This is our first projector ,just for our family movie night. When I received it, my son was so excited, he setup quickly and the installation was clearly. It had multiple inputs in the back and the user interface is easy to use and understand. After setting up the projector I was able to adjust the screen size for a perfect fit the bedroom wall, I havent have a projector’s screen, so putting the image on a rough wall which will decrease its resolution, The brightness, contrast, and color quality display is good. The sound quality is not the best, but its better than the speakers in my laptop, much louder and clearer. Below is the review from my 8-year old son

My son and I decided one day to turn our bonus room into a theater room. The plan is to get a ultra short throw but lets get an inexpensive projector for now to see if this is something we will use and to learn more about projectors. We first got a 120" Silver Ticket screen which was great and super easy to put together and mount. The Artlii Portable Movie Projector is ultimately what we ended up with but we tried three other projectors and ended up returning them. The Vankyo Leisure 510 had a great bright picture but I struggled to correct the keystone for the blurry images. It had a great carrying case and the overall package was beautiful. The Newest Abox A2 was next, it was great for the money. A little bit dimmer but still a great picture. The fan was super noisy on the excessive side so we returned that one too. The third projector was trash- i wont even say which one it was but for under $100, hell to the NO!!. So the 4th was the Artlii and I was thinking that we might need to bump up the budget for this temp projector. It arrived in the mail and we were so excited cause this one had zoom. Part of the issue with the other projectors is that we had them on a tripod and each projector had different throw distances to cover the 120inch screen. When the projector arrived my son couldn’t wait for movie night!! The Artlii projector came with everything we needed, it was simply plug and play no set up required. The projector came in white and felt good in quality like the Vanyyo and seems durable. It’s light weight and compacted, so I am able to keep it on the projector tripod in the room without it feeling like it is taking up too much space. Picture quality wise, wish it was a little brighter but for the price, it is a keeper. I can’t really compare it to the higher end projectors but I would say you can’t go wrong with this as a budget or starter projector. Once you get it the focus on that sweet spot the image is crisp. The best feature this has is the zoom ability. With the other projectors, i had to move my sectional up because the projector throw was right were the couch needed to be for optimal viewing. Now we can set the projector further back and zoom the image to the screen. This was a deal breaker for me. The fan is a little noisy but not intrusive. The colors and contrast look amazing!! I know this is a beginner/starter projector for me but I could use this thing for a very very long time. If you are on the fence about this projector, dont be. Buy it now and start enjoying your movie nights!!

As a film composer, I have always wanted a projector in my studio - which has zero daylight entering it. As it is absolutely a luxery item, not a necessity, I wanted to keep costs down so image quality & noise level were the aspects I was most focused on. And my god! What a beautiful piece of technology. The image is stunning (!!), on a flat white wall in front of me. Adjusting the sharpness by calibrating it to official calibration files helped me a ton! What really saved me here is by finally closing one eye to judge the sharpness of the lines that were shown in the test files. I couldnt get the sharpness right untill I did that. Now its crisp! A small asterix on the picture I included: The image is clean and crisp in real life. Its hard to share that experience with a picture I took on my phone. My apologies for that. The blacks and whites are as strong as you want them to be, sure they could be better, but I doubt they could get better at this price, youd have to triple your budget im sure. It for sure does not limit my experience in any way. Getting the colour right was a mix of using windows screen-settings (as i hooked it onto my computers HDMI output) and the settings on the projector itself. Constantly going back and forth between the test files I had downloaded online and using my Itunes movie library for referencing, most of all to judge Skin tone, black&whites. Until you arrive at the sweetspot. Hanging the projector onto the ceiling was a piece of cake, using M4 screws I was able to hook it up via its 3-screw-system at the bottom of the projector, meaning my projector hangs upside down. I have got a temporary ceiling mount now with strong ropes - which I might replace with something a little more sturdy later on. haha. Further more, the remote control works like a dream. I sort of expected that the quality for the remote control would be bad, and not always responsive. But i am very happy to say and share that it works seamless. Also the noise, at first I was a little suprised that it still made a bit of noise. But I had to remind myself that ALL projectors make fan-noise. And when youre watching a film, the noise that this projector makes dissapears completely. All in all, with the high-end studio sound I already have installed for my work on scoring films, in combination with this kickass projector. I now have a better setup then many movie theaters in my vicinity.. I absolutely am in love with this projector. :) To the Cons? There just arent any. For this price, its incredible what you will be getting. Oh and did I mention it has an HDMI cable included?? I mean I have never experienced that ever before on any piece of tech. Well done folks at Artlii, well done indeed!

Since I was young, my dream was to have a projector of my own. I still remember those days when my sister and brother and I were watching movie in my grandma’ yard. I always thought that I would love to have my own projector, so I can watch movie and play my video games in one of those, as if I were in the pure cinema. Well, ladies & gentleman, this day has arrived : _D What I threw back in the purchase of one of these was mainly the exorbitant price they had (well that and the fact that it did not work xD). In fact years ago only companies, municipalities and certain entities could allow them, it was rare that someone had one at home (well-to-do individuals, few of whom I know). Reviewing it over the years, I have seen that the technologies have improved a lot and above all they have made a lot of money. Looking at the prices of projectors one is excited to have their own at home. FIRST IMPRESSIONS AND INSTALLATION The projector comes in a sturdy box with carrying handle (thanks for that detail!) Perfectly protected for transport with air chambers inside the box itself. Includes HDMI cable with mesh (surprisingly good), power cable, remote control and AV cable (RCA video and audio left and right). From what I remembered of the old projectors, this one is smaller and a lot less heavy.It measures approx 9 x 7 x 3.5 inch high. It comes well stocked with several video inputs such as the classic and obsolete VGA, 2x HDMI, AV input; and data inputs for Pen-drive and Micro-SD USE It really is easy, it practically does not stop being plug & play. Connect to the power, connect a video input (anything that emits image), give power to the projector and ready. At the start, it detects the active input and the sample shows pam. In terms of configuration options I can touch parameters of focus, contrast, color, trapezoidal correction ... although in general it is not necessary to touch much except the focus and trapezoidal correction, but this is physically modified by the outside with the wheels that are above the lens. It also has a small retractable foot to tilt it as needed. I would add as a curious note of use with respect to other projectors, that this is switched off, it does not require time to cool the bulb or similar. QUALITY This is where the description of the features can lead to confusion, so I clarify: Accepts video inputs up to 1080p. But the projection it makes is at 720p According to what we want and our viewing distance could seem somewhat lacking with current standards, but like everything, this goes accordingly to the price. Equally used to seeing projections all in resolution as much Super VGA 800x600 (4: 3), climbing at 1280x768 (16: 9) is noted. And this is where my main use comes from: RETROGAMING. Play the mythical games of my early youth on the big screen ^ o ^.So, lets say that the resolution ... it gives me quite the same xD. We can get to play games up to PS3 and Xbox 360 in native resolution (but Ill play older ones). I usually play my games without applying filters or shaders, in a clean pixel plan. With a projection distance of 2.3 meters from the wall, a screen 1.7 meters wide by 1 meter high is projected. In NeoGeo games I get great projected pixels with a size of 0.4 cm on each side. Pure love Where you can see the quality of the projector is in the brightness and color. The 2800 lumen do not have to be completely dark to appreciate the image ... but like any movie lover, I visualize everything in the dark xD. Also in this way is when you can appreciate the color and contrast that projects, which I think is very good. As for the sound ... ehm lets say its to get by. It has loudspeakers and it sounds good, if we take the projector wherever it is, it will be useful to get out of trouble. But if you are going to install it fixed at home, you will not use the integrated speakers. You can connect some audio device to have a decent listening. Linked to this, some people are annoyed by the noise it generates, but it is still a cooling fan which we will not hear when we put anything with audio. Ive heard much louder PC towers xD CONCLUSION Keep in mind that you will probably have to make an additional outlay to buy a support where to fix the projector (ceiling probably) and a long HDMI with desire, some audio to have a decent output (set of speakers or home cinema) , and according to how a projection screen. That said for me this projector is a dream come true, economically and perfectly for my use, I can not be happier: D. Tip you have a video with some of my test vices, nothing serious :)

Its a great buy for the price. I have been using and very much satisfied all my needs. It is not too small but the picture quality is great. I have plans to mount it and use its awesome zoom feature to adjust the projection size. The attached photo is when I tried to project on rough wall. I am sure the picture quality will be even better when I project it on screen.

This projector is amazing. Need to order a screen and ceiling mount for perfect picture. Out of the box up and running in 5 minutes. 2 knobs to adjust picture and keystone quick. Sound is great, wont be needing my soundbar in my room, my second projector for my living room will need surround sound. Plugged chromecast in and started watching. Simple, reasonably priced and great quality. Everyone is happy with this family gift for early Christmas. No more worrying about TV screens around the kids.

I have a television in the living room but I like to binge watch and put myself to sleep. And I wanted to have a big TV and somewhat portable as I keep moving due to the nature of my job. The projector just seems to be a compelling choice as per my requirement. I have hooked chromecast with it. Thats all I need. I can watch Netflix, Showtime and Hulu, all at a tap of the button, well, couple taps to be precise. It has 2 HDMIs, but I dont use another one, Those who have an android box or want to hook up a laptop can do that, I have it placed on the top of my headboard so it just levels right on the opposite side of the wall and the viewing angle is exactly what I would expect. The color reproduction is normal, I couldnt say it like watching TV. It is useless during the day time if you get a good amount of daylight inside your bed. I am out and about during day time and also Its in the bedroom, so I use my living room TV when on the weekends. Also, It has built-in sound, so you dont need extra speakers. But I like to keep it low, so I use headphones with the provided aux port. It has a bunch of features to fine-tune the picture quality based on the distance of projection and brightness and spread of the picture. Overall, I like for its portability and price to value ratio.

This projector came with, user mannual, remote, a power cable, and a HDMI cable. First of all, I am so impressed with such a small project with amazing resolution and brightness, considering it costs only 140 bucks. It is portable and very light (3 lb), and there is no need to fix it on the wall. My kids really enjoy watching watching cartoon with it while my wife and I would just use it to watch movies from the amazon prime vedio, cuz we can choose whatever we like by one click. You probably can not compare the quality of this one with one cost 1000 bucks, but definitely it works perfectly for most of the families. My son told me he already told his 2nd grader buddies, and they all want to come over to enjoy a movie. It is beyond my expectation and I am more than happy to give it a five star!

This is the first projector i have ever owned and i am very impressed. It is very portable, there is a stand under the projector to raise the device up, you can adjust the focus with the knob surrounding the lens, and the brightness is very good. Also, it is a very cheap price compare to the quality you receive (720P resolution).

The artlii mini portable projector. Where to begin with yet another awesome projector from artlii. This is my second projector that i have purchased from them and I have to say im really happy with their products that I decided to buy this mini portable projector from them and I am not disappointed. Lets start talking about the design of this projector its sleek, small in size where you can take this projector any where, also has many slots for efficient cooling. The projector puts off a super bright image onto the wall that that has a 16:9 or a 4:3 image mode. I was able to projector the image to my 120 inch screen in a close range due to the great new zoom feature this projector has. This is also helpful for me as i like to watch movies outside and i do not have a large deck. Due to the great size of this projector and the zoom feature I am able to enjoy movies on my deck with my kids. One of the other great features this projector has is the SD card slot which makes it easy to show everyone your movies that you have stored on your memory card. I put lots of movies on my memory card so now i can just put the card in and watch it off the projector. Another great feature for this projector is the speaker and since i was using this outside i did not hook up any external speakers. I used the speaker that was built in and i was super happy with the sound quality that came out of it. NO NEED FOR EXTERNAL SPEAKERS. This was a nice surprise to hear a nice loud sound come out of it. The last thing i would like to touch on is the sharpness of this projector. It really shot a nice clear image to my screen corners and everything was clear given this was a 720p projector. So key take ways: 1.Awesome size very portable 2.Zoom Feature makes it easy to create a large image in a small room 3.Image quaility is amazing for the size of this projector 4. Speaker is Loud 5. PRICE POINT IS GREAT Things I would like to see in the future (given the price you really cant ask for anything better) 1. Native 1080p 2. Wifi so you can enable smart features
