When unboxing my new PTV Projector the first thing that really got my attention was how small it was. I used to own another projector that claimed to be a mini projector but it did not compare in size or even brightness. The projector itself is as big as my iPhone XS Max. Once unboxed there really is no set up needed. It is already pre-installed Netflix and YouTube and Android 7.1 OS which makes it very convenient. Just connect to a wifi network and your ready to go. No need for wires or connections. It is also bluetooth compatible so that you can connect another speaker to it to get that real movie theatre sound. If you want to mirror pictures or movies from your iPhone or iPad, it already has Airplay function. And of course since it is practically an Android device it will seamlessly stream anything from your android device via Miracast. Since it has Android OS 7.1, it works just like a cell phone or tablet in which you can download apps from the installed Google Play Store. It even has a chrome browser! As far as picture quality, this little projector packs a punch as far as clarity and brightness. You can project it on any surface or even the ceiling. But if you want the best picture experience, i would suggest buying a projector screen. I bought one on Amazon for $15 and it just looks amazing. This can project a picture as large as 120". I project mine on my screen at 100" and it looks great. Even with a light on in the room the picture is and bright. A dark environment is of course ideal. When Im feeling really lazy, Ill just grab it and start streaming a movie on the ceiling. One of my biggest concerns with other projectors that were wifi enabled, was that it didnt come with any other interface. This projector has HDMI, 2-USB-A, and a microSD card slot. This was important to me because if there is no wifi available, for example when Im camping, I want the option of connecting my device via the HDMI port or even have movies already downloaded on a microSD card that I can just pop in and enjoy my projector without having to connect to a network. It does have a rechargeable battery, but it only lasts about an hour or two, which isnt enough if youre watching a movie or playing video games. The plug that it does come with USB so it solves the problem of being around an electrical outlet because it can be powered by a backup battery pack. You can enjoy hours of movies with the projector plugged in. It does have a speaker already so you can use that for sound, but it is not that loud and it does sound a little tinny. There is no equalizer controls so the sound that comes out is as good as it gets which sounds as if the treble is turned way up with absolutely no bass. It can be piercing to the ears at times. I use a portable speaker or even use my soundbar via bluetooth which solves that problem in a snap. All in all, you really do get a lot in this little package. It is one of the best projectors Ive owned in this size. The portability aspect and the wifi/bluetooth connectivity is definitely awesome so that you can really take this anywhere without having to connect anything to it. The only complaint I have is the speaker but for something this small, you kind of expect it and it doesnt diminish the value of the projector. I would definitely recommend this product!
