Great little projector.. ive had much larger and more expensive projectors so i didnt expect much from this little guy at such an affordable price. I am pleasantly surprised how bright this thing is and how good the picture is. Colors look great right out of the box and even though it doesnt have all the bells and whistles automatically it performs great. Only draw back is the remote. It works fine but without it .. its useless. Such a nice quality to depend on a simple remote makes me a little nervous. I wish it would just boot to the last imput automatically. But for the money.. im more than satisfied. I will buy the Q38 as soon as it goes on sale. It has the remote built into the chassis. Otherwise same great quality unit.. with a little better resolution but dont get me wrong.. this little guy resolution is just fine. 720P looks great. I use a bendable tripod over the headboard of my bed and shine it on tge ceiling to watch Netflix and lying down in bed is really comfortable. No neck strain or sitting up to see the tv. Even in daylight it is watchable.. not bad at all as long as it keeps working at this priceis a bargain. This is probably one of the best micro projectors on the market. Even when its on my headboard.. even though i can hear the fan cooling the unit it stays the same speed and is not loud enough in my opinion to be distracting. My wife and i quickly tune it out.

This seems to be a good product and I received it (actually two of them) on time and in good shape. However there were no instructions on how to set them up and we are still figuring it out after a day and a half. Thanks to the wonder of YouTube we are progressing. I even found a copy of the Instruction manual on line but it was only moderately helpful. By the way, the instruction manual is supposedly on loaded onto the instrument.. But I found that out on line as well. Also, we need to load an app on both the box and a cell phone and there seem to be a few choices. So we are still plodding along. I think it is a great product and I would buy it again, but it would be a good idea for the refurbished to write up a set of useful instructions to help us digitally challenged folk out.

I did not expect much from this project due to it is a refurbished model. I needed something to do my presentation and is small enough to just through it into my bag and go. Picture wise, it is bright enough in a lighted room. People can read the projected image and read the words clearly with direct light shinning above us. To be honest, you do not want to use the Android that came with the projector, instead, use a HDMI cable or Google Chromecast or Miracast will be a better idea. The Android is usable but it is not pleasant. I do not under why manufacturers want to put an OS inside a projector but it is not necessary. The sound is tiny, barely can be heard in a crowd of 10 people. It became twisted when put at 100% volume. The included battery lasts around 2 hours, a bit less than 2 hours actually. It is long enough for my Bible Study group. Why I give it a 5 stars rating? Because, when projecting images, you want "BRIGHTNESS" instead of other added features. This projector provides bright enough image for a small crowd presentation and that is the most important of all functions.

Wow, this is a solid, well built, impresive projector. I have try a few of the budget projecttors...and then I saw this one refurbished at a good price and wanted to give it a try. Just wow, great wifi connection, Bluetooth works great. Picture can be focused from remote. Its not super , super Brite, but you can see it in a medium lite room. One con, andriod 4,5,2 old os , would love to update osv (I think I will root.and update) if you want a low cost, great projector. Try , I think youll like it. PS, I get a clear crisp picture of about 120 inches.

The seller was good. My remote wasnt working and they agreed to send another one. They were quick to respond as well. The product itself is not particularly user friendly - you have to have the remote for it to work. Or, you can connect a wireless keyboard/mouse. It doesnt allow me to access my youtube account, and doesnt have a good screen share. However, the video itself is pretty good in terms of what I am streaming (netflix, individual youtube videos). overall, the product itself met my expectations and was worth the price, though it may disappoint those looking for a super user friendly, high quality projector.

I bought this refurb unit and it arrived with many scratch marks showing that this unit has been used for quite a bit already, usually this was not the case for the refurbs i bought which are nearly new. I got this mainly after been wondering for a long time on how well the LED projector of a much smaller size compared against the much bigger size lamp projector. Even though the lumens of this projector is only 500 compared to the lamp projector which I already own which is 2000 lumens, the picture quality (in the dark room) are quite comparable. However the fan noise is higher pitch due to its smaller size and having to spin at much higher rpm. Both types of projector still performs unsatisfactorily in room with partial lights on. In this area LED TV still the best.

I brought this projector a year ago at Best Buy and fell in love with it I mostly used it for my art work. Somehow my toddler got ahold of the remote and the buttons were destroyed. This projector can’t be used without it. I searched high and low looking for a replacement remote DONT BOTHER CALLING VIVTEK THEY WOMT ANSWER AND YOULL BE DIRECTED TO A VOICEMAIL. I found the same projector her on amazon and AGAIN the remote is no good I only encourage you to buy this brand new and never loose or break the remote!

I was excited a bout the projector, when turned on first time, picture was bright and crisp. Then found could do nothing with it without the remote. I thought maybe the battery dead, so bought another and still wouldnt work you would think they would test that before send from the reconditioning place? Returned Beach Camera was great to work with. Not their fault!

So far, during testing, I was impressed by the amount of light and the convenience of connecting multiple devices to it. I like the small size. I will try to remember to come back for more info AFTER I have used it in my first class session.
