It was shipped and delivered fast. Packaging was great. I dont have TVs around the house and I thought it would be cool just to have this portable projector to take from room to room if I ever have guests or just want to see a movie on the "big screen" (my wall). Ive only used it for connecting via HDMI with my computer, which was a very simple plug and play type setup, so I expect other methods of connection is easy as well. The quality is not the best. After adjusting the keystone, focus, and messing around with all projector menu options, it was still difficult making out some text when watching movies with subtitles or looking at text in game interfaces. This definitely needs to be in a dark area to see anything. Overall, this was not bad for the price.

Great cheap little projector. Wish it was a little less blurry. But it served its purpose while camping in Tennessee. Thanks for an affordable product.

I purchased this to support presenting to audiences for Cub Scout pack meetings and found us trying to use this to play movies outside at night. Basically, it works great (1080p) as long as the ambient light is very low (like at night outside or in a very dark room). No issues with picture quality. If you want to play movies, the following will not work from your iPhone or iPad due to HDCP filtering (not an all inclusive, or should I say exclusive, list): Netflix, Hulu, DirecTV Now, Amazon Prime. HDCP is HD copyright protection, a system used to minimize piracy. Even if you legitimately want to stream from your smart device via lightning adapter to HDMI cable, this will not play it due to HDCP. Instead of trying to bypass it, some services like You Tube will play through this device. The best answer is to purchase a streaming stick, such as a Fire Stick or Roku, to play through this device (you need to be within WiFi range). The streaming sticks will play the picture great, but then there is no sound (another thing to fix). This problem can by overcome by using a Bluetooth speaker (they are dirt cheap these days for decent quality sound); connect the streaming device to the Bluetooth speaker using the settings on the streaming stick (Amazon’s Fire Stick has this option in the settings). That said, you can have fun playing movies outside on a projector if you don’t mind setting up this contraption and having the required power supplies within range. Hope this helps - I learned all this stuff by trial and error.

It seems like a great device, awesome quality of the sample photos for the price and easy to use EXCEPT! There is no warning that says you are going to need additional cables to make it work. It says smartphone compatible but I didnt see where it says you need the additional cord. Amazon gave me a great deal on overnight shipping the Saturday before Christmas but alas, none of my cables connect and there is no time to get one, especially since it looks like the iphone cable costs almost as much as the projector itself. Actually, I suppose there is a note in the description: VERSATILE MOVIE PROJECTOR: This projector can be supports connections with laptops, smartphones, tablets, USB drives, DVD players, Amazon Fire TV Stick and Xbox, offering great versatility in what you can display with this projector. NOTE: When connected with smartphones, a Wi-Fi display dongle or HDMI adapter (not included) is required. So read the fine print. I guess I will change my stars to a 4. I do have an adapter from my macbook to HDMI, but it is old and maybe that is the problem because I cant get it to work either.

The picture part was great. Sound? Barely worked at first. Took a headache to get it to work. After trying multiple things we had to get old school stereo out of the attic. Overall once hooked up it was fantastic and we are glad to have made the purchase. ******Edit: after writing this review i recieved an email directly from the company and they gave me an unsolicited refund. Since we have figured a way to use the product idk if ill return it or not. If we do I’ll definitely buy another one from them. Its a great product at the end of the day and its backed by a great company w stand up morals. Feel confident when buying from them. They stand by what they sell. No questions asked. This is why im uping my stars from 3 to 4. Why not 5? Cause no one and nothing is perfect. Thanks again to the company and their rep, Yuri.

It works well and is clearer than I expected. Naturally its not truly 1080p as its only an 800x480 LCD inside, but it plays higher quality video will still looking good for its price point. It’s really useful this has a SD reader, I can load video on a card and play it with only a power cable plugged in. Great for running a single video over and over. It also has a USB charging port which is powerful enough to power a Raspberry Pi. I can hook a RPi up with HDMI and USB power and again the only wire running across the floor is the power to the projector. It’s really versatile for a low cost device. It’s quiet and gets a little warm, but by no means would I consider it “hot” when running. The noise it produces while cooling is easily drowned out by whatever you are playing. The speaker built in is a bit weak on bass but good enough for vocal tracks or game audio. I would recommend external speakers for anything requiring rich sound though. It is small and light. There is an adjustable foot on the bottom for angling it upward. When the foot is removed you can mount the projector on any standard camera mount, like a tripod for example. It works really well actually. There are rubber feet for flat surfaces. The remote control is powerful enough that you don’t always have to point it at the projector either. Reflection of infrared off your projection surface usually works. There are front and rear sensors too. In a indoor setting I could aim the remote almost anywhere but the floor to register with the projector. It’s also a nice elongated shape, which is more comfortable to use than credit-card shaped remote controls. I liked it enough I ordered two more for haunted house use. They project video onto walls and pumpkins really well. :) One tiny complaint I have actually is the keystone. The knob barely turns and only adjusts a few degrees and is really stiff. I expected a little more adjustment and it’s hard to get it dialed in. Its still useful to have keystone... granted its only for vertical skew, not horizontal as well, like on more expensive projectors. In the end we needed a few low cost projectors for a haunted house and they will work well, are quiet, and inexpensive enough that I can buy a few for the cost of one high-end projector. Another minor complaint is that at closer ranges (3-6m) you cannot focus the entire screen perfectly. If the center and top is in focus, the lower third isn’t. If you focus the bottom, the top is a bit blurry. In the end you need to compromise for a slightly (ever so slightly) out of focus image so it’s uniform. Alternatively moving the projector back a few feet also helps correct this issue. For my use case it’s perfectly fine. Don’t expect razor sharp PowerPoint slides on this. It’s not advertised nor high enough resolution for super clear text. Though it projects old Nintendo and Sega games really nicely since they are blocky graphics already. One final little gotcha, the power cord is short. Around two feet short, maybe one meter. You’ll need an extension cord in most cases, though only a two prong US one as it’s not a grounded device. I would buy more of these without hesitation. You somewhat get what you pay for; a low cost, lower resolution projector, but overall the value is there. Thanks for reading all this.

Disappointed a lot of reviews about how this product is great but the one I got didnt work at all returning. Update 10/2/17 So I bought the projector back in August and for some reason it din"t work and Im no good at trying to fix anything or knowing how so I return it and got my money back. The seller was very understanding and tried to help with the problem but like I said I had no idea why the projector didnt work so I just asked for my money back I didnt want another projector. Now me having said that to the seller and they wanting to help in everything they could possibly they sent me another projector free of charge because they believe in what theyre selling and wanted me to have a good experience with their projector. When I got it the second time I was thinking it wasnt going to work again and didnt even want to try it but finally decided to set it up since the weather is still so nice and it does work! Its awesome its little and so easy to use and the picture looks great and sounds good too. But connecting it to a speaker its better. This projector works great with my computer and phone and for some reason when I connect it to my blu ray player it doesnt work I get the image but no sound maybe I have to update my blu ray or buy a different one to use with the projector maybe my blu ray its just old. Overall I think this projector is a good deal it does its job well and if your undecided just get it and try it for yourself or contact the sellers for any questions they will work with you they are very helpful and they want their customers to be happy with their products!
