The tv screen will sometimes go black but I can still hear sound. I have to turn it off and on one or more times before its back to normal. This has been happening since day one. I know its not because of the brand because I have another Element tv I bought years ago from Wal-Mart and it works just fine.
I received the tv in the original box along with stand and remote AAA needed, it works fine, sound could be better, nothing speakers wont fix. I havent owned it long but for what I got at the price I did, if it holds up its a keeper.
Had a Vizeo 26" TV in my 5th wheel camper and it worked great. When you run the air conditioning, most TVs will be hard to hear so I connected some small computer-type speakers via the 3.5" audio jack and sound was fine. The 32" Element replaced the smaller Vizeo for size. I bought it at Walmart because it was cheap and the picture was good. Turns out the sound is woefully inadequate even with the A/C off! I purchased a cheap soundbar here on Amazon and hope it cures the lack of volume. You can hardly hear the TV sitting 5 away with nothing running in the background with the built in speakers. Would have given the TV 5 stars if I could hear it.
