I have not owed a projector before. I was looking for something simple. That if the light went put or broke I wouldnt be butt hurt by it. After 4 days of research I committed to this Ok this is not bright. 1500 lumens if that (ive read some comments where people say its more like 500. I never owed others so cant verify). It is not HD. And the fan is a loud. I have blackout curtains in my bedroom so this is perfect on brightness. Even with my green leds on the picture isnt bad. Now the lamp on makes it bad. I also have the projector sitting back 10.5 from the wall. Thats bigger than they recommend but honestly it is over whelming. So yes I would recommend the projector. Youre nothing investing any big bucks so you wont be butt hurt if it breaks. And you wont be in a disadvantage when you upgrade later on. I now have lines on the right side the flash. *2018-05-27 - been trying to reach out to the makers and no response. The white lines have got so bad. *2018-12-02 - Despite my problems being outside the return period. The seller reached out to me with an offer of a refund. The seller stands by their product and insures that all their devices are checked for quality and this may have been an oversight. So I do believe the seller stand by their product because even after 7 months they offered a refund.
