I do NOT recommend buying this monitor. I bought mine in January, and in March, the left edge and bottom left corner developed a defect. LG serviceman came, and said this is due to mishandling! Warranty does not cover! After continued use of the monitor, discoloration of the panel appeared, and the edge started to bulge. LG still will not honor the warranty! Last LG product that I will buy. I liked it when it worked.

Started to gain severe image ghosting after 12 months. 15 months after purchase black horizontal lines appeared while in use. They cover the entire screen evenly. They overlap everything and remain after restarting the monitor. I contacted LG. Since I was 3 months out of warranty, they suggested I find someone to repair in the YellowPages. It was difficult to interact with LG since their email ticket system shows many ways to reply but many do not work. Loved the monitor otherwise, but not worth a $1000 investment if dies after a year of use.

I ordered this product last February, 2017. About six months later, I got a straight black line on the top of my monitor, suggesting that something was wrong, but not enough to get the display repaired. Today, two months after the warranty expired, the entire left side of the monitor became corrupted (blinks rapidly with area of gray and white). What a disappointment! Colors are great, but year durability of this product is unacceptable. Particularly for an $850 price point. If you buy one, I would definitely purchase the $10-20 insurance extension from Amazon, and you can punt these types of issues right back to them.

It has rather terrible ghosting/display burning. LGs repair cost nears replacement cost and their warranty for this price point are very short so you end up stuck with an unfortunately expensive monitor.
