Amazing monitor it has improved my vision once again. I thought that i was seeing things more clearly in 4k resolution but once i tried 4k HDR 98hz with that 10bit color panel my life was changed once again! Highly recommend!

Very nice monitor for 4K gaming. My only complaint is that it wasn’t boxed properly by Amazon. The monitor came in it’s original box (no other additional packaging) which was kind of bitten up! My setup for this monitor is RTX 2080 Ti SLI which works really good for this 4K screen. The price of this monitor is a bit too high but I have to say that this is the top 4K screen that you can find in the market atm.

Coming from a PG279q I was a bit Skeptical, but lets just say I am very glad I pulled the trigger on this monitor. HDR at 1000 nits is breathtaking. 4k is a nice, noticable step up from 1440p but the color accuracy and the HDR, did i say HDR already? it will melt you eye balz.

I read the reviews, and I was skeptical about making this purchase($2000!!) for a long time. Let me tell you: fear not! I received a flawless product. I read about dead pixels: not a one. I read about something called light bleed: the picture on this thing is fantastic, not one bit of extra glow (unless you count the red "Strix" party lights). I read about not getting 144hz: have been getting it since I plugged it in and enabled the 144hz mode. 4ms latency from 2ms latency: if you hadnt told me I still wouldnt know the difference. Literally every bad experience with this monitor I read about has NOT happened to me. G-Sync is something else, totally blown away by what it brings to the table. For reference, I have: Asus X99-A, i7 6850k @ 4.1mhz, ROG Strix RTX 2080 OC, 2800hz DDR4. This thing can push out above 60fps 4k on anything. And with HDR, anything that supports HDR as well (G-Sync HDR is what makes it happen I believe). I have been getting ~55-100+ fps on Mankind Divided, AC: Odyssey, GTAV, FO4, and others. Smoothest gaming Ive ever experienced. If you have the money to burn ($2000!!), you will not be disappointed. Solid base, smooth adjustments, cables for everything, plus some extra stuff(lenses for the lights, stuff like that). I really couldnt be happier. The picture is lifelike, the refresh rate is blazing, if the money doesnt matter more than the experience, this is the monitor to buy.

This monitor is absolutely stunning, especially when you are playing a game that has good HDR support. The local dimming is amazing and there is no response time issues. If you ignore the cost, there is nothing lacking about this monitor. Having said that, this is nearly a $2000 monitor and for that price, there are some things I would expect. The stand is very large, if you dont have a deep desk it will be pushing your peripherals closer to the edge of the desk, which I do not like. Everything but the base is made of plastic, while this doesnt bother me too much, I think more premium materials could have been used since this costs as much as an OLED television. Along that same line, the ROG light projector, desk projector, and RGB insignia on the back are a bit tacky, but that is just taste. I had heard grievances about haloing because of the local dimming zones, but it is not noticeable in games or viewing content. The only time I have noticed it is when the mouse tracks across a sizable portion of flat black.

Perfect! Pretty much the best word to describe it. Blacks are so deep. Colors pop. Whites are as white can get. Just make sure and get a cat 6 or 7 DP cable. Dont go cheap there. This thing deserves the best. Im 46 yrs old with old eyes kicking in, and this monitor gave my eyes new life. I debated between this one and the Acer version and just trusted the Asus name(Im sure there both great). $2000 is a ton of cash, no doubt, but remember this monitor is basically future proof.

I was concerned that a 4ms monitor IPS monitor would make me play worse than my 1ms TN monitor, but I personally dont notice a difference. Ive tested this with Destiny 2, CS:GO, Overwatch, and Rainbow Six Siege. This truly is a top of the line monitor, and Im always struck with awe with how well the picture looks with 4K HDR. Jumping from 24inches to 27 inches is like stepping into another world. It runs really well with my RTX 2080 @ 1440p and 4k If you dont want to run 4k resolution, games will still look good @ 2560x1440 resolution on this monitor. I guess my only gripe comes from the well known "IPS glow" when a screen is pitch black. Google it to see what I mean. But in all honesty, its not that big of a deal or noticeable when youre playing games with dark areas. If you have the money, this is definitely worth it. Im going to be keeping this for a very long time.

I’m using this monitor for two months. No issues with dead pixels or loud fan like some reviews said. If you have Far Cry 5 game you can enjoy HDR picture. With overclocked monitor to 144 Mhz and 4K settings a picture looks amazing. Even with 30 FPS I don’t see any slowdowns. Check your monitor serial number. After certain digit in serial number you don’t have to upgrade firmware to get nice picture when you overclock to 144 Mhz. Check ASUS site for this info. Also please put "Display port deep sleep" and "HDMI deep sleep" settings to "ON" otherwise a fan in the monitor will constantly spin even if you turn monitor OFF.
