Paid extra for shipping an was a day late than expected . The remote for this product also doesnt work and we are using our old LG remote for it . Would of had to send it back if we hadnt of had that . For the money I expect better .

Excellent Blu-Ray Disc Player.

I have had 4 different blue-ray players die in the last four years. The last one was the previous model of LG that at least had the good sense to die just before the one year warranty was over. The blue-ray part seems to stop recognizing blue-ray discs, even though the dvd part still worked fine. At least LG does seem to stand behind their product with a whole year warranty This one was a christmas season special for about 50 some dollars, so seemed like a decent value. It does a good job of doubling the resolution of dvd so the difference between blue-ray and dvd is hard to see. Easy set-up and small size is serious plus. Of course you have to buy an HDMI cable, which is not included. Time will tell.
