This printer is AWFUL! Constantly gives message that paper is jammed-when it not-or that there is no paper! Also new ink cartriges read as half full, when color has not even been used. Set-up was also unnecessarly finicky. Over all Id give zero stars if Icould. This pig is going back asap...Terrible unit.

I am fairly tech savvy, but I followed the directions and have spent 2-3 hours trying to connect both to my computer as well as my phone with no luck with either. Technical support online only directs you to the same brochures that come with the printer. Could not find someone to talk to. Finally called corporate which did give me an option for support and apparently they arent open on Sundays. Ive always had HP printers. I bought a Canon to try it. I wont again. Very disappointed in lack of support.

Ive been buying Canon printers for years, and theyve all been great - until this one. The paper tray is pathetically thin, and I couldnt get it to load paper without jamming - if it recognized the presence of paper at all. Even if Id managed to get it to print a single page, it still wouldve been too much trouble. As is, its completely useless.

I bought this Canon TS6220 to replace a Canon 6800 printer that lasted just past its one year warranty. The main reason I ordered this one was because I had a couple of complete sets of ink cartridges for the 6800 and I wanted something they would fit. Well I looked at something wrong. When I received this it had a new style cartridge, a 280 series verses the 270 series. I can buy a complete set of 270 series for under $10. The cheapest I could find the 280 series was $45 a set and some were listed at more that the printer cost. I will use this printer until the ink runs out and if the ink prices have not come down throw it away and buy something else. As for the printer, the setup program didnt work and I had to set it up manually. I still cant get it to work with my smart phone. It does print with my computer as long as I have my hotspot turned on. I dont print a lot. The 6220 seems to print adequately. If you want to spend $69 for a printer and then $55 every time you need ink then go for it. Otherwise find something else. Summary: Ink ridiculously expensive, hard to install, prints ok.

By the second use, just after turning on it started to say paper is jammed. We followed the manual, spent 2 hours to see the jam but there wasnt any jam. Disconnected, reconnected, still nothing. Returning now. This unpredictable thing wont work for me as it was needed for a small office.

Does any company make a decent printer? Ive not found one. This printer constantly says "No paper" which is not the case. Shuts off almost immediately so each time its used, you must go to the printer and turn it on. Saves power, but a complete pain. Seems as if i spend half of my day getting the printer started and its problems sorted out. Totally frustrating. Do not buy.

UPDATE: Well its been 4 months & Ive had enough of this printer I actually avoid printing anything because its such a horrendous project to print something; additionally its cheaper to buy a new printer than to replace the ink in this one.. This is absolutely the worst Canon printer I have ever owned and thats saying something.. I did not want to buy another Canon printer because they dont have a long shelf life but I bought this one for only one reason "it prints labels" , however, I would have been better off just hand writing the labels because this printer is terrible.. The designer of this printer must have gotten paid by number of steps required to perform any function.. Terrible printer and Im stuck with it now..
