For starters, I checked the Q&A and people said there were buttons at the bottom right corner. Well, the one I got had a JOYSTICK in the back. There were zero instructions that came with it. The Amazon page references a spec sheet as the "manual" LOL Viewsonic, though it did have a manual, does not account for the new joystick control in the back. My other problem was the darn thing would lose signal just as soon as Windows booted up. Posts just fine but just before Windows plays the startup sound the signal disappears and there is literally no way to restore it. So the manual instructs that it must be on BEFORE starting your computer. Ok, boot up all the way to Windows and signal turns off. See first instruction. DERP! Anyway, I tried and tried to get it to display once it go to Windows but it was hopeless. I have never been so disappointed in any PC hardware in my life. I so looked forward to having a curved screen. But this thing was pure minimalist in every way. Wish Id noticed it didnt have a display port. That was fine as long as I got 144hz. Well, I got nothing at all as it turns out. Im so angry. Submitted a refund request. BTW the packaging was haphazard. I opened the box and stuff just fell out. There dont seem to be openings to place the stand, for instance. Speaking of which it was a NIGHTMARE getting the stand off the monitor.

This VX3258-2KC -MHD has about 20 hours of time on it. Just out of Amazon return window by a week. First started with one vertical line and now has three vertical lines . I have a 10 year old Gateway model LP2417 monitor that still works great and not one dead pixel. The Gateway 1920 x1200 has a 3ms response time that runs a lot more smoothly then is monitor in game play. I am using a Geforce GTX980 graphics card that should be over kill for this monitor. Back to the problem of warranty . VeiwSonic said they would repair/ replace monitor but I have to pay shipping. The warranty place is in California and live in Colorado. The huge box it came in was tossed out after I set it up and seemed like it was working correctly. Called around for shipping estimates from 150.00 to 200.00 dollars . Cutting my losses on this cheap made product. I should have known what you pay for is what you get. Hooked my Gateway back up for now and do my research before buy another monitor.

What is good: 1. Picture is good enough for FHD resolution. 2. Turning On is fast. What is bad: 1. Too much idiots worked on this monitor and it is a big stigma on ViewSonic name. The first idiot introduced the joystick button and placed it on the rear wall. The second idiot(s) allowed it into final design. This button is very hard to use, especially when monitor is in furniture or in tight space. 2. There is no height adjustment, only for tilt. 3. Speakers are not good even for office usage. I cannot recommend this monitor for any serious user. Only for limited office use. Recent update: Joystick knob practically stopped to work. It constantly shows me that the power knob is locked. I cannot turn off this monitor and going to throw it away. It is garbage after only4 months of usage. Do not buy this monitor as well as any with joystick knob.
