Install Flash Player SEE UPDATE BELOW: I reviewed this unit when the first version came out and have now ordered the new version to see what the differences are. Installing it was not a matter of easily slapping it on a display - one had to read the instructions and mount it and perform the calibration correctly. Once that was done the right way the unit performed amazingly well. I could use their software to present, whiteboard, annotate and share with remote colleagues. The big manufacturers want $5 thousand to $25 thousand for the features you can get with a display you already own and this $300 little unit. And, considering how many IWBs go unused, Id rather be paying three hundred bucks for the few times Ill need it. The new unit arrived and I set-it up and tested it. (See the video I uploaded here.) It now comes with an additional support piece for large bezel TVs (which I didnt need.) Again, I had the unit unboxed, set-up and operating in less than 15 minutes. Aligning the LASER is a critical step that I guess some people dont take the time to do. You can see for yourself that when its done correctly the unit works amazingly well. Still an awesome buy compared to what interactive displays cost.

I am very impressed by this clever device. I never knew until recently such a product was available. It is easy to set up especially with the included in the box links to tutorial videos. It is great for collaborating with others on presentations, playing games and even watching Netflix. Much more affordable than a touchscreen TV or interactive touchscreen whiteboard. Also a great way to impress the friends and family. I highly recommend.

As you can see from the round tape patch in the attached picture, I apparently wasnt the first one to use and then return this product. That should have been my first red flag. To be fair, I really like the concept and the overall design of the mount and hardware is on point. The problem is with the underlying android technology. Over the course of the three hours I spent working with it, I got frequent app crashes. I slowly went from loving the idea of the product to wanting to rip it apart and take a large axe to the android hardware. It made the product nearly unusable and definitely not something Im going to put in a board room or conference room. I did try to run an update to see if that would take care of the app crashes but as you can see in the second picture, it wouldnt connect to the update server. The error message was amusing, though: Check Your OTA Servier Argent[SIC]. Thats not a typo on my part. Bottom line, this would be a great product with the Android innards replaced by an HDMI In port or just a straight up USB3 or 3.1 connection so I could run the touch/pen portion off of a PC or a Mac. The buggy Android implementation ruined an otherwise great piece of hardware.

The Wave works perfectly! The touch commands were accurate and sensitive which made it to navigate, play games or get on to google drive from the TV! The kids loved playing games on their giant iPad. The unit comes with an extended base which you can add at the bottom of the Wave box. This extra piece really helps stabilize the unit on the top of the TV. Getting the units to line up and for the green light to appear for me was fiddly but the main thing was to get center of both the main unit and small tracking box at the bottom to line up at the center of the TV and at a 90 degree angle to the TV. Next is to download the Touchjet App and switch your phone’s wifi to the Wave units hotspot. This makes it easier to initially control the Wave unit and connect the unit to your wifi network. After that it is all play!

my kids are so excited to use the wave because they already have the pond and love it too! Talk about how it brings the family together instead of all on separate devices. We LOVE IT!!!!!

For my workshops and seminars, I wanted a cost effective device that would allow me to present interactively on my TV. Touchjet’s WAVE + Lily does the job. It connects to my TV via HDMI and my TV turned into a giant touchscreen. Besides annotating on my slides directly on the TV, I wanted my audience to be able to share ideas with me as well. Now, during my workshops, we are able to brainstorm together on the big touchscreen using wonderful apps. I think the WAVE + Lily is a great device for both offices and classrooms.

First of all this thing is pretty. It may look a little odd because youre not used to seeing something stick off a TV, but its got a very well-built feel and quality finish. Set up is slightly longer than some other products but the steps are all easy to follow and theres enough help in the guide to make sure its snug and calibrated properly. One *very* minor point at least for me was the AC cord length could have been a bit longer. I had to reconfigure my power strips but once I did, and I got everything up and running it felt so new and exciting to be using Android on such a large screen. I played around with the app which is super useful for controlling from the couch but Ive spent much more time right up in front of my screen playing with this thing as a touchscreen because its just so fun. So far it feels a little bit like a Roku combined with a Chromecast because of the app interface but the touchscreen options brings it to a whole new level.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who is an aspiring teacher. She love playing school with her friends and has begged for a smart board for a couple years ($30k) which I definitely can’t afford. I bought this product and attached to my a flat screen TV in my daughter’s room. After working out a few minor bugs, the product works great. There’s no detailed instructions so I had to go online to watch a few video instructions but wasn’t a big deal. Pretty cool product...

It works but when touch of the screen the laser that goes from top to bottom gets out of calibration and it’s starts to malfunction, needs in improvements. I returned it.

Pro: -Unique on the market -Creativity Idea Cons: -Not working on 40”+ TV (see the photo. I can’t write properly at the lower part of my 55” TV) - Only on Android 4.4 = almost no apps could run on it from PlayStore - No power button. U have to unplug to switch it off. Otherwise it will just in reboot loop - (updated as of 3 dec) Calibration doesn’t work with the screen next to any window. I guess sunlight affected the alignment process but is not sure. Same setting could be calibrated after sunset.
