9/24/2018 My husband received, from Amazon, a Samsung LC27JG50QQNZA Series Curved 27” Gaming Monitor Dark Blue Gray. 11/2/2018 The Monitor Failed, line of dead pixels ran down the vertical center of the monitor. After some initial troubleshooting by my husband, case was entered to Samsung. 11/12/2018 Samsung confirms defective monitor was received. 11/12/2018 to 11/28/2018 Husband calls Samsung 6 to 10 times to follow up about Monitor Status. Each time he is told someone from Samsung will call him within 24-48 hrs from the time of his call… Never once did we receive a communication from Samsung. 11/28/2018 I take over calling Samsung. Was told our monitor was not able to be repaired and our case was “submitted” to the exchange department. At this point it was communicated to me the following process would take effect: • Submission>Approval would take 3 to 5 business days • Approval>Release Status would take 5 to 10 business days • Once we hit the Release stage someone would contact me about my monitor options. I would agree to one and they would send me that replacement. • Assuming shipping takes 5 worst case I receive my monitor December 26th. 11/29/2018 I call Samsung 3 times. No advancement on my case. 11/30/2018 I call Samsung 2 times. My case is approved. I request and receive an email stating my case approval. 12/05/2018 I call Samsung. No advancement on my case. 12/06/2018 I call Samsung. No advancement on my case. 12/07/2018 My case has been progressed to “released status”, but not until after arguing for several minutes as to the current “approved” status on my case. After progression to the “released status”, I again request and receive an email of current status. 12/11/2018 I call Samsung 3 times. No advancement on my case. 12/12/2018 I call Samsung. No advancement on my case. I communicate my frustrations. I am now told the replacement process takes 11 days from the time of approval. I state I am on business day 11… I am then told to call back the next day and request the Case Management Department their business hours are from 9am to 6pm EST. 12/13/2018 I call Samsung at 4:40pm CST/5:40pm EST and request the Case Management Department. I was put on hold for 24 min 33 sec. Once the person helping my case came back on the line they informed me the Case Management Department was now closed and to try back the next day. I call again and communicate my frustrations later that day. 12/14/2018 • I called at 1:30pm CST/2:30 EST. Asked to talk to the Case Management Department. Put on hold for 1 hr 29 min and was then hung up on. • I called at 2:05 on my husband’s phone. After 11 min of waiting for the case management department, I am hung up on. • I called again at 2:17 on my husband’s phone. After 26 min of waiting for the case management department, I am hung up on. • I called again at 2:43 on my husband’s phone. After 13 min of waiting for the case management department, an automated message said due to high call volume instead of waiting I could opt to be called back when my position in the queue was reached. We opted for the call back. My husband received a call pushed the appropriate buttons to activate the call. Instead of being put in contact with the representative he was hung up on. • I called at 5:48pm CST. Asked to talk to the Case Management Department, I explain how I attempted to call during the normal operation hours and what happened. At this time, I am told the department actually does not close till 9pm and I will be transferred to the Case Management. Put on hold and hung up on. • I called again at 5:53pm CST. I told the representative I wanted to be put in contact with the case management department and was promptly told the department was closed. I communicated to them I was told not 5 min before that the department was actually open until 9. They put me on hold and after 23 min I am again hung up on. • I called again at 6:16pm CST. Again, I told the representative I wanted to be put in contact with the case management department and was promptly told the department was closed. I communicated to them from previous phone call I was informed that the department was actually open until 9. Finally, I get in contact with the case management representative. o I am told My Case was APPROVED on the 7th. I communicate I have documentation that states otherwise that my case was “released on the 7th”. Not only is there no resolution to the false account information, but I have been lied to. o I am told that on the 12th notes on my case states that there was a system malfunction and they do not have line of sight to warehouse inventory. Without this knowledge they cannot present to me the replacement options. When my case was “released” on the 7th why was my husband not contacted then???? Was their system broken for 7 days. Impossible a major corporation would have that resolved immediately o I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on. • I called back an additional time and gave up after 15 min. NO RESOLUTION YET…. Moral of the story… Samsung has the worst costumer service. I personally will rethink purchasing a Samsung product. You should be informed that in the unfortunate circumstances you may have a Samsung product fail on you, this process is you have to look forward to.

One of the cheapest 32" gaming monitors, mainly because it lacks freesync and g-sync, upgraded from a samsung 27" 1080p curved monitor, at first its amazing how the 32" looks against the 27", really nice colors and great resolution! BUT with a Dead Pixel on the top right corner, order a replacement, again! arrived with a dead pixel, now in the left bottom corner, waiting for the next replacement, lets see if the Third times a Charm, Ive read a lot about samsung monitors and saw that samsungs Quality Control isnt that good, that its like a lottery, I liked the monitor, but if Im paying 400 dlls I expect to receive a good unit, (By the way, hate it that right now it has 10% discount). Ill update this when I get the new one. Updated October 24/2018 New replacement arrived in different box, the first 2 came in a black and white box with big letters displaying "GAMING MONITOR", new one got here in a color box, maybe an old version when it wasnt still considered a "Gaming Monitor" cause it say so, or maybe its a new one and now it isnt considered a "Gaming Monitor". This one has an older manufactured date: July 2018, while the first ones were August 2018. Got all hyped when it got here in a different box, opened it, tested it and......... 2 Dead Pixels!!! Yeah 1 more than the previous ones, and the bottom left corner of the display seems bent. Looks like Samsung Quality Control its non existent. Im returning both replacements, and think for a while if ill keep the first one, which has the dead pixel on top right corner (hard to see) but has better colors, Im tired of unpacking, packing monitors, so I dont know If I want to play the monitor lottery one more time, with this or other brand. Took one star from the review since its unbelievable that 3 monitors have the same issue.

i just got my 27 inch monitor and works perfect hopefully it lasts and i thought that i needed a display port cable but after reading it turns out that i dont need one. i am using a 1050ti video card and make sure to change your settings in the nvidia control panel. i read the manual and it can do 144hz threw HDMI but i am using the nice HDMI cable that came with it. in order to get the advertised 2560x1440 144hz you need to connect the HDMI cable on your monitor to HDMI2 port. the HDMI1 only does 2560x1440 60hz hopefully this helps someone i will update this if something changes

I bought the MSI Optix AG32CQ recently and it was a nice monitor but it had a stuck pixel right in the center section of the screen. I would see it all the time when dark images showed up. I thought I could live with it but I just couldnt do it. I ended up buying this monitor (the real model number is Samsung C32JG50) before returning the other and this one was perfect. It is 2560x1440 with 144hz and best of all no stuck pixels. Do note that this monitor does NOT come with display port cable so you will need to pick one up (it does come with a quality HDMI cable though). The stand is NOT adjustable at all (no tilt or height adjustment) but does support VESA so it shouldnt be a deal breaker for anyone. I feel that this monitors OSD menu is better than the Optix AG32QC as it has better all-around adjustment capabilities (brightness, colors, gamma, etc). I like the one button control on this one more than the AG32QCs multi-buttons but thats just me. Im a gamer and I was using a 27 1080p monitor previously. I wanted an upgrade to 1440 and 32" and this monitor fits the bill perfectly without breaking the bank.

**DISCLAIMER** I am writing this review as a gamer. Professional artists and/or content creators looking for a good 1440p 144 Hz Samsung panel should skip this monitor, because the Samsung CHG70 uses Quantum Dot (AKA QLED) instead of the LCD panel on this monitor. This means that the blacks are blacker, the whites are brighter, and the colors are much more accurate. Straight out of the box. The monitor here, on the other hand, requires some tinkering before getting colors what would even be considered "acceptable" to you guys. And even then, its not QLED and has relatively low contrast ratio. So just spend the extra cash and get the Samsung CHG70 instead of this one, you wont regret it. **BAD THINGS ABOUT THE MONITOR** Let me get the bad things out of the way first. This is a midrange LCD panel, so the colors arent that great out of the box. Theyre awesome once you calibrate the monitor, but theyre still not perfect. Also, LCDs require backlights. This particular backlight bleeds a little bit (see the third picture). The blacks arent perfect, but believe it or not theyre actually pretty good for an LCD. The backlight bleed is only noticeable when the screen is totally black. Otherwise, it disappears. So I guess its not that bad. Im just nitpicky. Oh yeah, viewing angles arent perfect either (see the second picture and compare to the first one, theres a difference). Colors shift slightly to a lighter hue. Things surrounded by white get blown out. Its not as bad as other VA panels, but you definitely tell its a VA panel and not an IPS panel (which doesnt have that effect). So uh, make sure to look at the monitor dead-on. Oh, and the stand sucks. The stock stand that comes with the monitor? It sucks. No swivel, no height adjustment, no tilt, nothing. Its solidly built, but its totally void of any other useful features besides holding the monitor up. The monitor is VESA-compatible, though, so its not all bad. Since the way my desk is ergonomically set up, I look at the monitor dead center naturally anyway, so the stand isnt too bad for me. But for literally everyone else, get a VESA mount. Dont let this all scare you though, Im just very nitpicky. **GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE MONITOR** Okay, now for the good. Theres so much to praise about this monitor, way more than there is to criticize. Let me get this out of the way right now: the monitor, for the $320 I paid for it, is absolutely worth it for what I do, which is high-end gaming. Playing games at 1440p and being able to see 144 Hz is just...its a godsend. The curved panel makes things so much more immersive, too. The colors of this panel blew me away for the price (but only after calibrating them; look at how beautiful that desktop background looks on the monitor in the pictures), and the contrast ratio is pretty damn good too. Not nearly as bad as many other VA panels. The slight shift in color when looking off axis is not nearly as bad as other VA panels, either. All in all, Samsung did an excellent job here with the panel. I just wish the default settings that came with the monitor out of the box were better. I was able to overclock this particular monitor to 150 Hz as well, which isnt exactly any palpable change, but it is a nice even number and its good to know you can overclock the monitor. Oh, and the little navigation nub thing on the bottom of the monitor? Pretty dang user friendly and easy to use. The build quality is probably one of the least important parts of a monitor, but Samsung did a pretty decent job on that too. The exterior of this monitor is mostly hardened plastic. Like, really hardened plastic. As in not "cheap" plastic. And the bezels on this monitor are pretty small for its size. Its just a really good monitor all around for the price. Its not perfect, but it definitely ticks most of the boxes that people care about. **OVERALL** If youre a gamer, buy this monitor. Dont even think twice. This monitor will do literally everything you need it to do as long as you change the stand. If youre a professional artist/content creator, get the higher-end Samsung CHG70 instead of this monitor. It has better everything, really. But for gamers, the monitor here is absolutely all you need. Its not the best of the best by any means, but its pretty damn close. And for that $300 price tag, you cant really complain when it nearly goes toe-to-toe with other monitors that cost upward of $600. Samsung has always been good with displays, and this one is absolutely no different.

The design of this monitor looks awesome. I had two issues with this monitor. 1. Speakers didnt work. My laptop recognized the monitor in the audio settings but I couldnt get a sound to come out of the speakers. 2. I thought the resolution would be awesome. It was the worst part of the monitor. The resolution is listed as a 2k display. Which it is. But its not anywhere near the quality you expect from a computer monitor. My TV gives me better sharpness. This made me realize that samsung probably went cheap and used a TV panel in this monitor. Its a shame. I see it as not worth a penny. All my text and icons were not sharp at all.

If youre looking for a high refresh rate and high resolution monitor, look no further. It is somewhat subjective, but I have experience with both IPS and TN alternatives, personally I think VA strikes a very solid middle ground. The picture is crisp and the colors are accurate.

Got the 32" 9/24/18. Set it up and windows recognized it right away (win 10 pro). I have an Nvidia9 80ti card so I hook up through Display port . Surfed for a while, Facedbooked for a while , and played games (RPGs) for a few hours. Everything where I expected it to be spec wise, and the price was fantastic. I will say that the curve took a while to get used to but using the monitor today I dont even notice it. I use my own surround speakers so have not tested. I upgrade from a 27" TN Asus monitor. Ill update the review in a few weeks if things change.

Install Flash Player Awesome bang for your buck! This is a 31.5" curved 1440P VA panel Gaming monitor. It also has a 144Hz refresh rate on it. All of these factor in to this being a superb monitor for gaming. The 1440p resolution means it has double the pixels of 1080p monitors which are the most common monitors out there. This means that at 1440p everything looks much sharper and in more detail. Being that this is a 31.5" montor the added pixels make sure everything remains sharp at this size. The curve adds an immersion level to the monitor, makes you feel like it is surrounding your eyes, it really adds to the greatness of the game you are playing. Right away I could feel the picture wrapping around my vision pulling me into what I was seeing more than a flat monitor could do. The 144Hz means that this monitor can keep up with games when your computer produces high frame rates, you get no delay and can see things move more fluidly due to this. The old standard was only 60Hz for monitors, this 144 is far superior and you can feel it too. 31.5" fit perfectly on my desk right into the opening it had for the monitor to recess into. I really feel this is the new best size for gaming, it blows the old 27" model we had in its place before it away. The panel on this is VA and it is producing outstanding colors, very deep blacks as well, so its the best of both worlds when it comes to color and blacks on this model. The viewing angle is also good, we had people looking at us play on this monitor form the side and they did not have any problem seeing the action without losing colors. The other panel types such as TN or IPS have some flaws you dont get on this VA. There is no glow in the corners hwo IP models have and the colors and angles are far superior to TN models on this VA panel. The stand does not have any height or other adjustments, but I dont need that on this monitor as its size leaves it in the perfect spot, no reason to move it. IT also lacks freesync/G-sync but I did not feel I was missing it either when gaming everything looked great. I also watched some videos on it and boy are they amazing to watch at this size and with the 1440p resolution, it feels like a small theatre at your desk. I am really impressed with this model, it seems to be towards the very top at its price range with all the features packed into it along with the quality of each feature that I tested on it. I fully recommend this one for any gamer out there. Also, check out my Video unboxing review of this awesome monitor!

I bought this as a replacement to the MSI MPG27CQ. I was a little worried as it is quite a bit cheaper than the competition as far as curved VA panels go and didnt include freesync. So far so good though! Picture right out of the box is pretty washed out, took a little tinkering to get it to pop, but it looks great. I started with RTS mode and adjusted from there as I thought that looked the best of the options available to me (outside of custom). I havent noticed any stuck/dead pixels or any weird smudges (yet) which is a good sign. I was unable to find any information regarding sRGB, but can confirm its an 8-bit panel. The stand is cheap compared to others Ive had, but I assume thats what you get for a lower priced monitor. It isnt adjustable in height or horizontally and its pure plastic. It is sturdy enough I dont have any wobble when Im typing or playing a video game. My stand does have a slightly downward tilt to it though, which is bothersome because its at just the right height to match my eyes. Ill probably have to replace the stand with a third party stand in the future.
