I bought a portable one before, it claims has 2200 lumens, but the picture quality is not good. I returned it and did more research. My budget is limited, don’t want to spend too much on this, and found this one is within budget. The image quality is above my expectation, very clear and bright in my basement home theater. The sound is good too. I haven’t tried to use it outdoors yet since it’s cold now. Hope next summer I can use it in the backyard! It doesn’t have much fancy features like the high end , but with this price I am very happy with the quality!

Its been a few years since I priced projectors and so I was a bit suspicious that a good product could be sold at this price. Any potential concerns were allayed when I set up and used this projector. The image was clear, sharp and bright and the unit performed flawlessly. The first time I used the projector was for a 4 hour meeting and I was concerned the unit could overheat or start to go out of focus or something. Instead the device performed just fine for the entire time. I havent used the remote control yet but based on the rest of the package I expect it to work fine. This projector performs as promised and Im very happy with my purchase.

Install Flash Player Purchased the WiMiUS P18 after returning a pico projector. The pico projector wasnt bright enough for presentations or a home theater. The room had to essentially be pitch black, and even then it was dim. Not the WiMiUS P18. It is very bright, even in daylight, and the colors are vivid and the picture is clear. Im using it along with a Verizon Fios DVR and the quality of the picture is really good. I have the projector about 11 ft away from a white screen and Im sitting about 6 feet behind the projector. Is the picture as good as my 50" Panasonic plasma tv? No. But the WiMiUS P18 holds its own and for the price, and considering how large the image is on the screen, Im very happy with the results. Sweet projector. When my. Wife and I decided to buy a projector she was nervous that it was going to a dull, low quality image. She was definitely wrong. This projector claims 1080p and I believe it. I hooked it up to a fire stick at first and tried it out in the kitchen before making the installation permanent. We were impressed. As far as audio goes. Your not going to blow out your ear drums but the quality was pretty good. It sounds clear and has little bass. Thats OK because it has an audio out port so I can hook it up to a surround sound system like most people will do anyways. Overall, this projector is a great purchase and I am happy we picked this one!

I have had 12 days 2 additional orders for adapters to make it work. Still cant get a pic or movie to play thru it. I had to order a different mount (4 point) old one was a 3 point mount. Had to order a HDMI to Comp adapter ( no signal to project) Then I purchased a VGA to comp adapter (now have a signal to the projector) in the VGA format Used a computer monitor and connected to the same cable. The monitor will play the movie So I have spent about $70 trying to get this projector to play a movie over the last 2 weeks and still havnt been able to watch a movie I set up my man cave over 10 years so I have some experience in this area VERY FRUSTRATED Well 2 months and approx $75 in adapters later it now works with my DVD player. Now Im updating the rating to make them feel better. The pic is nice works well now that I have connected to my older surround sound it is good

This is a solid 5-star product for the value and quality itself. I use it to watch movies and work and it legit delivers just like the more expensive ones. Unlike other projectors I ordered and returned, this one doesnt flicker after a few days. This one also comes with an HDMI cable (which was nice because I didnt have a spare one), a VGA cable and a remote (which I havent used). It also provides different options to change ratios, video source, etc (you have 2 HDMI inputs so I have two cables one for phone and one for laptop and one of them is always on!). Highly highly recommend it!!

Planed to hang from ceiling 15 foot from the wall. Seems the keystone causes the screen to go obnoxiously blurry with just the slightest adjustment. So the projector must be mounted level to the center of your screen. In my case thats 5 feet from the floor. Fan noise i would rate as 7/10, 10 bein loudest. Im considering soldering in some silent Noctua fans. The unit comes with a filter on the input fan which i liked until i saw the dust particles being sucked into the projector at the lens. That tells me the filter is blocking some air flow in while the fan blowing out is free causing negative pressure inside which will suck in dust from the cracks and crevasses. I would recommend replacing and set the exhaust fan to 75% or rig a filter to provide better airflow and create positive pressure. Ive only watched 3 movies on it so far. at 15 feet lens to wall i have a 150 inch screen. When your watchn a movie on a twelve and a half foot screen those tiny speakers leave something to be desired. For a movie experience they were inadequate to say the least. I tried only a couple different video formats from my usb drive,one of the formats i got picture with no audio it was .mkv i believe i did get audio on an .avi. Im satisfied with the picture it will fit my needs. With screen sized to 150 inch i can not see pixels when im farther then 6 foot from the screen. Let it be known i dont have the best eyesight. Brightness seems great for my living room which receives no outside light. Your millage may very. When choosing between all the 1280x800 china projectors out there choose one from a seller willing to stand behind the product with a warranty this seller gives one year with purchase. This is my first projector and im glad i bought it.

I ordered the projector and the first one arrived dead. (It just turned itself off.) Amazon send me a replacement that I have now tested for an hour, so this is a preliminary review. Order this projector if you dont need instructions. For example, the remote control needs to be opened and two AAA batteries (not supplied) inserted. The projector has lots of features; too bad the instruction manual doesnt cover them. It has two HDMI inputs, two USB inputs, plus composite video. I tested one HDMI port and one USB. From the USB I was able to play an MP4 film, MP3 audio, and a JPG. The Amazon sites reads "3 YEARS WARRANTY AND 7/24 SUPPORT: Be confident of our quality, we promise 3 years warranty for this upgraded projector, which includes one year money back warranty. ", but the card that comes with the projector mentions only a 2-year warranty. And the support didnt answer the phone (but Amazon support did_. I like that as an LED projector, it is instant on (and off, without needing to wait for the bulb to cool.)

I think its a good product overall, for the price, with a decent quality image. Im projecting on my wall 15-18ft away, so it ends up being quite a large image. You do need to close blinds/lights to see it, maybe it would work better if it were closer. If the image is tilted, you can arrange it with the keystone correction but: - the keystone correction is very basic, it can only do vertical correction; the projector needs to be perpendicular to the screen/wall, otherwise it will be tilted horizontally - if the image is very tilted, the focus wont work across the entire image, and it will get blurry in some areas of the screen The manual was in very poor English, and with limited information. How the figure out some things (like zooming for myself) - initially was very disappointed that it didnt have a zoom; it actually does, but its in the menu, and x and y axes are separate, so you may slightly deform the image. The remote didnt work, so now Im waiting for their reply to get a new one (they only have email support). I connected it to my Macbook, and for whatever reason the HDMI connection didnt work. Luckily I also had an VGA adapter, and that one worked.
