Wonderful for the price. You can get an HD projector for $599.00 whats not to like? Well Ill get to a couple of things at the end Remember, you get what you pay for! I bought this primarily as a business projector, giving product presentations, updates, talking to analysts, investors and so forth. It comes with a handy carrying case and I used an HDMI cable (not included) to hook it up to my Apple Macbook Pro. Picture is very good, bright, very sharp and I use my slides in 16:9 mode so an HD projector works well for me, I can also use it to view movies, TV, etc. It is light and easy to carry although the finish will get, and show fingerprints, smudges, etc. It will run on batteries too, a nice feature for someone who wants to have a portable projector with them as well as a laptop, no electrical power required to go about your business. The internal battery also provides another nice feature, when running on battery it is quiet. Yep, plugged in it is noisy. Too noisy to really want to listen to. I mean you could but I dont think youd want to watch a movie, TV show, Youtube video, etc while it is plugged in. If you are thinking about it strictly as a home entertainment projector you may want to look elsewhere. One other drawback, it is manual focus, so be aware youll have to tweak it when moving it around. Pros: Bright Crisp picture Detailed - letters sharp and easy to read Color looks good Light Comes with a case Battery operated Easily portable Cons: Noisy when plugged in Manual focus

This is the best projector for the money. Its small and very bright. When its in Bright mode, it is loud, in Standard mode, the noise is acceptable, it is totally quiet in Eco mode. Eco mode is not bright enough unless the room is quite dark. I found most and almost all of the time I am using Standard mode, its bright enough for a lit room. The speakers are loud enough so you dont have to bring an external or Bluetooth speaker wherever you go. The throw distance is also pretty good. Menu is easy to navigate. A lot of people complained about the extra red color on peoples face when showing movies, but that didnt bother me much. Perhaps because I didnt pay much attention to it. Now on to how to make this projector really useful. This projector comes with a built-in battery. It can project up to 1 1/2 hours in Eco mode, and only works in Eco mode. As I mentioned above, the projector is not bright enough in this mode, and what do you do? You definitely should order a 50000mAh power bank. Dont order just any power bank, but order the one one made by TSSUCCESS ($120) Why? Because some of the power banks may have the same 50000mAh, but not enough Amps to power the projector. This projector draws 19.5v 4.62A, the TSSUCCESS can output up to 20V 4.74A. Most the power banks only output up to 4A, they will shutdown if you put the projector on Bright mode. With this external battery, you can power the projector in Standard mode for close to 2 1/2 hours (2hrs. 28 mins.), 1 1/2 in hours in Bright mode. You can have an outdoor or beach party anytime with this battery and the projector. I plan to order another battery, with 2 50000mAh batteries, I can have even a football (I have a HD TV tuner which can be powered by the same battery with its USB slot) party outdoor, anywhere I go. If you want to impress your friends how small your projector is, youve got to order the " BAGSMART Electronics Travel Organizer Bag." The AAXA M6 and the power adapter fit perfectly in this case. The bag comes with the projector is probably small enough for most people, but I prefer an even smaller case. Last but not least. Since the projector doesnt come with a lens cover, I purchased some "Vinyl Plastic Circle Stickers Erasable Removable Chalkboard Labels" as lens cover (outside of the lens). These stickers can be reused many time, you can replace with a new one when they dont stick anymore.

This is my second Aaxa projector and I really love this one. For a projector that shows 1200 lumens, its much brighter than I expected. I have a generic projector that claims to deliver 2500 lumens and the M6 is much brighter and has better contrast. Aaxa has a good and clean menu system and very easy to use. Besides using for business presos, I use this for movies and so halloween special effects. Its works great. If there was one ding, it would be the that the fan is a little noisy, but I have yet to find a projector with a really quiet fan. Its no worst than any other projector though. With todays advances in technology, I think all vendors could improve in this area. Also, the M6 came with a nice case, which is a bonus and one less accessory I need to buy. I have no regrets, this is a perfect projector for my use case from a trusted vendor that I can count on if any problems were to arise.

I tried to like this little guy, like other reviews said yes the fans can be loud but if paying a movie its not noticeable. Its really bright especially for its size and 1080P makes those large screen sizes doable and still sharp. Works great in ambient light.... But here is the issue that is making me return it... Its not the lack of keystone correction(thats annoying) its that whatever chip they are using for the projector it makes its color reproduction horrible!!! I mean its just plain bad!! I can not watch a movie on this as the colors are so distorted... When plugging in to my laptop even the basic windows desktop (windows 10) the flowers background look so bad that I can not stand it... I have had projectors for years and even a projector from over 20 years ago had better color reproduction than this... I would also gripe that the fact it can only support a 32GB USB drive is annoying too, I have another LG unit that I can plug my 4tb HDD in and play all my files right off of it. This projector would make a good portable PowerPoint presentation but thats not me... I just can not get over the colors... I am sending this one back... I also believe that something that should be considered in a micro projector is that short throw is preferred normally a smaller projector will be used in a small room... Its not a bid deal but in a dorm room (or equivalent) to get a 100" screen this needs to be pretty far back. I tried to love this its brightness and resolution almost won me over, I could live without keystone correction but the color reproduction is just too bad for me... And I find the onboard media player worthless...

No ability to adjust keystone period. I knew it didn’t have auto feature before I purchased but assumed you could manually adjust. If you can’t position this thing level don’t buy it. I used a small 8” tripod to raise it off the table just a bit and the 1/4-20 tripod insert pulled loose on first use. I’m waiting on the epoxy to dry now... Hey AAXA mold in a hex shaped insert and spend a few more bucks in manufacturing to correct the keystone and I’d gladly pay $150 more and give you a higher rating. Picture is good and for the money and size not a whole lot of other options in the 1080p spec.

So far, so good. :) Set up was easy, but I did have to use my own picture and color settings. To get good flesh tones, I set tint to 65. Color is strong at 20. Brightness at around 60. I do not find the fan noise significant, but it is above the viewing area. The distance from screen in relation to diagonal size is not accurate. It would also help if the documentation had a better description of the device, which would make it easier to mount. I created a platform for it to sit on overhead (projector is upside down. I cut a circular hole in the platform for the controls to be exposed. I also used a hook and eye strap to secure it to the platform. This M6 is replacing my LG UST projector, the mirror of which was trash shortly after the warranty expired! The picture is much brighter than the LG, even though it is only rated 200 lumens higher than the LG. Once burnt, twice shy; so I purchased the protection plan! The contrast is incredible! I can recommend this little powerhouse highly!

I have only had this projector for a couple of days. Ive used it for two presentations so far. I was waiting until I could find a projector that had full HD resolution in Native mode. The first presentation was on a full wall sized whiteboard with an approximately 10 foot screen. PDF files showing 2 standard letter pages side by side viewed from 15 feet were readable using dimmed conference room light while the unit was on batteries. Everyone was impressed. While on batteries, there are no fans to listen to either but the image is dimmer. The second presentation was in a large Hall using HDMI output from a cell phone to run a PowerPoint presentation again, I had to work from batteries with someone holding the projector slightly up from a table about 15 ft from the screen. There is no Keystone adjustment and it was noticeable but did not affect the readability of the presentation. The hall lights were off but the 65 people in attendance were able to see the screen easily. I did test out the color rendition with some images generated buy a high-end DSLR. The color saturation was quite good. Just for fun, I also ran a short video while I was in the lab with the 10-foot screen. The little speaker worked well enough in a 14 x 36 ft lab with no other equipment currently running. Synchronization between the video and the sound was good.

OK so yes, its noisy and I would love to find a muffling device that doesnt overheat the darn thing, but other than that niggle the projector is VERY handy. I take it with me on all my travels and frequently am able to pull it out in a business meeting to make a presentation to substitute an often aging one installed in the meeting room. Its also not bad for watching movies in hotel rooms while traveling. The image resolution is eye-popping although color contrast seems to be set too high.

Very versatile projector. I use it primarily as an extra monitor for my computer and to watch movies. The projector is small enough to carry in the same backpack that I carry my MacBook Pro in (carry-on to airplanes, etc.). It is big enough to have a bright bulb and a high resolution. I trade stocks and futures contracts, and use the projector for my charting software. I needed a high resolution display for these purposes. This projector does great in that regard. I was overseas for six months and used the projector as a second monitor, projecting onto the wall of my flat. I mounted it on a camera tripod. It does have some fan noise in normal or bright modes, but I was satisfied with the brightness in Eco mode even during the middle of the day, which is virtually noiseless. I also used it to project on a larger wall to watch movies, and was very happy with the results. I use external speakers, and dont really have any comment about the internal one. When I got back to the USA, I had a problem with my unit. Even though it could have been caused by travel or my new setup, it was still under warranty. The service department repaired it under warranty and returned it very promptly. I have been using the projector for approximately 9 months now and have been very satisfied with its performance and with the customer service department at AAXA. I would recommend this unit as a portable projector (but not as a tiny pico projector that would fit in the palm of your hand). I would also recommend AAXA for their great customer support.

I bought the M6 Micro Full HD 1920x1080 projector for work & development projects just over a month ago from Amazon. It worked fine for the first few weeks. Then the remote seemed to quit being able to control it. The unit will power up from the manual switch, but it will not respond to commands from the remote. I changed the CR2032 battery in the remote & no joy. I bought the 4 year extended warranty package and would like to find out if theres some trick that could just get it syncd up and working again. Love the projector, hate the hassle of something this essential going whale fail. Posting this same email to the Amazon review as a verified purchaser. Please advise the solution you propose.
