+Solid build. It has a sturdy enough plastic shell, which should be more than enough to protect the insides from damage under normal use. +Portable. The entire PC is roughly the size of a piece of thick-sliced bread, so you should have no problems finding room for it in your travel bag. If you want, you would even be able to carry it in the back pocket of your jeans. It is even really light in weight, so it wouldnt weigh down anymore than a full wallet. +Comes with every plug necessary to properly connect devices. A USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 port on the side, a microSD slot on the same side as well (all of which can be used to either transfer files or add additional space to the 32GBs that comes pre-installed), a microUSB port on the back, as well as an audio jack and an ethernet port. +Very quiet. No fan means no noise and it doesnt even get hot at all. +Can do a lot. Yes, it is limited in what it can do, which is to be expected considering it is a $120 mini PC. If you expect to be able to play top quality video games, then this isnt the product, nor the price range for you. That being said, according to canyourunit, the GPU is able to meet the minimum requirements of 30% of the top 7,000 PC games and the recommended requirements of 9% of the top 7,000 PC games, which is better than I would have expected. On top of that, it can easily do all of the basics, such as surfing the web, watching videos, checking email, and doing schoolwork. +My only real complaint is that this is not Wifi ac compatible, but you can buy an external ac adapter and just plug it in via the USB port, or you can just use a wired connection via LAN. One side note, if you connect it to a TV, it is likely that some of the edges will be cropped out. This can be easily fixed by turning off overscan in your television settings. If there is no overscan option on your TV, then you can adjust the screen on the PC, via the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel after you update it to the latest version.

Note: This is a W8 Pro , There is no such thing as a T8 (just look at ACEPC website) I was able to remove windows and install Debian Linux without any issues. I now have a very fast Mini PC server for development. make sure your bootable USB stick is installed before going into BIOS, otherwise it will not see the drive.

I bought this to build a little emulating machine that I could carry with me and this thing had a decent price and a good amount of ports. My use-case is a little bit different from other people, but I can talk about some of the things that Ive noticed using this so far. -Pros- 1. The device comes with a legit copy of windows (mine had Windows 10 home). The box says 8 pro, but the inside says Windows 10. They probably updated the machine after it was made. 2. The device makes zero noise and the unit itself doesnt seem to get that hot even with a ton of stuff open. 3. Tons of ports: micro usb, usb 2.0, usb 1.0, sd card reader, ethernet, and hdmi. 4. Very light. I can throw this in the bag and it doesnt add a lot of space or weight to my bag. 5. Decent processor, which seems to be able to handle video streaming fine, although youll probably need to use a wired connection for higher playback quality. 6. Reliable Bluetooth connection 7. Great performance with the gpu for retro games Cons 1. Wifi is a little dated, so you wont be able to connect to 5.0ghz signals. Youre better off connecting this to lan which is what I ended up doing. 2. Small storage: youll be left with 15gb after you finish setup. This wasnt a problem for me because my roms are on a micro sd card, but I wanted to mention it here.

I have nothing but good things to say about this pc. - Small, size of 2 playing card packs side by side. - Quiet, I dont hear it at all. Has fast boot up time (10-15 seconds) and has the power to do anything but game. We use it for word, internet, music, but especially streaming. This PC handles any kind of streaming you want, biggest limiter for my family is the internet speed we have. The only downside I would say is the limited harddrive. If your looking for a small, quiet streaming box that can also do word/internet this is the perfect PC

My home has a traditional TV in my living room. I really can not choose what I want to watch. I can not use to listen the music and watch YouTube video. After I bought this Window box, it makes my old TV transfer to a nice smart TV. It comes with a Window box, Power cable and HDMI cable. The windows box has 2GB RAM and 32GB storage which can upgrade to 128GB. The 4K resolution gives very clear video. The Ethernet port on the window box will provide more faster internet speed than wireless Wi-Fi. The two USB port can connect with keyboard, mouse or external storage as well. Now I have another "computer" in home, which can watch TV, YouTube Video, search Internet, listen music. It makes my life much easier. Kindly reminder, this is not window box for gaming !

First off, this isnt a gaming computer. If you expect this to act like an 800 dollar PC, youre going to be disappointed. That being said, it works extremely well for what it is. I had no issues out of the box aside from it being a tad slow. Once all of the updates were downloaded and applied and Windows was cleaned of its initial bloat, the system saw a significant speed increase. It performs well with web browsing and general operating system tasks and doesnt delay much when opening programs or asking Windows to perform tasks. It does only have 32GB of hard drive space, so youll need to make sure you clean up the disk space after all of the Windows Updates (Windows is notorious for not cleaning up after itself). I also went through and disabled some of the un-needed services to free up resources. Even with the system getting hammered with installing updates and such, the little box remains relatively cool (its still warm, but nothing outrageous). I had no issues playing 1080p mkv files or mp4 files as well as 1080p content from Twitch and Youtube. 4K video was hit or miss, so Im not quite sure its powerful enough for 4K. All in all, its a nice little machine and it will suit my need perfectly as a little computer to hook to my projector as a portable movie computer.

I bought this mini pc for couple reasons and found my expectations are met. If I need a lot of memory or very fast processor then I wont need this, and probably buy a i3 instead. The main reasons are: * mini size. Very portable, its just slightly greater than a cup coaster, it can be fit in a jacket pocket without problem. And most of the hotels around are now equipped with HDTV that has hdmi input, so you can hook it up easily with your travel. * of course Windows friendly. It is installed with windows 10 home. The version I found out on mine is 1709. So the familiar windows apps can still be run on this mini pc. * adequate and power enough for most use. Streaming and watch videos I found no problem. Office applications are ok. Internet browsing is also fast enough and responsive. Of course dont expect you can open 20 tabs. Im surprised with its performance even it has only 2gb ram. * usb 3.0 port. I am happy it comes with built in wifi and a usb 3.0 port. The internal flash storage is ok, not fast like the ssd nor harddrive. So the usb 3.0 port comes in handy to expand storage and maybe it can used to connect some drives and use this mini pc to server as mini file server. Box runs little warm but not hot. Satisfied with this mini windows box overall. Price is ok for me while its still under 100 and have windows installed. It is activated with no problem.

I am using this to run a picture frame. I have had it running for several weeks now. It does what I wanted it to. I have it set up to run a slide show in a 4x3 part of the screen and the time, calendar, and current and forecasted weather in the other part. On a side note I dont like how some of the larger WiFi picture frames are 16x9 when pictures are still shot 4x3. I have it configured to allow me to upload pictures to it via WiFi. I am using a free program that allows me to do this from anywhere.

I bought it for my wife playing meditation deep sleep music from Youtube at night. The most important feature was me the fanless operation and the Windows for my wife (which cost me a lot of money compare to a simple Rasbberry Pi module:). If you know the limitation of the unit, it is a good selection. Its power is just enough to play Youtube videos, and not more. If you want a flawless operation of the Windows 10, you need some trick to slow down the continuous system update, or you need an additional SD card. It can drive native mode a 4K monitor or TV set over its HDMI output, but because of the limited CPU power it is advisable to use it only in Full HD mode. But basically it does what the manual say.

Having gone through a generation of mini-laptops with the Atom processors running W7, I knew pretty much what to expect. I needed a PC for my workbench that would have limited uses (in-system programming interfaces, document lookup, the occasional video/microscope shot), so Im not expecting to write the Great American Novel or run CFD simulations. Out of the box it configured just fine and I was off and running. I used a $7 HDMI/VGA adapter to use it on my old monitor and the image quality at 1200 x 800 is great for stills/video. This boots up a bit slowly and may take a while to perform system functions - it is what it is, but for everyday use its just fine and doesnt seem to suffer from any thermal issues. The only hazard is that it looks like a coaster and I may put my coffee on it to keep it warm (and you know what happens next...). As an offhand test, it plays music and videos from online with no apparent lag using the built in WiFi and prints to our wireless networked computers without complaint. -->> Heres a useful tip - go to O & O software (I think Amazon wont let you post URLs, but you can search it) and pick up these two free apps: "O&O Shut Up 10" and "O&O Appbuster". The first of these will get rid of Microsofts constant user-data monitoring and silence useless stuff like Cortana. The second will allow you to uninstall most of the bloatware that these things ship with (unless you *really* like CandyCrush or something). These will open up a good deal of disk space. I use them in all of my W10 machines. After using these and with my apps, Firefox/Chrome and a few others, Im at 14GB left of the 28 GB available, and have put a 32GB card in the slot so this is good to go for the foreseeable future. The only weirdness so far is the MS "Edge" (alleged) browser that shipped with it would open, then disappear - weird - so I called up Internet Explorer 11 from the menu bar and used that to download and install useful browsers from there.
