I received the package & it looked like it was open & returned for some reason. After setting up the 13" TV & connecting a digital antenna. I found the picture was very clear, a larger version of my Cell Phone picture, and is visible from any place in the room. If the signal strength was strong the sound was very load. There are many adjustments that can be made to the picture quality, sound quality, Auto Channel Scan, Clock adjustments, & input sources. I was able to pull in 33 different free channels. I connected it to my old VHS player with VGA connectors picture looks great. Tried out my old DVD player HDMI connector & picture looks great. I connected the sound up to an external sound system, using the Left & Right sound outputs and the sound works great. I am not fond of vertical DVD players, but I tried out the builtin DVD player, it works great, the picture & sound was great, has simulated surround sound. I tried out an analog security camera connected to the Video input, picture looks great. My only disappointment was I was I wanted an output signal to connect to an external record DVD player to record TV programs & Security Camera. The TV has only inputs no outputs. This is a great TV, I plan on getting another one for my other rooms, perhaps larger.

I read many reviews on flat screens before buying this one. I disagree with the reviews that say the volume is not loud enough. I like loud and I didnt have this tv even at 1/2 of what it could put out. I was VERY happy with that, since I did buy a little cd player that full volume couldnt do it for me. Color, etc.,,,very happy! It is a small screen, which is the only size that would fit the way I wanted in my kitchen, but Im VERY happy with it! I had a bit of a problem with the built in dvd player, but after calling support,,,,the woman quickly fixed the problem. Unlike most dvd players,,,I was putting the dvd in the wrong way. <sigh> But,,a very quick fix from someone very knowledgeable,,,so again,,,I was happy! Not ALL support gets the answer right away! I was soooo impressed! Its only 2 days,,but I love it and I cant wait to put my dvds in the right way and watch some good Netflix movies while cooking. *;)

I purchased the 15.6" Wide Screen HD LED TV with DVD Player for $124 in May 2017. I used it to view DVDs while I exercised. It worked OK until December 2017 when the sound through both the internal speakers and the earphone jack developed a background hum and voices became distorted to the point where they were barely understandable. The TV/DVD is unusable in its present state. When the unit broke, I read the warranty in detail and found that the 1 year parts warranty is basically useless because I would have to pay shipping to return the TV for service, include a money order for $49 to cover return shipping, and pay $50 per hour for the repair service. Add that up, even for a minimum 1 hour service charge, and it is more than the purchase price for the unit, so I wont be sending it back for service. It looks like, even if the unit had broken within the 90 day period for labor warranty, I would still have to pay shipping both ways, which would be much more than half the purchase price. So, be warned. At first glance, this TV/DVD seems to have a reasonable warranty, but, in reality, if your unit malfunctions, you will find it not worthwhile to send it back for repair.

Hard to find, incredible multi-media input device. Perfect for cabins, vacation spots, and vehicle. All of todays media supported except Blue Ray and some codecs for playing movies via USB drive. Nifty SD card drive works for viewing trail cam pics and video. USB for download for music that you could transmit to a higher quality Bluetooth speaker via a Bluetooth transceiver plugged in the headphone jack (would strongly recommend this type of set- up given marginal sound quality for the internal speakers). CD/DVD player great....both video and music. Input for video grames both RCA and HDMI..... wow....what doesnt this item have except Blue-ray?!!

The scrre resolution is ok, if you sit 2 feet from it (just as well, because even turned up all the way, you cant hear it much further away than that). I have no idea what some of the buttons on the remote do (and good luck finding anything in the manual that comes with it). To use the dvd player, you have to put them in (FORCE them in) upside-down, then navigate through 3 menus to get it to play (and the volume goes down!). The sound quality is equal to listening to something through a tin can. And to really top it off, you could probably get something better from Walgreens. Not worth it.

Nice Little TV. Fits Perfectly Where It Was Intended To Go. Sound Volume Is Not Great. Would Have Been Better If The Coaxial Cable, HDMI Port, Etc. Were On Side Instead Of Bottom Of Unit. It Causes You To Bend Cable Which Could Cause Future Connection Issues.DVD Player did not work at all but did not find out till it was too late to return.((Check it right away to avoid issues.) Picture quality is so-so, not great. No eject button for DVD Player.

Received the TV today. Purchased for inclusion in travel trailer, the old CRT TV gave up the ghost. PROS: Everything works well but I am old and may not be able to hear it, very low volume but will add a pair of computer speakers to increase volume. DVD, digital photo album and music work well. CONS: I like digital movies on a thumb drive or SD card. I could not get it to play digital movies in any format: MP4, AVI, MWV using USB or SD card slots, had to resort to Media Player through HDMI to get them to work. Would have been nice not to need the additional peaces of equipment (WD TV and Computer speakers (I may use Bluetooth transmitter and wireless head phone instead) but it does work. Overall a good product for the price but a small TV may have worked as well but I will not send this one back, 6 one way half dozen the other. Just wanted to warn us techies that digital Movie wont work on USB or SD Card.

I struggle to know how to review this. My own need was for a 12VDC monitor to use with my cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy S4, effectively turning the phone into a desktop computer when paired with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. This does do that, using a CyberTech 6.5 Feet MHL Micro USB to Hdmi 1080p Hdtv Adapter Cable for Samsung Galaxy S3 S4 S5 Note 2 Note 3 and Samsung Tablet Tab 3, Tab S, Tab Pro, Note Pro . It took rooting the phone so I could lower the dpi resolution (dots per inch) dynamically to make it work well though, otherwise the UI of the phone is *huge* on this screen. I can also play movies from the phone to the monitor. Here are my thoughts: - The quality of the picture is just ok. For less money you can get a full (1080p) HD monitor with HDMI inputs and a better picture. Dont expect this to look like an iPad screen or even a $120 ASUS monitor. Some may find it poor, while others will be quite happy - depends on you: if you dont see the reason to go to Blu-Ray over DVD, then this will make you happy. If your idea of acceptable is a retina display on a Macbook, then you will not be happy at all. - Viewing angle is narrow for optimum picture. - The DVD player works. In this day and age it should have been a Blu-Ray, but it does work. - The mass storage options are really only useful for music and photos - it will not recognize an MP4, for example. - The stand is not adjustable nor removable without using a screw driver. It does not fold out of the way, so you cant easily transport this in a messenger bag (for example) without removing the stand. - I could not get USB2 (the side slot) to recognize any devices. - The sound is ok - not any better than a cell phone speaker, but ok. So, about buying this just because it runs on 12 volts DC for use in a car or RV. Heres a tip: virtually all small electronics run on DC current - that is what the power adapter does - converts 110V AC to DC - and lots of power adapters are stupid ones without anything sophisticated in them. If you know the voltage, amperage requirement and polarity, you can usually just buy something like this: HDE Universal Laptop/Netbook Car Charger with interchangeable connector pins to power a good old regular monitor (or LED TV) with better resolution at less cost. The problem is that without looking at the monitor itself, you dont know these requirements for sure because they are never in the specifications, although they are always labeled on the monitor itself where the power adapter plugs in. But lots of monitors actually run on 12VDC or 19VDC natively. If all you want is a monitor with speakers and an HDMI port that you can power in a car or RV without an inverter, then go to a store and check the actual power requirements and dont buy this. But if you want something this size that has the built-in DVD and TV tuner and an HDMI port, well then there isnt a lot of competition out there as near as I can tell without going to specialty stuff that is quite expensive - so then this is an ok product that meets those needs at a reasonable price. I will probably grumble a bit but keep it. But I grumble about many things. Of course if you have a laptop already, then just use that with a 12V adapter for heavens sake, and simply buy a USB tuner if you want to receive broadcast television.

The first one sent had a smashed screen and could not be plugged in. The replacement tv was found to be useless for viewing channels such as netflix etc without using additional components, even though it was featured with the smart tvs. I was a fool to even consider purchasing this item.

A dvd got stuck in the DVD player the 2nd time I put one in!!!! It wouldn’t eject, but would play. Finally got it out to rescue the dvd but now it won’t even let me load a dvd. Going to try and send it back, but I don’t have the original box anymore. :(
