This is NOT compatible with Macs that are older than 2018 or 2017... I had to buy, install, troubleshoot and then call tech support to find that out. Lots of trouble and lots of wasted time that could have been avoided by them telling us in the product information before buying.
Do not buy this monitor. I use this monitor for work. Actually, I use three of them lined up. Ive gone through about 7 of them over the past 2 years. This last one was hooked up just one week ago and its already bad. What happens is that the words or the icons (whatever is on the screen) starts to show double. Eventually it will get worse and go mostly black. I keep having to order them and then work reimburses me. When they die, I have no time to spare and order them quickly. Today Im switching to another. Its not the case that one bad one got through. They ALL have this problem.
