This printer is an example of what happens when a good company tries to deliver a printer at the lowest price point possible. The build quality is poor and the performance is barely marginal. I should have been suspicious just because of the price, but I have bought HP all my life and expected high quality even if the price was a bit on the low side. The printer it replaced was built better but this one offered better performance. HP says this printer prints "up to 23 pages per minute". Its more like 23 seconds per page. At $60 for a laser cartridge that produces about 1500 pages, this is also one expensive printer to operate as well. In addition this toner does not come with a drum, so you must pay another $60 for that every 12,000 pages. Do your homework. This printer works, but your overall cost may be much higher in the long run.
