Very pleased with this $100 projector. You will need to have this projector within approximately 12 feet of the wall otherwise you wont be able to focus in on the picture any more using the focus wheel. The projector also has a second wheel to adjust the picture if you have the projector mounted on an angle. This projector worked right out of the box. I plugged it into the wall, turned it on, and plugged my xbox one into it. I did have to go into the xbox settings and change the resolution to 1080 so it filled the entire projection area but after that it was good to go. Small text can be difficult to read and sometimes fuzzy but the overall picture is practically HD. Games did not lag whatsoever. Ive also plugged my macbook pro into the hdmi port without any issues. I havent tried the usb ports or the vga ports but Id imagine they work just fine. Projector also comes with a remote and options to custom set the picture. Brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color. Cons The fan is a little loud but once you get into a show, you forget its even there. When some screens are refreshing (such as scrolling through cable menus) you will see a diagonal line at the top right corner of the screen. Its hard to explain since its not actually a line its more like a crease in the picture that only appears for a split second before disappearing when you stop scrolling.

I recently moved into a town-home with a carpeted, square, boring basement. I got it in my head that I needed to try out a projector experience to spice it up a bit, but Im not enough of a projector buff to comfortably drop $$$$ on one. So after pouring over the DOZENS of projectors out there, I settled on this one for all the obvious reasons - great reviews, lots of pics, ease of use, and of course...the price point. Instead of saying the same stuff everyone has said, Ill give my .02 on what everyone has already said! -The picture and sound customization is pretty good. I was able to get a brighter, clearer picture by spending time adjusting the settings. Th remote is a little unresponsive sometimes but it isnt intolerable. -The aspect ratio depends largely on how far you have it from the wall. I have mine about 10-12 feet from the wall, and Im only able to comfortably use 16:9. Anything else looks weird/ smooshed together/ or not centered properly. The distance and angle your projector is at will determine which aspect ratio is right for you. - Speaking of distance and angle, the projector really needs to be placed perfectly in order to get a good picture. It needs to project straight onto a wall, at the perfect distance. Too far away, and itll be blurry. Angled slightly, and one side of the picture will be bigger than the other. Something to consider when considering how the space is set up. -Everyone talks about how you need to have the room completely dark, with no ambient lighting whatsoever in order for this to work at all. Its true that you do need a darkened room for it to work best, but I use candles/string lights etc in the room while I watch. See Picture #2, which shows the picture with the bright overhead light on. Picture #3 shows it with a computer monitor light nearby, and Picture #1 is with ambient candle and string lighting. -The fan noise is noticeable but not bothersome to me at all. It does put off some heat, which you might feel if youre sitting very near to it. Otherwise, its really not an issue. -Its portable. You can bring it outside and stuff, but I havent tried using it with a smartphone so I cant comment on how/if that works. Overall, I really enjoy this projector for the price. But it really works best with cartoons or shows with more color saturation. Watching Game of Thrones or playing a dark game (Dark Souls, Skyrim) doesnt provide as optimal an experience. I like to escape down to my woman cave, and have thoroughly enjoyed Big Little Lies, Grace and Frankie, Orange is the New Black, and the Last Unicorn on it so far. For under $100, its definitely worth it unless youre serious about movie night bells-and-whistles. It will hook up to virtually anything you have (Playstation/ Xbox, Roku, Wii, DVD player, soundbar, speakers and probably even a VCR if youre so inclined) so you can experiment with a variety of entertainment sources!

We bought this to use for outdoor movie nights. The projector is small and I was surprised at the amazing picture it produced. We do have to use speakers with it because we have a pond and the frogs drown out the sound after dark.

For the price and purpose thise product works great so far. Its been a month and the kids use it every weekend to play thier games and movies. Quality of image is great as long as you distance it properly or make the adjustments. Kids give it nine or ten feet from the surface they are projecting and its roughly a 70-75 inch image and clear. No humming sounds, but just fine. If youre looking for volume for a big group or outdoors, youll need to add external speakers. Used in our livingroom with a family of six, this unit works great on family movie night. Ill try to update if anything changes later. 12/16/17- Its been several months and a lot of use, still works great! Uploaded images of projector in sons room. Hes using the whole wall, 100" or so image. Great quality image for the price and works great with XBox 360/ XBox One.

Okay, so I bought this NEARLY A YEAR AGO. And I was happy with that product -- it was much better than I expected given what we paid. I also set mine up with a Fire Stick and is essentially becomes a "smart" projector -- also AMAZING for the price! We can use it with the stand alone speaker or a bluetooth speaker and its so small and easy to move...which are also plusses! The bummer was -- we noticed some black specks inside the unit when it arrived and didnt bother with it because it was cheap and we were overall very happy...........but as time went on, the black dots got worse and theres no real way to clean the lens / inside area without taking it apart and hoping you dont break something else in the process. So, I looked up warranty info and guess what -- 3 years against defects! But you know how these things go. I sent off an email expecting nothing and then -- much to my surprise -- some kind person at iDGLAX emailed me right back. I sent some photos of the images, again expecting nothing or to be blamed for the defect, and again was surprised to learn, despite being based in Texas during Harvey -- as SOON as the storm cleared -- they sent us a new unit to try FOR NOTHING. What? That just doesnt happen anymore. Needless to say, I wouldnt hesitate to buy this again. I do feel like our older model was easier to adjust and has a clearer picture but I also havent spent much time with the new unit. I get why people complain that either the top of bottom is blurry but theyve also put both adjustments front and center so you dont miss them. Plus, no black specks on the screen. Thanks, guys! Really appreciate the above and beyond customer support. Wish all companies were this easy to deal with. Big thumbs up.

After repeated attempts with VGA cable, HDMI cable and fooling with all of possible resolution setting and Menu items, I cannot get a clear, bright image with a HP ProBook 640. I bought this for the occasional PP presentation, and when using it for a modest audience, I was embarrassed. The screen is fine since I have recommended that other presenters bring their own projector. I keep thinking I must be doing something wrong, but I am convinced that this is just a cheap, poor projector, or its defective and I dont know it. This is deserving of a minus 10 if there were such a rating and generally, I dont rate products at all. Given that Amazon promotes this item shakes my confidence in its recommendations.

Lets see if they stand behind their product like it claims. Got this for the family for christmas. Due to room renovations it stayed boxed until about 45 days ago. Worked great at first until 3 days ago. Problem started with the picture flickering, I turned off and back on and it went away. About 30 min later started again so we turned it off. Next day turn it on, within 2 min it starts flickering and scree goes white. I messaged the company here, so far no response. All we have now is a white flickering screen, and a company not responding. Will update review and stars if they respond and take care of issue.

Before I start, let me explain what I am using it for. Portable Movies via WiFi with my Fire Stick. Back yard viewing and maybe throwing some Christmas Theme stuff on the side of my house as a Christmas decoration. Not to be used a professional theater. This projector is great for the price. My primary issue is the fan noise. This is kind of loud. I did set it up behind me and up high with a home made acoustic tile noise absorption box that has vents to keep it cool. That did help. Only problem with that concept is that I block the sensor for the remote control. You have to operate the remote from behind the projector. That is extremely painful. I will return it and look for something with a quieter fan and an IR remote. I also found it bothersome having to run a wire to the speakers. Speaker provided sounds like a transistor radio but works well with portable speakers wired to it. Not the way to go if you are going portable. Might as well add blue tooth to the mix. If this was a permanent mount, then I would hard wire everything. The plan is to be 100% portable. I thought about a battery projector too, but the life span does not suit my need. Ill us AC current while near a power source and can also bring portable power if needed that will last longer than most portable units with a battery. Picture is pretty good in a dark environment. I found that at 85 to 90 inches is about as large as I can get without having to give up on clarity (doesnt really qualify as a big screen but will work like a big TV screen for an apartment or small room). You can go larger if you want. Depends on how much picture quality you want to give up. I want at least 120"screen at the best resolution for the price. The 15 degree tilt adjustment is probably more like 10 degrees blurs at the bottom when at maximum tilt not hung on the ceiling. My resolve for this was a portable tripod that I had for a telescope that fit perfect with enough vertical height that I only had to correct the tilt at roughly 5 degrees. Focus is not that difficult. A little stiff but does dial in. This is done manually. Limited on color adjustments. You get a few presets. They kept it simple. I preferred the dynamic with cool lighting. I set my ratio to 16:9. That seemed to work the best for resolution. I have an inexpensive fold able screen that has a 1 to 2 gain. I keep mine rolled in a PVC tube with caps. Eliminates having to wait for the creases to work their way out. In summary: Noisy Fan but can be managed; dont block the remote sensor. Blue Tooth is a must since you want your speakers in front of you. When speakers are in front, you dont want people tripping over the wires. Best pic is around 85 inches. Internal speakers are not good Remote is cheesy and needs back lighting For the price you cant go wrong. I will upgrade and get something that can give me at 120", need IR remote, Blue Tooth, and if possible tilt adjustment greater than 15 degrees.

Bought this projector because of the positive reviews & great value. We love it. Picture is very clear if you view it large. Works just fine projected onto a white sheet. We purchased a speaker to supplement because the internal speaker is not very loud. Recommended to others. Happy with our purchase.
