This monitor has performed admirably for me thus far. 1440p, 155Hz, wonderful response time. Color reproduction is admirable compared to my old BenQ XL2411 (also a TN display) and the new driver update from Nvidia makes this display G-Sync compatible as well. Which it works well with, after many hours of testing.

Edit: An update, I liked my first monitor so much that I just bought another one. I cant believe how bad my old monitor, the Acer XG270HU, was compared to this one. These are the best monitors Ive used in terms of eye strain and usability while still producing pleasing colors. The high resolution, high refresh rate, and semi-gloss coating along with TN like symptoms that are on the minimum (and I personally dont notice after adjusting it), mixed with a great price make this impossible to beat. Semi gloss is very pleasing to look at. I am happier with this monitor than monitors costing over twice as much. Its perfect for me, personally, and my own use cases, hopefully my review helps someone get a great experience from theirs too. That all being said, Im seriously considering purchasing two more for my work office space. I think theyre that good! About me: I use this product for gaming and for work. I am a software developer. Long story short, with some tweaks (my settings are at the bottom), this monitor looks fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality monitor for gaming or work. When I hooked this monitor up, I was initially disappointed. Colors looked just as washed out, if not more-so, than my current TN monitor (Acer XG270HU). Id read a lot of reviews praising this monitor but was let down by the out-of-box settings. However, after spending some time tweaking the monitor, Ive gotten the colors to "pop" and am completely happy with it. I now see what people mean when they compare the colors on this thing to an IPS. They are very good and honestly do compare to the IPS monitors Ive used. It seems the biggest problem of this display is gamma that is set too high by default, and color saturation settings needing to be increased. I would have greatly appreciated the option to adjust gamma on the OSD of the monitor itself, but sadly that cant be done. Text on this monitor is crystal clear. The anti-glare coating used is better than others in that regard. Seriously, text looks very very good on this thing. For reference, I run windows DPI scaling at 125% because I dont t enjoy squinting. This is my favorite aspect of this monitor. I can look at this thing all day and not be annoyed. Color uniformity is great - After trying numerous IPS and VA panels, this was my biggest gripe with them, particularly the curved VA panels and all IPS panels I tried. I just cant stand this. When I moved my head from one side of the monitor to the other, google search pages went from light pink to light green from right to left. Or Id see color temperature hot spots that just looked terrible. The gamma shift thats present in TN monitors does not bother me though, because its consistent. Its worth noting the gamma shift on this monitor is great for a TN. Its noticeable but minor. I can and will live with it. I love the physical design of this thing. Dell knocked it out of the park by NOT adding useless RGB lighting or obnoxious "gamer" flare and sticking with a clean and sharp design. It looks straight up classy and should fit in with any desk environment including professional settings. The ergonomic adjustments are classic Dell and work well. It simply feels like a quality product. The USB hub is awesome as I drive this from a laptop and only have to worry about one USB cable to plug into the computer. My peripherals stay plugged into the monitor. With the above being said, gaming is great on this thing. 155hz is appreciated over 144hz, and freesync works fine with my GTX 1070. No Issues here, loving it. To conclude, after being disappointed with the VA and IPS high refresh panels on the market, mainly due to uniformity issues that bothered me constantly, Im very happy to have found a TN monitor without those issues. The viewing angles arent as good as an IPS, but theyre good enough for me. I dont do gymnastics at my desk. I see no need to "upgrade" to another panel type because the colors are just that good on this one. 155hz + excellent colors + a clean and professional design + minor (and expected) gamma shift are a winning recipe. Ill be picking up another shortly. Settings I use for this monitor (settings not mentioned are not changed from default): --changed through monitor OSD-- Edit: Updating this based on more recent settings Ive found I like better. Brightness: my settings range from 40 to 60 percent depending on ambient lighting. This thing gets SERIOUSLY bright. Contrast: 75 Overclocked to 155hz Freesync on (works great with Nvidia cards) Preset mode: Custom Color Gain: R 97, G 92, B 96 Saturation: R 63, G 63, B 63, C 63, M 63, Y 63 --changed through Nvidia control panel-- Gamma: .82

I needed a display that gave me high refresh rates across both display port and HDMI which isnt easy to find at a reasonable price. This will give you 144hz across both. There is a second HDMI port that gives you 60hz which is fine if your not gaming but this thing was built to game and this is where it shines. Its smooth as silk. Now the big elephant in the room is the fact that its a TN panel. I usually hate these for the dull, washed out look they generally have. However, reviews around the internet insisted this panel looked almost as good as an IPS panel while others stated they could not tell the difference between this TN display and an IPS one when placed side by side. I was highly skeptical but ordered it anyway figuring I will just return it after a few days as I just would be sick of the washed out TN picture. Well, imagine my surprise when I turned it on and saw a vibrant picture with not so bad viewing angles! In fact, the viewing angles are pretty darn good! To my eye, there is a ever so slight fade to color when held up to an IPS panel. But its so minor that that a cheaply made IPS panel would still come in second to this one and even a well made one still wouldnt stand out enough for me to turn this one down. While I dont doubt that some cant see the difference between this and an IPS dispaly, I could, but just barely. Overall, the difference was negligible and Im very happy with this display. I dont know how they got such great picture quality and color from creaky TN technology, but Dell did it here and I give a big tip of my cap to them. Just amazing.

EDIT: Bought 3 of these for triple monitor gaming. They were on sale at $299 recently at both Best Buy and Amazon. They work great for that as the bezels are small. Colors look the same at the small angle I have them on. And now NVIDIA cards work great on it now that its G-sync Compatible. Now I dont feel bad thinking I missed out by not going for G-sync model. Note: This monitor only comes with an HDMI cable. It has a HDMI 2.0 port. Make sure to plug it into that one and not the HDMI 1.4 in order to get the 144hz. It has a sticker in the back pointing to the right port. Bought this as a gaming monitor and love it. I have it beside a Dell U3011 IPS monitor and you can tell the colors arent as great, but theyre good enough. Its my first 144hz monitor and I love the smoothness. Wasnt expecting the bezels to be as small as they are. Theyre smaller than the 3 23" Dell S2340Ms I bought for 3 monitor gaming which had small bezels. This monitor would be perfect for that. Was gonna pull the trigger on the S2716DG right before I found this one. Saved 100$ by losing G-Sync, but I havent noticed any tearing. Also as an exclusive headphone user, the headphone port on this monitor is in a way better position than the S2716DG. The stand feels great, apart from it being hard to Swivel the display. Not sure if they get easier with use. Highly recommend.

This monitor, aside from my major complaint about the halo, was pretty great. Things look nice and crisp and the 144/155hz refresh rate while gaming made everything smooth and pleasing. But I dont know if i got a defective product, or this is par for the course with this monitor, or it got damaged in shipping, but it has an AWFUL halo around the center of the screen. Its impossible to ignore, especially if there are any solid colors on the screen.

I was very excited as soon as I got mine because this was my first gaming monitor and everything was fine except the down button did not work. I played for about 20 minutes when parts of the screen turned black while other parts where showing my game then it started to flicker once every 3 seconds. Im a bit mad and Ill have to return this monitor.

This monitor performs beautifully for games; the 144hz -155hz refresh rate, Freesync, 1440p, 1ms response time are really nice to have. The display has a minimalistic design with thin bezels and looks very appealing to the eye. Height adjustability is another strong suit. Overall there’s a just lot to like with this montior. Some other reviewers addressed backlight bleeding. I am also experiencing this, mildly. However, when the display is producing an image it’s not noticeable at all. In Windows display settings, make sure you change the refresh rate (hz) from 60 to 144. Out of the box, I was experiencing all kinds of visual distortion in games. I eventually figured Windows was only outputting at 60hz and after switching to 144, all is well.

Built my first ever gaming desktop from the ground up and needed something that would do my 1080Ti justice. The display is beautiful and the monitor was easy to assemble. Definitely has a low profile and I am currently running the computer and 5 gaming consoles through it (PS4, PS3, Wii U, Switch, and Xbox 360), all of which look amazing. The speaker jack is definitely convenient for this as well, because it allows this monitor to act as my all in one gaming setup. Additionally, it is very good about detecting when I am switching between the different inputs to get to the right one, whether it be the computer or HDMI hub. My one complaint is that accessing and changing the settings on the monitor was a little confusing. Part of this is because all of the controls are done through buttons on the bottom of the monitor that line up a little funny with the options that pop up on the screen above them, and part are just because the menu is a bit confusing. It would definitely benefit from something like a remote.

Im not one to review products but this one deserves it; mostly due to the fact that for the past 2 years Ive been looking for a new gaming monitor to upgrade from my Asus VG248QE (24", 1ms response time, 1080p) which Ive been using since 2014. Background on my setup, I have 6 core 5930K CPU at 4.3GHZ, 16GB Ram and GTX 1080Ti. Play mostly high paced FPS such as Unreal Tournament and Quake Champions I tried and returned several monitors including: - Dell s2716DG (Terrible banding, some ghosting but the worst part was the anti-glare film which made the image extremely grainy) - Alienware AW2518H (Anti-glare film made image very grainy, did not seem to do look better than my existing monitor, 240hz did not seem to be a real improvement over 144hz) - MSI Optix MPG27CQ (Anti-glare film made image very grainy, this monitor had a hair stuck between the panel and the anti-glare film which was very distracting, a couple of dead pixels and also a little bit of ghosting) The s2719DGF has what I believe is the best type of anti-glare coating, its non intrusive so it looks Matte and sharp. The response time under the "Fast" setting works perfectly with no ghosting/overshooting. Gsync is working flawlessly at 155hz so far after using for 2 weeks. (Make sure to enable both GSYNC and VSYNC on the nvidia control panel and limit your FPS in game to 3 frames below your refresh rate, in this case 152FPS). Looks great out of the box and all you have to do is lower your Gamma a little bit in the Nvidia control panel to make it look near perfect. The monitor turns on pretty quick, maybe takes 2 seconds compared to about 6 seconds on my old Asus which used to drive me nuts. Controls are very intuitive and easy to use, the power button is very tiny but you get used to it. Overall the build feels solid, not wobbly and stable on the desk. Display Port cable is not included and its needed to enable Gsync on Nvidia cards Its a TN panel so viewing angles are not perfect but for gaming its the perfect monitor and Im glad my search is over.

i returned an MSI 27 1080p 144hz curved monitor and went with this one and for the extra 50 bucks what a great purchase !! The monitor swivels , height adjust , and tilts . The stand and build is super nice , the color is pretty flat black i thought it was going to be a little more silver which i didnt want so i was happy to see it was darker then expected . im running a gtx1060 max q on my Razer . Frame rate does drop 5 to 10 FPS for me going into epic settings on 2k but at the 144 hz its still super smooth looks AMAZING . Custom settings can be set up and overclocking of the monitor can be done which i havent messed with yet .
