Clearly a beta-stage product: I spent an hour trying to figure out how to connect this device to my phone and laptop, without any success of connecting to a phone. It isnt even obvious how to turn it on: power button has a weird design. Finally, all you can do is to watch pre-loaded content and whatever files you copy through a micro-usb cord. You CAN NOT mirror your laptop. Supposedly you could watch Netflix/Youtube but you have to suffer through typing in your search with only left/right/up/down/ok buttons and virtual keyboard. Picture quality is good, the sound is ok.

I bought this CINEMOOD movie theatre for my nieces but I just loved the magic atmosphere it creates, so now Im buying 1 more for myself! I was a bit concerned about all the negative reviews, but at the same time Ive heard from several people great things about it and decided to give it a try. The projector came in a nicely designed package. I liked the attention to details which turned the unpacking into a pretty pleasant experience. The same would apply to the product quality and accessories in general. IMO the design is pretty slick and the hardware felt pretty well manufactured. No squeaking buttons, no cheap plastic, no unpleasant chemical smell, etc. It definitely feels like a high quality product. Right after turning it on I was a bit confused with external apps available on the device but then I realized that one actually has to sync the software to get the most recent version of it. Once the update is installed syncing the projector with external apps like Youtube, Amazon prime video and netflix works flawless. I also really like a mobile app that simplifies navigation while the device is connected to an external streaming app. The mobile app turns a phone in to a touch pad controller for CINEMOOD. So far I took the projector on a few trips and one of the things I liked about it is its portability. You basically just need WiFi and you can stream your content on the go. No WiFi - no problem, just watch the pre-installed content! Reading content is also a great feature. These books brought some really warm memories from my childhood. The price is definitely on a steeper side but CINEMOOD is worth the investment!

The Disney content is a joke seriously theres no Disney movies. Just some PDF picture books and one or two wierd mini instructor cartoons. Totally a bait and switch tactic

Been charging this thing all day, the red light is on so I thought maybe charger is not working. I had same charges for my other peace of technology, it works, so I used that charges. It was charging all night, and red light still on and the cinemood won’t turn on.

I’m very upset with this purchase. I want to be refunded. I’ve had this since April 25th and have tried every day connecting it to Netflix and it will not connect. I’ve contacted CINEMOOD support who are slow to respond and are no help. They said there was a problem they would fix soon with Netflix and we are almost a month later still nothing. I’ve tried mirroring Netflix from my phone which Netflix works great on and it always says “it cannot play title” no matter what I try watching. We bought this device to use with Netflix for our family and it hasn’t worked at all. For how much I paid for this there should be better customer service and it should work. I don’t know if I got s lemon or what but I’m very upset with this experience.

Decided to give this one a try, since I wanted something to project Youtube, Netflix and Prime shows before bed instead of watching it on the small screen of my phone. I have white walls in my apartment, so I didnt even need a white screen to project on. Have been using it for a little more than a week and Im pretty happy so far. The video quality is very good and the audio is decent as well.

Ive been looking for something like this for a long time. Just didnt want my child to watch TV, tablet or my Iphone!!! After pretty huge research I got my Cinemood like 3 months ago for my baby boy. And I felt in love :) Cute design, very good content! Possibility to connect phone and speakers! works great with youtube and USB-flash card. Endless entertainment. My son is too little to play games on it but we are looking forward for that. Now I purchased another one for my niece birthday. So exited to present it to her!!! Id really like to thank people who create this amazing, very useful and helpful projector. Highly recommended!

That Disney collection they say it comes with is just crappy old movies or b side material of no interest.

Could not get past the email screen on the app to use the product. (Server not found) Super disappointed because it was such a cool small product and I wanted it to work because it was so cute. Went with another brand after return.
