Ever since my son took the ps3 that we used for our blu-ray player, I was looking for something to replace it. To be honest, I don’t watch too many movies on disc anymore, but I wanted to have one just in case. I have a 4K tv, so I wanted to get a 4K player. I found this, but some of the reviews had me concerned. But for $114, I figured it was worth a shot. It arrived 2 days later, and my only complaint is that it wasn’t in another box. So you know what it is. My ups driver leaves my stuff on the porch, so anyone walking by sees it sitting there. Good thing I had a couple other things delivered, so it was in the back. It came nicely packed, no parts rattling around in the box. It had the scratch resistant tape around it, and the unit looks brand new. All the other parts were nicely packaged under the player. I have a Samsung tv, with the smart hub, so hooking it up was a piece of cake. Within 5 minutes, I was ready to go. Turning it on, the on screen directions were very easy to follow. I only own one 4K disc, so I popped it in and started watching. The player hooked right up to the WiFi. The picture is beautiful, and all the menus and features were working properly. I stopped playing the movie, and when it resumed, it picked up where I left off. I haven’t tried a regular dvd, or blu-ray yet, so I can’t comment on the upscaling yet. Nor have I tried the 3-D, but that will come soon. I already have a smart tv, so the apps on the player seem redundant to me. All the same apps I’m already using through the tv. Overall, I like this player, and I’m glad I bought this instead of paying more than twice as much as a brand new one. Definelty consider this if you want a nice 4K player for a great price.

My original unit was killed by a power surge when a transformer near our home blew out and I did not have the proper surge protection protecting my unit. Since it is out of production, I chose to purchase a refurbished unit and an quite happy...performs as if new.

Set it up and got error message. Noticed a rattle when I unboxed. Should have listened to the reviews. Too bad I can’t watch new 4k I bought. Whoever refurbished this must have been preoccupied with something else. Hope the return goes well. Will not purchase again

Excellent picture but I have to give it a three stars for false advertisement. No Bluetooth.

Said refurbished in description. No way it was someone’s disc was still in it and and when putting in any disc from dvd to 4K UHD nothing plays. It is junk.

Description said I was buying a made to look and preform like new refurbished Blueray player. What showed up was a blueray player that looked like it fell out of a truck. Seriously would hope it would be nicer if I bought it at a garage sale.

The advertising states it has Bluetooth and wifi, it does not! Bluetooth does not exist on this model I guess. I was hoping for Bluetooth capability. Will most likely return for refund.
