I thought the name HP would mean this was a decent monitor. I wanted a HP monitor with sound and purchased this due to its low price and mostly good reviews. After setting this up as a second monitor, I found that compared to my ancient Gateway monitor, this had poor color quality and basically looked super cheap. I knew at this point that I had made a mistake and should have just spent more money. Then I was unable to get the speakers to come on, but after several hours of trouble-shooting, I finally got sound...terrible quality sound. But, the sound seemed to come and go, and I only got the speakers working twice, before I just gave up on that. Overall, if you just need a very cheap monitor, dont care about sound or image quality, go for it. Otherwise, spend more so you can get exactly what you want.
