I purchased this projector to do a presentation. It was so bad that I had to borrow a projector from someone else. The picture was so bad that my kids wouldnt even use the projector to watch things. When I contacted customer support they made me download software upgrades. After putting in all the time Im still stuck with a lousy piece of junk. They offered to send me a new one if I paid to ship them the one I have. Not worth it. Maybe I can use it as a door stop.

My first review was deleted. Go figure. Anyways. I was hesitant about purchasing this, but I needed it for a couple simple projects that required projecting some jpegs. But I saw all the reviews and figured it must be decent. When I pulled it out of the box and heard the rattling of pieces, I was nervous. Then I read the manual and saw a paragraph on the first page that stated that if your projector only runs for a minute or so and then turns off, don’t worry. It’s a known defect and to just send it back and they’ll send you one that has had the defect corrected. And that’s ezactly what I had happen. Wouldn’t stay on for more than 15 seconds at a time. I think I actually saw it project maybe 3 times for a total of a minute or minute and a half in the hour I messed with it. Fairly certain it’s an issue with the fan and the auto shut off triggering because of the fan failing. If they knew there was a problem with the item and they have stock of the item sans problem, why didn’t they just send me one that they knew didn’t have that problem. They’re literally selling an item, knowing there’s a good chance of an out of the box failure. I find it strange this thing gets such good reviews. It’s also strange my last review was deleted. Hmmmm

I read almost all of the questions and comments before I purchased this little projector. It lives up to its description! What I liked was it was advertised as working with the Amazon Fire stick. It works great with the Fire stick! It also comes with all the cables you need. I was able to hook it into my stereo receiver (I already had a cable long enough) and the sound is even better! I think it will also work well with my good external speakers that work with my lap top. For the price, the throw, and the brightness it is a great product. I didnt really use the remote that came with it as everything I plugged into the device already had a remote. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to use this to watch a movie or stream off the Fire Stick. Get this projector, a nice screen, pop some popcorn and enjoy a big screen movie at home!

You cant beat it for the price! I purchased another projector for around the same price and was not as good as this one. You cant expect this projector to perform as well as $1000.00 or more projectors out there. But for less than $100 dollars you cant beat it. FYI: This projector is 840 X 480 px.

I have left my original review below so everyone can see for themselves how WRONG I was. UPDATED REVIEW: The projector I received simply did not work and I assumed that ALL the projectors made by this company were equally the same. I was wrong. I have since received a replacement from the company and the replacement was EVERYTHING I was hoping for. Now, to be fair, I wasn’t expecting this to be like going to a movie theater with a digital projector. I was hoping to be able to watch movies indoors and outdoors for special occasions on a BIG screen. Also, I wanted to be able to connect my XBOX One and have a “big screen” gaming system from time to time. This projector MOST CERTAINLY does this and does it quite well. Now let me say a word or two about the seller DR. J Professional… NEVER IN MY LIFE have I experienced such AMAZING customer support!!! I honestly cannot say enough GOOD things about them. They not only replaced the projector for free but even gave me an upgraded projector! No company has ever done such a thing. This is like the kind of customer service I heard my Grand-Mother talk about when I was a little kid but had never experienced in real life. They have earned me as a customer for life. I’m sure at some point I will want to upgrade even further, and at that point I will deal with no one other than DR. J Professional. If you are considering buying a projector, I can assure you that you will be VERY glad if you choose DR J. Professional as your choice of seller. They are fantastic to work with. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Title: I had to return it the image was SO BAD. I was really disappointed with this projector. I wasnt expecting IMAX theater from it either. Just a picture that was watchable. It wasnt. I purchased a screen just for this but the picture was so VERY awful that it simply could NOT be watched. It was like the individual pixels were a half an inch away from each other. Im not joking when I say my childhood Lite Brite had better resolution than this. This is only the second of HUNDREDS of items Ive purchased from Amazon of the years that I had to return. At least the return process for this and the screen was quite painless and Amazon returned the money toot sweet.

I ordered this product to show an outdoor movie for my daughters 5th birthday. Unfortunately, I pulled the product out the night before the party to try it out and found that the projector I received had overheating issues because the fan was not working properly. I returned the item, received a full refund, and ended up purchasing a different projector (RCA) the next morning from a local store. I was immediately contacted by a costumer service representative, Linda, who shipped me a new, fully functional projector at no additional cost and apologized for the issues we had with the original. The second projector seems to be in good working order. The picture is clear and bright. The fan is a little loud but can be tuned out with the movie sound from a simple speaker attachment. Overall a good investment for the money. 4 stars because of the original issues I had with the item and the fact that it put me in a pretty bad spot for my daughters party, but major props to the company for their excellent resolution of the issue.

We absolutely love this little projector. We wanted a projector to use on occasional use for movie night with the kids so we didnt want to spend a lot of money on it. We also wanted something that would project a quality image. So far, this projector has been great. There are multiple ways to connect to it - USB, HDMI, and computer. There is a built in speaker, however, I would recommend hooking up an additional speaker because the volume isnt great. The image can be focused and the keystone can be adjusted to create a surprisingly crisp image. I do wish the feet were adjustable and that the power cord was longer. But that is not a deal breaker for me. The small compact size makes it easy to store and use.

No bluetooth but everything else is good. I like it. it does offer a variety of ports for various technologies. The size and weight is easy. I like that there is no hot fan in it. The picture is clear and bright. It has the ability to project large displays across a room. I think well be able to use it for my art, for tv, and for presentations. Glade I bought it! NOTE: Even though Amazon recommends buying the "DBPower Hard Travel Case" it does not fit! Be sure to order the "khanka Dr. J projector case".

I had the same problem as Kodjo, I tried to connect it to my phone with an HDMI cord and it didnt work. I thought there was something wrong with the HDMI to lightning cable, so I got a new one, and it still didnt work. Its not the adaptor thats the problem because it works with other items, but I think its the HDMI port thats the problem. I hope customer service can get to fixing this problem before I return it.

This little projector is surprisingly good for the price. You can actually tell the difference between DVD and Blue ray movies and games look great as well. The sound output is not terrible but I recommend external speakers. The only real problem is the keystone adjustment. If you are not throwing your image straight on and have to use keystone you will never get the entire picture in focus. The nice thing though is it has a tripod mounting screw on the bottom so with a decent tripod it is easy to get the perfect vertical angle to eliminate any need for keystone adjustments. We use this projector at night, outside projected on a Carls Blackout cloth. You will have to wait until its almost dark out to see the picture because of the low lumens but I find this preferable. It cuts down on bug attraction and if youre using it at a campground like us its less disturbing to nearby campers. Overall a solid buy. If youre looking for a projector to use in any type of ambient light situation consider a projector with higher lumens. Otherwise this thing rocks.
