rooCase make the best products. I used one on my iPad 1 and it still looks good after 3 years of use. They hold up well and offer just enough padding to protect yet still thin and flexible for practicality. They are also very rich looking. I am still complimented often on my old one. The one that I ordered for the Galaxy tab is simple black, for a boy, but it is the same concept. Its very rich looking and seems to offer plenty of protection, have the right cut outs, etc. Plus it comes w/a pen/stylus combo. Even better. I hope they keep making them and also go back to offering the camel color, it looks very nice.

This was purchased for my Tab, not as a gift. There are things I like, and a few improvements I feel could be made. Overall though I think its definitely worth the price. The good: 1. The folio fits the Tab 3 very well. Theres no sliding around, no odd angles sticking out, no forcing the tablet into the case. You slide it in from the side and secure it by tucking a leather tab with Velcro under the tablet itself. The leather surrounding the tablet is actually SEPARATE from the "binder" front and back, and the binder part covers everything (except the pen, that is). 2. The folds are quite pliable without being flimsy. I can fold the front all the way around and lay the tablet flat, instead of having it propped at an angle by creases that wont fold all the way flat. 3. Good quality, the material has a nice feel and its very easy to clean when needed. 4. The magnet closure is strong enough to keep the case closed but not so strong that Id be worried about my electronics. 5. The boards inside are nice and rigid so I dont worry about curling/folding/warping of the case. Its pretty sturdy. 6. Keyhole cutout for the camera is just big enough that it does not encroach into pictures... unless of course you happen to misalign the camera to the hole (see iffy #1). The iffy: 1. I expected there to be a swivel or some sort of connection for the tablet to pivot, but instead the case part has a strip of Velcro that attaches it to the binding... you can figure out the two parts of the case by looking at the last picture. What makes this iffy is a) its hard to re-align the camera holes, and b) Im worried that the Velcro will wear out with time. 2. The stylus is kinda in the way for the volume and power buttons. 3. This wasnt an issue to me, but for other shoppers: there is not a keyboard (nor room for one) and the tablet will NOT automatically turn on and off when you open/close the folio. 4. The stylus is difficult to get in and out of its little elastic loop. Theres not much more that they can do about this except perhaps use a stretchier elastic, but for that reason I dont use the stylus very often. The pen writes like a typical BIC pen - utilitarian, not a smooth-flowing pricier pen (I imagine it will hold a standard-sized ink cartridge).

Overall this is a good product. It look great and looks like it will offer a fair amount of protection. I primarily got this case to help my tablet blend in at the office at it accomplishes that goal very well. I also have come to love the stylus that is included. I have never used anything but my finger on a touch screen device until I received this and I doubt I will go back, no more finger smudges on the screen! The only problem I have with the case so far is that the table seems to sit just a bit low in the case. All of the ports that are cut into the case seem to be about 1.5mm to low. I would normally have sent an accessory back for something like this, but all it took to fix it was about 10 seconds with some scissors and the case still looks like it is brand new. Pros: • Free Stylus(love it!) • Excellent business looking case • Doubles as a tablet stand with 3 different positions • Very affordable price Cons • Adds quite a bit of bulk to the table(doubles the thickness) • Doesnt add corner protection • Some of the ports dont line up properly, mainly the one for the IR Blaster. • Seemingly useless sd card slots, case doesnt close properly when a card is in either slot. Overall great case that I would recommend to a friend. I doubt a better case can be found for this price.

Fits Perfectly for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Tablet Stands up Slip Free Only thing to watch out for is that its not too easy to pull down the notification screen, because the cover covers it a little too much. But I have Big Hands Too... What I do is use the Pen or Push Up the Cover a little to Pull it down. Aside from that it works Perfectly.

After reading multiple reviews for various Galaxy Tab 3 cases I decided on this one because of the many great honest and descriptive reviews. This product consists of 3 removable parts; the actual cover/sleeve for the Galaxy Tab 3, the case/stand, and the stylus/pen. Both the case and sleeve are made of a soft synthetic leather. The device sleeve fits inside the case perfectly and is secured with velcro on the right hand side. Also on the outside of the right hand side of the case is an elastic loop for the stylus. There is, what appears to me a thin magnetic strip on the left hand side of the case and on the right hand side of the sleeve. When the clover is closed closed the magnet secures itself to the sleeve to prevent it from flopping open. On the inside of the case on the left hand side there are 3 different grooves which are used for helping the device to stand up. The device fits perfectly into the sleeve while still allowing access to all of the devices buttons including an opening on the back of the sleeve and the case for taking pictures or videos. While the top corners of the device are covered by the sleeve the bottom ones are not. Once the device is placed in the sleeve I wouldnt recommend removing it very often, as it appears the frequent removal of the device from the sleeve could potential bend the sleeve or cause it damage. The velcro securely fastens the sleeve to the case although a little bit of care should be taken to make sure that you line it up properly so that cameral lense can be seen through the back of the case. Standing the device up horizontally is easy as flipping open the case and allowing the the left hand side of the device to sit behind one of the grooves. The left hand case flap can be moved 18 degrees. Because velcro is used to hold the device, it can be adjusted to various angles for viewing the screen both horizontally and vertically. Setting up the device vertically does requires a bit of tinkering to achieve the right balance. The stylus comes in handy as the eraser end has a soft rubber tip which allows it to be used instead of your finger. Im not sure why this stylus doubles as a pen. My specific review of the rooCase Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Case. Pros: 1. I like the velcro for adjusting the screen for viewing when standing it up, especially when horizontal. 2. The magnetic strip on the case and sleeve ensures the case closes completely. 3. The sleeve fits perfectly allowing access to all of the buttons and the camera. 4. The addition of the stylus andd its elastic holder is a plus. 5. The case and sleeve material give it a very professional look and feel. 6. The case is probably the least bulky one on the market. 7. The cost is much cheaper than other cases out there. Cons: 1. Can be tricky when standing the device vertically. 2. No protective covering for the bottom corners of the device by the sleeve. 3. The pen on the stylus is unnecessary. 4. Need to take special care when putting the sleeve in the case to ensure that it lines up correctly for a proper fit. Overall I would recommend this Case over other cases on the market. the only real draw back is when standing it up vertically. It can be done but it does take a bit of manipulating. This isnt a real problem since videos are watched when the device is horizontal.

A perfect and snug fit. The pen stylus is the right size & writes smoothly no leaky ink. I love the fact that the product can switch from horizontal to vertical I am very satisfied with this product.

Just ok, you get what you pay for. This rooCase is flimsy, already losing its wear on the velcro tabs which keeps it in place. However, at the time, I did not want to spend a lot of money on a case while purchasing the tablet pc. I opted for this with "temporary" in mind. Its been less than a month and I am ordering a much nicer case with bluetooth keyboard and all the buttons and whistles today. Doesnt make sense not to protect an item that I need to use a lot. Also mine did not come with the stylus as promised. It looks like this might have been a return; I did not even contact seller because I knew I would be buying an upgrade. This rooCase is not durable enough for long term use.

Really like the portrait and landscape adjustability. Tablet holder velcros off and flips around, super simple. My negatives are how thick the case is. Super protective top and bottom, you could almost use it as a pillow. Corners not so much. You can see in the pictures that there is no material protecting the corners. Also, the tablet does fit in the case just fine, but it is hard to get the settings bar to pull down as the top of the case is a millimeter or two too long. Also, the vendor includes a useless pen that doubles as a pen and stylus. The loop that holds it can get in the way of adjusting the volume as does the little strap that separates the power and volume buttons. Sounds like a lot of negatives but its not a bad case, but could use some changes.
