I was setting up a playroom for kids. And planning to put a projector to play movies. Not choosing the regular TV is because I may be able to take the projector outside for backyard movies in summer night. Since I am using it to play animations, resolution is not my main concern. I am not saying this projector resolution is bad, instead it is a 720p model (which could handle 1080p signal). It is still crisp playing other movies and YouTube videos. But I am pleased with the lumen it output. It has a 3600lux light source! It is incredibly high compare to my acer 3500 1080p lumen and benq 2200 lumen 4K projectors. With this brightness, I believe movie could be watchable at daytime. After plugging in the power. The projector shows a setup screen, of course it is blurry. We need to fine tune the focus and keystone ring in the front. I have a little complaint here, the ring is pretty stiff and I don’t know if I should apply some WD40 here. Anyway it was focused. I lay it on a desk and for the angle, we need to correct the keystone. It is missing a zoom ring, a zoom function, which can enlarger or reduce the screen size. But I think i am asking to much for this price point. When the screen was ready, I plugged in couple things to try, 4K fire tv stick and a pandora arcade box. My first impression. It is fun! The movie viewing experience is great, especially for cartoons, doesn’t have much different compared with my other projectors. The color is a little wash off with light on, but very nice when the room is dark. Playing games is even better, very little lag actually not noticeable. Switch resolution is much faster than my benq and acer. Speaker in the unit is ok, but I should pair it with external speakers for long run. But overall it is quite impressive for around one hundred bucks. (Update: The brightness it used to measure is in lux is different from lumen, just a thing I notice. And the focus ring does get loose and turn nicely after turning it for a few more times, so the stiffness of the ring shouldnt be a issue.) Generally It is a very nice portable projector for projecting movies, games and videos. For the fairly low cost, I will give it a 5 stars. Just hoping the weather will get warmer and I can test out how it work at my backyard. Finally unscrew my ceiling mount projector is not necessary for a backyard movie night!

This isnt my first Amazon projector so Im going to do a little ranking. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best. Picture clarity: Definitely a 10. I expect there to be some loss of detail when making an image this large but even just on my wall the picture was really clear and didnt have blurry edges like my previous projectors. Brightness: Its really bright but not the brightest Ive seen. 8/10 because your still gonna need it pretty dark in the room. Fan noise: This is a bigger deal than you might think because trying to hear your movie over the noise that your projector is making can be the difference between an enjoyable movie and hearing a fan for 2 hours. Unfortunately the fan on this projector is slightly noticeable. Its not a deal breaker for movies but if somebody in your apartment is asleep, youre gonna need headphones to hear you movie without turning the volume up too high. Definitely not the loudest fan Ive heard but not as quiet as my 2-fan projector. I give it a 7/10 Sound quality: This projector actually does well for being such a compact unit. No complaints, but nothing spectacular 9/10 Build: 10/10 because I wouldnt but expect such a clear picture from such a compact unit. The case it comes with makes it super portable and perfect for like taking to a friends house, or an event. The design itself looks pretty future proof; modern but classic so it doesnt look like some outdated equipment in 2 years. Only 1 HDMI port but the 5v USB had no problem with my Chromecast so works for me. The picture quality is definitely where this projector beats my other, even some more expensive, projectors. If youre somebody that usually wears headphones or uses a sound bar while gaming or watching movies then the fan noise wont even be an issue.

I recently wanted to have a better projector for my personal use that supports 100 to 130 inches and I got this once very good for the price with great portability and product quality. The good thing about is pixel which is far better that other projectors in this category. I give 5 starts for this category. Brightness - With auto adjustments based on different modes I find this projector very good. I give 4.5 start rating and for LED as compared to DLP 4.5 start rating is really good. Sound Quality - For the portability for this size of the projector I give 4 stars and I recommend users to connect any bluetooth high quality speakers to make home theater effect. 5.1 channel audio system will be better for the quality of this kind of project since picture quality is very good. Look and Feel - I give 4.5 star rating for the compactness and weight of this projector. Easy to carry and equally good for personal and office use to project 100 plus inch size. 5 star rating for customer support. I personally feel that for 720p and the compactness with the required features, I will give overall 5 star rating as I am very happy with this projector. I am waiting for their 4K projector if they are working on it to replace my home theater. I like to encourage environment friendly innovations using LED technology. At the same time I dont want to spend 500 plus dollars for DLP Projector. I am a happy buyer.

I already have a 4K projector but I needed for casual movie night. Following are the reason I weny for it. 1) price. Its at great price mark, very affordable. 2) portabilty. Its really tiny and light weight. I can easy carry it around the house. Its little over the palm size. 3) HD : not full HD as the ad claims. Its 720p projector. It hate to see the term supports 1080p which looses the credibilty as all unbranded projector tends to lure buyers with the term. This projector has native 720p resolution and it does the decent job. The colors may not be as natural as an expensive one but its still great for the price mark. The brightness is good enough to watch even with some light on. Although use a dark room for better results. Picture quality not so different from1080p. If you are watching animatef movie, you’d hardly find a difference. 4) ports placement: the biggest reason for me to go for this projector was that power and HDMI, USB, AV ports are on the side which enables me to project on my ceiling without any additional arrangements. This is very important for me since not all room have light colors or enough free wall to project. Ceilings on the other hand are always white enabling to literally watch it anywhere in the house. Great projector, worth the money. Remote needs some work, documentation needs work for e.g no mention on how to adjust volume. Use a firetv/roku stick To add bluetooth amd wifi to this projector.

I mean really for $129 what much more can you ask for. It’s a native 720p HD projector. I don’t like how the box says “Full HD” and “3200Lumens” because that’s just a straight up lie. Build quality is plasticy and nothing special but again.. $130. Remote control works excellent Fan noise is a bit on the loud side compared to my Epson. Brightness is definitely lacking but somehow just “bright enough” Keystone settings are all completely manual with no indication of where “middle” is besides eyeballing it. The picture is never fully in focus.. but for Nintendo wii, DVDs and YouTube it’s fine. You will definitely need dark environment for this. I may end up just buying another little epson like I had before even tho it was only standard deft the picture was way brighter even in “economy” mode and the fan was much much quieter. My other concern is just the long term durability of the unit.. I feel like there will be a day when it just doesn’t turn on and it will go into the trash. If your budget allows I would spend more. But for the price it’s probably as good as the others and it is actually 720p not 480p. I say it fits the bill. Carrying case was a nice little add-on.

I am very pleased with this projector, it is exactly what I would expect for the price. I tested this with my USB drive, and I was able to access the files on it, and then using my laptop with a HDMI cable to watch movies. For the picture, it looks really good for a home projector. Projecting onto a white sheet from about 10 feet away, the picture is clear and easy to watch. It runs really cool, after a 2 hour movie it is barely warm. The fan is not too loud and I like that it is very lightweight! The speaker is much more than I expected, it is clear and has decent sound on its own, but a larger speaker setup is best for a movie with friends. The headphone output to my surround sound system works great with no distortions that I could tell.

The first impression of the product is really great. This came as well packaged and with great bag. The bag really help to carry the item anywhere. There is a surprise gift when i open the bag and it is tripod. The projector looks great and the quality of the product is good. The instruction manual is easy to follow and doesn’t take long to setup this device. I have connected the projector to my laptop using HDMI cable provided in the box. I played a full hd video and I am very much satisfied with quality of the picture and the projected size. The sound from the projector is not louder and definitely requires a soundbar. Thanks to Amazon for making this product avialble at competitive price.

Update! Customer support reached out to resolve my issue. ————————————— Very good, great for having a viewing party on my back deck. I believe I’ll be using it a lot this summer. The carrying case is very convenient, I have taken it on camping trips a few times. the picture quality is good, one the I come to know is that getting a projector screen is very important to improve the picture quality. I would recommend this projector!

NOT at all what I expected! Nice and quiet, pretty compact. Takes up virtually no space, but dang, very nice resolution!!! This is a very reasonably priced unit, but the quality is top-notch. My granddaughter has used it in her room, which has pinkish-purple walls. I have used it in my room and just hung a white sheet. The colors are true and crisp. And as for the sheet, youd never know. I hook it up to my Bose SoundLink and we are at the movies. Thought it would be just for the kids... nope! Great purchase and HIGHLY recommend! Have fun!

Got the projector for almost 2 weeks and got excited to have a backyard movie night to enjoy “Aquaman”, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the purchase. The build quality is great, and for this price range projector, it’s the best one. The display of colors is a very bright and great definition of the picture due to its high contrast ratio and great resolution and I was able to connect the projector to my phone, much better than my previous old $89.99 one. Besides, it came with a free carrying case. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a projector in terms of brightness, resolution, and price, possibly the best projector currently available on the market.
