I received my Ring Light yesterday from Amazon (2 days after I ordered it). It was nicely packed, and comes with a nice carrying bag. I have investigated a number of such products in Amazon, and I find the ESDDI Ring Light to be exactly what I needed. It gives me the flexibly of providing uniform light coming straight from my camera’s point of view eliminating strong harsh shadow like those you get using a regular flash. The Ring Light set comes with a very study stand with adjustable height, making it very suitable for a main light or a fill light. It also comes with a flexible extender bracket which may be used to extend the height of the light stand. A hot shoe stand (provided) can be mounted on the lamp’s hot shoe receptacle, allowing me to attach my DSLR camera on it or my smart phone (Samsung Edge S7) using the phone clip (also provided) centered at the Ring Light (see attached pictures). The Ring Light features a control for Color Temperature adjustment (3200K to 5600K) ranging from Soft (or Warm) White to Daylight lighting environment. What I also find very useful is a second control to adjust the light Intensity which together with the Color Temperature control, allows me to create almost any lighting conditions - from cozy intimate to bright vibrant and crisp invigorating ambience. From my experience I can see that the light is most useful for both professional and amateur use. It is not only a great add-on to any studio lighting systems, but is and very suitable for home use, such as U-Tubing videos or still shots. Best of all, the kit is very inexpensive while providing the functionalities of the more expensive kits in the market. I highly recommend the product.

This ring light is AWESOME. I use it for selfies and recording my youtube videos. Its so bright that it literally lights up my entire dorm room. The assembly instructions werent too helpful, but assembly was generally pretty straightforward so I didnt need them very much. The only thing you have to be mindful of is the power cord; the end that connects to the back of the ring light is very sensitive, and if you shift/wiggle it just a little bit, the light will go off. But other than that, this light was an excellent purchase!

I’m a hobbyist photographer and just getting started with learning how to use lighting, but from what I can tell, this is a solidly built ring light that puts out a good amount of light. This is my first time using a light like this, so I’m excited to learn and interested to see how the light performs over time. The product itself arrived quickly and was packaged well. I’ve used some of ESDDI’s other products in the past, like their speedlights, and I’ve been really impressed with them. Their products seem to be comparable to other much more expensive products 2 to 3 times the price in both build quality and performance. ESDDI support has also been super responsive to my questions, so I know that they care about their products and their customers’ experiences.

I got this for my daughters sweet 16 birthday party for her friends to make a home made "photo booth" and take fun selfies to post online later. Physically the light appeared to be brand new, but when I turned it on there was an audible buzzing noise, and the light would flicker. There was not enough time for me to get a replacement before the party! It was very disappointing because all her friends were looking forward to doing their own photo shoots. Skip this item, you will be disappointed! Bad quality; poor workmanship!

Great light for indoor Vlogging. It’s powerful enough to reduce your camera’s ISO from a few thousands to less than 200, and reduces picture noises significantly. It is also easy to setup, and has multiple levels in temperature and power settings to meet different demand.

I ordered this product to use for my family parties and events at my house. I always set up a unique backdrop at all of my events to take cool pictures. It started getting very frustrating that despite having a $1000 camera, the lighting was still not good. So I searched for good ring lights and came across this one. I went with this one because it had the option to adjust the color temperature which is very useful for me because I also have to take a lot of product photography for my business. The ring light came with a nice bag to put the ring in not the actual tripod. The package included: Ring Light, Tripod, Power Cable, Phone Holder Attachment, Carry Bag The light works amazing. It lets you change the brightness and works very well. Also, the temperature change feature works great and it is very useful. I change it to white when taking photos of my products and warm when taking pictures at a family gathering. I realized that I will need one more of these in order for my pictures with the backdrop to be perfect so I have already ordered another one from Amazon. One recommendation that I would make for this company is to add a remote for easier accessibility for changing the brightness, temperature, and turning on and off.

Brought this to use for microblading and taking pictures afterward. Easy set up. Love that you can change the cool and warmth of the light without having to remove or replacing the filter cover like other ring light out there. And the fact that you get a free selfie light for your phone is an added bonus.

This is my first right light. Compare to point light. It offers better uniformity for close-up portrait. The color temperature is adjustable as well as the light intensity. It’s very easy to setup the tripod and mounting the light. This is a good budget studio light for cellphone based portrait shooting. Be aware that the light projection distance is not very far, so I would say a party of three or less is ideal. Overall, it’s an interesting light with potentials.

Im a small business craft maker and purchased this item for photography for listings on etsy and FB. I got tired of waiting for early morning, clear skies to minimize shadows and reduce the amount of editing needed. Since I also work a day job, morning photography is only an option on the weekends. Package arrived on time, 2 days as expected. It was packed in a compact box, meaning little shifting while in transit. Inside the box were two things - one smaller box with the tripod and another carrying case with the ring light, all in perfect condition. Took about 3 minutes to assemble - if I remember correctly, two parts need to be screwed in, and one plugged in. Thats it. Quick and easy set up!! Now to actual performance. The light is amazing!!! Easy to operate -literally 2 controls - one for brightness and one for warmth. This is perfect for indoor photography and the tone of the picture in looking for! The head is adjustable - so I can have light directly over the product instead of coming from the side. This means no ugly shadows. The height is adjustable too and can get way higher than needed. Folds down to be pretty compact for storage, but I may also use this as a light for working too, making it double purpose. Happy with the purchase and so excited I finally bit the bullet and purchased it. Wish I had done it months ago instead of constantly struggling with lighting.
