I bought this printer in March of 2018. At first I thought it was great; relatively easy to set up and use. Fast, good quality printing. Then I started having problems. By fall I had to have Xerox techs come out 3 times to fix the same problem - a terrible grinding noise that wouldnt stop unless I turned off the unit. Each time the tech had to order a replacement part and the process would take a week or more to get fixed. Xerox finally issued a replacement after the 3rd occurrence. I received a refurbished unit and almost immediately began getting an error message that rendered it useless. Tech came out and spent an hour with phone support trying to work through the issue. Finally got it working. Now, a couple of months later Im having the same issue with this printer that I had with the original one - that terrible grinding noise. I run a small business and my printing needs are low to moderate; we are not printing heavy volume by any means. Having had the same issue with two different units of this model I would definitely avoid this printer.

Seems well built. Outside of scan to email, it was easy to set up but the scan to email setup is not the machines fault. Its the same on all MFPs. Wi-fi set-up was easy. Web interface is fairly easy to find things. User interface is ok but earlier Xerox UIs were easier and faster to make changes to settings for jobs. Prints fast, reasonably quiet, scans are high quality. Print quality is good on the cheap paper Im using. Better paper would improve the quality. Duplex scanning and printing is a welcomed feature as well as scans to PDF can be made searchable. Only issue Im having it is wakes up from sleep every 30 minutes while the fax line is connected. Might be a sensitivity to line voltage changes that is triggering it to wake up with my Spectrum VOIP phone line. Old Canon fax didnt have this issue.

bought this printer for my son for Christmas. Unfortunately there was NO power cord, leaving the printer useless. I have called both Xerox and Amazon several times. Xerox says this is Amazons problem because they bought it through a client of Xerox. Amazon says not their problem its Xeroxs problem. So here we sit with an expensive, useless printer for Christmas. I am so disappointed in both Xerox and Amazon.

This is my second color laxer printer. The last was a Canon and a complete disaster. This printer reliably shows up on the network. The driver’s are in Windows so prints reliably. It goes to sleep and wakes up reliably. I can print to it wirelessly from my phone. The color accuracy for photos as an example isn’t great but for documents, presentations, stuff from the web it works great. I would recommend it for a small business or established home.

Bought 2 of this copier within the space of one month, the first one i used for $ days before I started hearing this loud noise. After letting my husband look at it we discovered that a metal coil looking part appeared to have come out of place. Figured it was probably a manufacture problem or something. Less than two weeks later i bought another one of these copier and it printed well for about 5 weeks then the yellow toner wasnt recognizing. I went on you tube to find a solution to getting my copier to recognize the toner powered off/on the copier many times but up till now it did not work. I live in the Bahamas , so what it will cost me to send these copiers back Id rather just cut my losses than to waste any more money trying to get this problem solved. So now i have 2 brand new copiers valuing about $1,200 ( overall total it cost me to get these printers to Bahamas and in my house) sitting in my work space that Im unable to use. Better believe im angry as hell about that. But I dont have the time to deal with the problem and i refuse to spend more money returning items . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY>>> I gave it a two star because they printed beautiful color images and at a good speed.

Great PRINTER... copy/scan feature is junk. I bought this as a home MFP and produced 129 "images". Xerox wants 260 for the first half hour and 65 each 15 there after... I can buy the exact same doorstop for that price... Xerox is no longer even on my shopping list let alone the most recommended printer/copier company. Once the toner runs out Ill be donating the carcass to hazardous waste.

I sell printers and copiers and this is by far the most difficult printer to set up just to use the scanner or fax. I have managed to set it up to print from my computer, and of course make copies which does not need any work to set up. But I have had this copier for two months now and still have not been able to make it scan or use the fax machine, it is very difficult to set up to work. The CD that comes with it, when installing it installs everything and then tells you that it cannot install the scanner feature. I thought it could be my computer, but installed it on three other computers and still the same error. So please do yourself a favor and do not buy this printer.

1.) This machine offers VERY limited capabilities. Setting up the Wi-Fi is frustrating at best. Setting up scan to file is next to impossible. Now 7 months in the Wi-Fi will no longer connect at all. This sets aside that they go to great lengths to force you to buy genuine Xerox toner at stupid high prices. I love the print quality of Xerox, but I will NEVER buy another Xerox product. 2.) This is the third Xerox printer I have bought off of Amazon, in the last year. ALL THREE have had issues of some form (slow learner I guess). One had print quality issues from the start and I returned it. One only 500 pages into use began marking prints, needed cleaned and new roller, at a cost near the price of a new printer. And, of course, this one. I will NEVER buy a printer (or other office equipment) off of Amazon again. I am convinced they are less then retail quality.

Good print quality, network scanning difficult to configure but the tech support hotline is very helpful and no long wait times. The user interface is pleasant. I would give it four stars but my printer stopped working after four weeks of use. A technician is supposed to show up tomorrow to troubleshoot the problem, the on-site support is appreciated, but Im bummed that Im having problems with the printer so quickly, makes me question the reliability.

Much more reliable and easier to use than the Canon I replaced. It it still a bit of a challenge to quickly figure out what settings to use if you use something other than stock paper, such as envelopes or bond. Perhaps there is a quicker way and I just have not figured it out. As a typical printer/copy machine, this unit excels.
