Full disclosure: I didnt buy this printer through amazon. But I DO own one and I have had it for four years. So I thought you might be interested in an opinion from a long-term owner. I do computer and network support for a living, so Id like to think I can evaluate a printer well. That being said, I LOVE this printer! I use mine in my home/office. For four years its been printing like a champ. Two years ago I bought the optional HP wireless print server designed for this model printer. Its basically a USB printer server that is controlled by the printer firmware. That too works fantastic. I simply have NO problems with this printer. The print quality is just fine. And this printer consistently prints fast. The manf. rating is 45PPM and thats what I get. And its not very noisy when it prints. For such a fast printer, it prints quietly. When I bought this printer, I was wanting to avoid Brother brand laser printers. They work quite well, but they last 3-5 years. I was longing for the "good old days" when an HP printer would last 1 to 2 DECADES. And I honestly expect this printer to have such a lifetime. At four years old it shows absolutely no signs of wear or age. Also, I have had no issues using quality aftermarket (Non-HP) toner cartridges in this printer.

Good product but is slow to start printing, When we are really busy something we send to print twice because It take so long we believe we did no sent to print. The rest is good. Cartridge last long time

Great working printer but one thing, when you run out of INK you have to go to the Bank for a loan, Expensive HP Ink is anywhere from $190. to $500. off brand $49. if it will work sometimes NOT.

we have been uses this printer for over 6 months and havent had any issues with it. It prints fast and it is not too difficult to set up if you know what you are doing.

Weve tried other printers but we always come back to HP for easy of installation and service. These things work where others wouldnt.

Supplier would not honor a faulty manufactured printer for return. They refused . It was a little after the 30 day mark. You will have to call HP and go through the inconvenience of returning directly to HP. Be aware before you buy or spend your higher dollars $s with only a 30 day return policy. Will not purchase future printers from this supplier.

My staff seems very happy with this printer. Much faster than the one it replaces. Me? I am not ecstatic about the HP proprietary print cartridges.

Unfortunately the printer came with a defective toner which it took a on site service person to fugure out why we we were having printer defects, Once that was resolved it works like a charm. Both Amazon and P were very cooperative in resolving the problem
