Ok im sure many other reviews have all the specs you can read them from those im here to tell u it works as indicated. My pictures below are from an iphone 6s and in the dark it magnifies white light so the pictures do not reflect accurately with white light from the actual picture quality. The pictures come out in HD i have it just on a white painted wall so i can see a few spots where there were nail holes but its still amazing. The aquarium looks as if i have a giant one in my wall. The pictures u see here look much worse then the actual quality you will get but hopefully u get some understanding. The last 6 photos are with all my lights on. You can see the picture brightness is amazing. I know ppl need pictures to buy wish i could add more than 20. Everyone should have one of these. My projector is about 14 feet away from the wall. You can see my 3 22in. monitors below in some of the pictures. id say the screen is about 60-70inches. For 300 bucks this is far cheaper then an hd smart tv at this size. The projector sits on a camera tripod. The projector is much lighter than expected. Cant hear the fan at all. I have it right next to my bed and it has no noise, granted i have a 3.1 surround system around my bed that will envelope my hears with crsip sound of whatever i watch. Hope you all enjoy this as much as i do.

Lets start off with the best feature of this relatively low cost projector.... this thing is bright! I was looking for a projector to use as a full time entertainment system with either a Roku or Fire Stick that I could use at all times of the day without needing to keep the window blinds closed and after trying another more expensive (and more portable) device I decided to try this and Im so glad I did. The picture quality is really good and the colors are not washed out during the middle of the day with my 3 windows opened. Im currently using this against a semi yellowish flat wall and the picture quality is really good so I can only imagine the quality will be way better when I get a projection screen. The fan is not loud and you will only hear it if you are really close to the projector or when it revs up at shutdown to cool down the lamp. The not so great about this projector is the speaker... do yourself a favor and get an external speaker you can attach via the aux port as youll get crappy sound quality and will struggle to hear much of anything is a regular sized room.

Ive only had this projector about a month and used it for maybe 10 hours of actual running time, so there may be pros or cons I havent seen yet. I bought it mainly to show Power Point slides when teaching a Bible study. It has two big advantages over my older, cheaper projector: (a) The image is bright enough to be clearly visible in a well-lit room. The room where I teach has a bunch of fluorescent lights all controlled by one switch, so its either all on or all off. The image from this projector is clearly visible with a ceiling full of lights on. (b) It has a zoom, not a lot of range, but it gives some ability to size the image to the screen without having to move it back and forth on the table. The resolution on this is only SVGA, but thats plenty good for me. Mostly I show slides with a few lines of text and they show up very clear and distinct, easy to read. Occasionally I show a picture, and again, even full-screen images are very clear. I tried just playing with projecting a video and that also seemed fine. Oh, perhaps I should say that Ive been primarily using an HDMI cable. I also tried it with a standard monitor cable and I didnt notice any difference. It takes a bunch of different cables, I havent tried any others. The menu seems pretty easy to use, and in any case you dont access it much. The options are not very well documented, so you have to either guess what they mean from the one-line descriptions or experiment. For example, theres an "auto shut-off" option. I assumed this meant, if the image hasnt changed in X minutes it would turn off automatically, so like if you left the projector on and walked away it would turn itself off rather than burning out the bulb. But apparently theres nothing in there about "image hasnt change" or anything like that. It just shuts off after that time. So I set it to 20 minutes, and 20 minutes in to my first lecture with it, it just shut off. Then it wouldnt come back on. I had to unplug it and plug it back in. Im not saying its a bad feature, just would have been nice if there was some explanation of what all the functions do. I guess for most users, you just use the defaults and dont worry about all the fancy options.

Im in love with my ViewSonic projector! I spent a lot of time researching projectors that would give me a great picture quality for backyard movie viewing. The ViewSonic PJD5155 projector did not disappoint. The image quality its adjustable for clarity as well as for angle adjustment. At night the picture quality is crystal clear. I havent seen the picture quality in the mid afternoon since here in California the heat is scorching and I dont plan on ever watching a movie under the hot California sun; I have, however turned on a movie outside at 6:00 when the sun hasnt gone down yet and the picture quality is still great. Obviously the picture quality isnt as crisp and clear on the afternoon as it is in the pitch black of night, but its still great. There is also a picture mode setting so that you can automatically adjust your projected image/movie with some preset picture modes. I have left pictures to show the quality on both settings. There is one HDMI port on the back which is great for connecting things like The Amazon Firestick, Apple TV, your computer, etc. There is also a micro USB port and an audio out port. The only thing this projector is missing is Bluetooth. I did work around the Bluetooth issue by connecting a Bluetooth transmitter device I purchased into the audio out port of the projector. The transmitter made it so that the audio could connect with my Bluetooth beats pill speakers. The internal speaker on the projector woeks well; but for movies I prefer something that can go louder than what the projector speaker can put out. An absolutely fantastic device that I would recommend for anyone wanting to create a movie theater ambiance at home, or for presentations. I think youll find that you will be equally as impressed with this projector as I am. My movie screen I made from scratch is 7 feet high by 10 feet long for anyone who is wondering. This image is pretty big and looks great.

The image is great, menus are intuitive and the brightness is adequate even on eco mode. We purchased the WXGA high-resolution model for my Daughters mathematics classroom, unfortunately, Viewsonic packaged the lower quality SVGA model in a box labeled with WXGA. Amazon offered a return so we purchased another. The second one was the correct model, but the bulb began to flicker within a few hours of operation. We have arranged to return the second one once the first one is back at Amazon and the refund confirmed. We have already installed the infrastructure for this model and we like the image....but do we try it a third time? Not sure yet.

WOW, this really worked great. I have been researching for "outdoor models" for at least 3 weeks, and to be honest, there really wasnt one good website that really explained how projectors work. Im still new to it myself, but we just had our 9 year old sons birthday party on Saturday, and the projector looked fantastic! It was bright enough to use it at 6pm (east coast), and looked brilliant at 8:30p and on. I was a little worried about the the light getting to hot, but the fan did its job and it never faltered! While I was researching, this model kept coming up on the list, and again, I was worried about brightness, resolution, how big I could get the picture, so I just kind of winged it and I couldnt be more happy! So heres my list of parts and extras that I bought. Of course, this model projector, a NIERBO 150 Inch Projector Screen (really only needed a 120 inch one), and a TaoTronics Bluetooth 4.1 Transmitter / Receiver, 2-in-1 Wireless 3.5mm Adapter. I built my own screen stand out of simple pine and a couple heavy posts. If youd like more info on that, feel free to email me at gtrodgers1@yahoo.com. The screen looked great and the picture was fantastic. The TaoTronics Bluetooth receiver was so I could use my large Bluetooth speaker for the audio. It was all very simple to set up, and the party went off without a hitch. My son and his friends had a blast playing Fortnite on the XBOX One on a huge screen. Nice work ViewSonic!

This was actually a pretty good projector for what I used it for. The bulb was bright enough to use in a lit room and the resolution was great from a few feet away, but there were 2 main issues. First, there were a few spots on the lens which weren’t too noticeable when the lens was focused but it did leave a few blurred “shadows” on the picture and the sound was laughably low but that was easily rectified with a set of pc speakers. I used this maybe once a week since I got it in August and now in the beginning of December, it won’t stay on for more than a few seconds at a time. I have it connected to my Nintendo Switch and when it goes out, I can pick up the Switch and keep playing so I know it’s not an external device issue. The projector just shuts down and the red light next to the bulb icon and the heat icon start flashing red. It’s completely unacceptable to only be able to use it for a few seconds and this after having it for only 4 months. I would understand it dying if it’s been a few years, but come on...

I was hoping to replace my old viewsonic projectors with this model, and was glad to find that the image was so bright and crisp. But my computer guru realized that the image was rippling across the screen, and then I saw what he was talking about so I returned the projector.

I have been researching a projector for hosting Fight Nights & sporting events without upgrading my 55" 4K TV which Im very happy with for everyday viewing .To get anywhere near 3000 lumens the prices where $700 to $1400. This projector is 3300 lumens and the picture is very compatible to my TV ( pictures enclosed to show comparison) The projector is mounted on a plant shelf 9 9" up and 17 from wall in family room to project 115" of viewing on a pull down movie screen that hangs over my 55" TV. I have a media box with a hdmi connection for movies & switch to an hdmi connection to my cable box for fights & sports. The sound is very decent and just basic sound. But for surround sound effect with base & loudness I connect my JBL portable speaker and the sound is amazing! You can watch in day time & lights on with the 3300 lumens but the lights off and night time watching awes everyone who comes over to my events! I am very impressed with price & picture so I decided to write review and hopefully help out with research. I totally recommend!
