser, but faster than most inkjets and good print. Ink use seems pretty economical in normal mode. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the noise, though it is not excessive, just more than I like. Edited 6 January 2018: I have bought HP computers and printers for many years due to their quality and support, However, I wanted to buy a spare paper tray for this unit so when I wanted to use a different type or size paper I could just switch trays rather than having to empty the one in it and refill it. HP support for obtaining this part number or buying the tray has been totally useless. They have discontinued telephone support and only have on line support, and it either has broken links or does not cover what is needed. I will probably start looking at other companies for future purchases.
