The picture quality even stays good when projecting on an entire wall, as I did in my example video. If you want a projector that is affordable and definitely worth every cent, heres the one. Not convinced? Just watch the attached video!

This may not be the perfect video projector for you, but for me, it is perfect. Let me explain. If you are planning to buy a video projector you can use in your house, to project on your blank wall, to project during the day, then most likely it wont be for you. It is not the brightest of projectors, with the highest solution, nor the lightest and most portable. If that is you, I really recommend you buy those $500 ones, because youll never be happy with these. Therefore, you need to know EXACTLY what you are looking for. For me, I bought this for my teaching center, so that I can project my laptop to a screen, in a pitch black room. In those ideal conditions, it is perfect for my needs. I am not watching a superhero movie, so I dont need the best image quality with the best surround sound audio. I have a screen, so that makes the image better than just on a blank wall. And finally, I didnt want to spend $500. The image quality is good and clear, so things that I project, like a digital version of a coursebook, comes out perfectly fine. It was very quick and easy to set up and connect - my first time took only 2 minutes for powering up, connecting, projecting, and it was good to go. This projector, at less than $100, is exactly what I needed. If you have specific needs similar to mine, this is the projector for you.

I was looking for a projector to do some holiday special effects recently. I came across this mini projector which was PERFECT for the project. This projector has a ton of different input options including 2 USBs, an SD card reader, HDMI, VGA, etc. The screen size is bright and focusing the image was very easy to do. Included was a tripod that screwed into the base of the projector that allows for different positions and correction from different level surfaces. The User Interface was pretty straightforward by using either the buttons on the top or the responsive IR remote included. My only complaint with the remote, is that it requires to be precisely pointed at the projector to operate. I often found myself using the projectors navigation buttons to finish navigating the menus. The speaker included produces very good sound surprisingly, but you may want to invest in a sound bar or other speaker setup to use with the projector for a more theatrical experience. I put this projector through its paces. So far it has ran for a 72 hour stint and did not have any problems during this trial. Other times it runs for about 7-10 hours and does not overheat or lose picture quality. This little mini projector runs warm, but not extremely hot and maintains its brightness and clarity after extended use. Absolutely amazing unit and more than robust enough for the price.

Install Flash Player Keeping in mind the price of $72.99 (as of 5/30/19), the Merisny 2400 Lumen Mini-Projector is an extremely good buy with lots of versatility! The projector itself weighs about 3 ½ pounds (I said in the video about a pound; this proves the weaknesses of no script and my inability to judge weight—my wife loves this!). It is very quiet (the cooling fan) and is attractively designed. You have the ability to completely control every function of the projector by the controls on the top. Every control on the unit has a corresponding control on the remote. The menu is intuitive and easily navigable. The instruction manual is easy to understand, and the publisher has included extremely helpful pictures which greatly aid in understanding the operation of this unit. This is made in China, but the manufacturer has gone to great lengths to make sure they have surmounted any cultural language barriers. In the video I point out the various inputs available. Yet, I FORGOT TO POINT OUT THE SD CARD SLOT I HAD MY FINGER ON! The inputs are AV (Composite), HDMI, USB, VGA, and with the appropriate converters, Xbox, PS4, Phone and Laptop. Because I am using this for our church’s summer VBS program, I order a USB to VGA Adapter so a PC Laptop could use the projector (Link to Amazon for this is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DU4LS3K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The speakers & sound is very impressive! The “Tru-surround” mode gives the fullest and best sound for a moderately sized room (10x10-12x14). Using my Blu-ray DVD player, I streamed movie through it while using the AV/Composite connector to plug into the “digital-in” plug on the back of my 5.1 System—it was great! The only weakness—and this did not have any effect on my rating—is the tripod is “challenging to easily adjust. For the video I place the projector on a flat surface and had excellent results. The tripod is not poorly made but it is difficult to adjust easily—my perfectionism (my wife is mean and says I have OCD) was greatly tried. Yet the tripod has a specific purpose to elevate the unit and to be secure. The soft rubber feet on the tripod make it extremely stable. I explain fairly well in the video the picture quality and the various aspect ratios available (16:9; 4:3). At 10 feet from the wall (3 meters) the picture measures a diagonal of approximately 100 inches; 2.5m). Connected with my DVD player and the flash drive I used via USB was effortless and intuitive. Merisny offers a 60-day money back guarantee and an 18 month replacement warranty. The only caution I would give is that this 2400 lumen projector is unable to compete with very much ambient light; the room must be fairly dark. The picture is very, very good and keeping in mind the price, this adds up to a fantastic value—this earns five stars!

Let me start by saying I have bought and used many different portable projector is like this one over the years. As an Implementation Specialist for multiple companies I am regularly on the road giving presentations in boardrooms. I am also an amateur home theater aficionado. When I’m looking for a projector my top priorities are: * Quick and easy set up * Wide range of ports for content flexibility * Good picture detail and brightness, especially in well-lit rooms * Wireless connection capabilities (Bluetooth, WiFi, screen mirroring) * Portability/size I am happy to say that this projector meets my expectations in the majority of those areas. Let me start with the Pros: - Very straight forward setup with an INCLUDED tri-pod: * Although I already have multiple tri-pods the fact that this product included a perfectly sized one in the box was a huge bonus. * I also like the placement of the ports on the side instead of the back. This gives me the ability to sit along the side of a conference table with the projector facing forward without having to bend cables underneath it. - Decent availability of ports with all standard options HDMI, VGA, etc... - Solid picture quality, especially in darkened rooms. - Great size/weight: At just a bit over 3lbs this fit easily into the middle pocket of my backpack right in front of my MacBook Pro and was not a strain to carry from room to room all day. That being said, while not deal-breakers there were certainly a few shortcomings: - Audio: * The internal speakers are decent enough but I rarely rely on them with any projector I’m using so they don’t really matter to me. What does matter to me is the availability of Bluetooth which this projector lacked. * The only real audio option outside of HDMI pass-thru was the 3.5mm jack which is fine but not ideal as it’s another cable I have to carry. - Menu/On-Screen Controls: * While the menu is certainly not the worst I have seen in terms of usability and UI, it certainly leaves something to be desired. The iPod-esque skinning on the UI seemed to add an unnecessary navigation step to everything and was generally not sufficient for a device of this type. * My main beef was the lack of auto-source detection. I understand the projector not automatically turning On when I turn on a connected device, but I would at least expect that once it was fired up and detected signal from a given source it would automatically switch to that source, unfortunately this is not the case. - This results in an unnecessary delay when trying to access your content requiring 3 steps each and every time: Hit the “Source” button, navigate to your input source, then select is by clicking “Ok” on the remote. - Lack of wireless connection capabilities: * For a projector at this price point I don’t expect to see Chromecast or Android built in, but I would have expected something basic like DLNA or screen mirroring via app. - Daylight/well-lit room picture quality issues: * Although this projector displayed very good picture quality in darkened rooms the picture when in well lit room’s was definitely subpar and almost unusable without significantly dimming the lights. All that being said, this projector is a solid option for anyone who is on the go and looking for a travel companion that will deliver consistent performance just don’t expect it to compete with your Sony DLP Home Theater projector :)

I have a pretty sweet desktop set up, with two screen, but Ive been wanting something more, but I just dont have the space or really budget for an extra screen so I was considering my options. Considering I have a huge empty wall, I thought a projector would be a good option, and it definitely was! So after taking everything out of the box, I was thoroughly impressed! It came with everything you need to set up the projector. You can connect it with just about anything really, but I connected my computer. I ended up using the tripod, which is soo useful and versatile! Easy to work with, well built and can handle the weight of the projector itself. Its not heavy at all, and actually quite small! considering how much light comes out of this thing, its super impressive! When it is on, theres a cooling fan thats always on, and its noticeable, but for me, its like right above my head, and when you have audio going, when its far away and other ambient noise, its not noticeable at all. The user interface (UI) is easy to navigate, especially with the control! Its kinda cheaply made, but you dont need anything fancy. Its super easy to change resolution, small settings, color changes, focal changes, just about anything. Overall when it comes to build quality, going through it and setting it up, its perfect. I was very impressed with the picture quality! Its rated at 1080p , and Im always worried its not, but its actually pretty high quality! the farther away the better when looking at the screen, but considering i watch things at about 5 feet away at most, its still quite nice! Im planning on setting it up much farther away since my room set up is a but limited right now. Theres different resolutions you can go with, but you cant go wrong with 1080p. The lighting is very bright, and more than enough even at dusk or during the middle of the day! Overall Im quite impressed with this little guy, and when you take into the account the price point, and all the accessories that come with it, and how well this is built, totally worth it!

I bought this beautiful machine mainly because I moved into my apartment and noticed that a big TV screen wouldn’t fit in my living room. So, after careful consideration I choose this projector and I am very happy with the purchase. Now My living room feels like my very own movie theater. It has great lumens and picture quality is beyond what I expected. It is also super bright, has plenty on inputs, and is VERY easy to operate, even by a non-technical operator. Also, I love the small size of it, I can easily install it in another room, or carry with me to the office and client meetings, or even on my trips! I would highly recommend the unit for anyone, home or office.

This projector worked great and exceeded my expectations. I had it set up and running just a couple of minutes after taking it out of the box. It is going to be perfect for travel and impromptu outdoor movie nights. It also worked great with vintage video games for the kids. I was surprised with how bright it actually is. It still looks best in a fairly dark room but the image was still clear with a few lights on in the room. The colors are bright and vibrant and are not washed out especially on my grey painted wall. I like the multiple inputs available. I tested with a FireTV stick and with video files straight from an SD card and both worked great. I was even able to use one of the USB ports on the unit to power the fire TV stick which is super convenient. Now, there is some screen door effect and it is not HD resolution but it doesnt hamper the fun of lighting up a 100" screen and watching a movie with the kids. The small size is perfect for travel or setting up in any temporary spot. I found the included speaker to be loud and clear enough for watching a movie but I will probably take advantage of the audio out a plug it into a larger portable speaker for a little extra clarity. This projector wont replace a dedicated home theater projector but it is perfect for travel and temporary setups. I couldnt be more pleased with it for the price.

The product description on Amazon says that this is not for ppt presentations. I was pleasantly surprised that this 1080P projector is actually readable for ppt with large fonts, although it cannot be compared with much more expensive professional LCD projectors designed for presentations. It is good enough to watch movies and home videos. Picture display is around 1.3 MP for 1080P, thus not to be compared with monitors with much higher resolutions. I used an HDMI cable with my Samsung phone. The projector worked just like a 1080P monitor. I got DeX on screen. I found that to focus properly, the screen display should be at least around 32”. Dark room gives the best image quality with high color intensity (see attached blue interface picture). Daytime image intensity is lower, but movie watching is still acceptable if you are not picky (see two attached pictures). Wall color does not need to be white. Other light paint colors work also fine in my house. Movie watching is full screen. The controls on the projector and the remote took me some time to get used to. This projector is light weight with a small form factor. It is perfect for travel and for home when a large screen TV is not available. The cooling fan noise is not loud enough to interfere with movie sound. It is not louder than a desktop PC’s cooling fan. To play movie and picture files on a USB drive, no PC is required. SD card is also accepted. The projector’s lens cover is tight. You must take it off before use. A micro-SD card needs a card adapter, which often comes with a micro-SD card package. Overall, for the price point, I think this is a good product that fills a niche. My kid thinks it is cool because it can be used for school presentations.

Our kids recently saw someone using a projector outside to watch a movie and they thought it was the coolest thing ever. I wanted to find something that wouldnt break the bank but would still display at least a 1080P quality picture. Based on some other reviews and the tech specs, this mini projector met those marks. I didnt even read the instructions for setup because I have a lot of experience with home theaters and projectors. I plugged in the power, hooked up the HDMI cable, selected the HDMI source on the projector and before I knew it, Monsters Inc was playing on the wall! What surprised me right off the bat was how loud the sound god without getting distorted. I had already planned on adding external speakers for this (and I still may) but the kids dont care about sound quality and even with some wind or other noise outside, volume would not be an issue as long as they are in the vicinity of the projector. I found that while viewing the picture, I got the best definition and brightness at about 85" diagonal. I moved the projector back to the full 170" ish inches and it got a bit grainy and lost significant brightness. Keep in mind, this is a under 100 dollar projector, not a $1500+ 4K multi function projector! The room I was in had the shades closed but they are not room darkening shades. If it was night time outside or you have a room you can get very dark, this would be a non-issue. The remote control works good enough, but its a direct line of sight control so be sure to point the remote right at the projector. The menu is basic and easy to navigate and fan noise is acceptable and doesnt take away from the experience. We plan to use this for special occasions and it should be a hit for movies outside once it warms up. For the price, Im very happy with the function and performance of this little unit. I hope you found this helpful!
