This is hands down, the best projector you can get in this price range. Look no further. I bought this in 2016 and installed it in my mancave to watch movies and game on it and its amazing. Truly the envy of all my guests. Not only is the picture clear, crisp and gorgeous, but its bright enough that its still very visible and clear even in low lighting so the room doesnt have to be pitch dark to have a great picture. Short throw means that I have a 110" image on my screen with the projector ceiling mounted about 4-5 away. For gamers: Something to keep in mind is that the refresh rate is only 60hz so if you plan on gaming keep in mind you wont get a higher frame rate than that. Im not sure if there are projectors that display in 120hz or more but at the end of the day, the image size and quality cant be beat. Maybe play on a monitor if you want a higher refresh rate. Youre certainly not going to be playing FPS on this as the size is prohibitive to those types of games anyway. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you plan on having multiple devices hooked up, you are going to NEED an A/V Receiver. This only has two outputs. I figured that out afterward but honestly this kind of setup demands a good soundsystem anyway. The sound it puts out is pathetic, but thats not what youre buying this to do anyway. In the summers, I put this out on my deck and put UFC PPVs on a 144" screen. I feel like I should be charging the neighborhood for the free show theyre getting! Once its dark enough, this thing is bright enough to be seen clear as day. To sum up, this is the one you want. You could spend more or spend less but unless you really want (and can afford) a 4k projector, this is the perfect projector for you.

Very pleased with this projector for the price. Bright, clear picture. Using a ceiling mount to through to a screen that is about 10 feet away. Replaced an older viewsonic that was about 2200 ANSI Lumens.

For the price of around $500 this is one impressive projector. Its being used in a church installation and with all the main hall lights fully on we still get a fantastically bright and clear image. The only issue I found is that its not possible to reduce the image size to fit the screen (based on the previous projector position that we had installed) so well need to either move the projector nearer or get a bigger screen! Great value, recommended for a similar environment

First day in service for Model MW612. Good product, good value, good customer service. Quiet. Almost too bright in a darkened room, even on lowest lamp setting, at which the lamp presumably lasts longest. At normal lamp setting, plenty bright enough in daylit room. Were all quite pleased. Hope it lasts! Its physically larger than our last projector, a comparable Dell WXGA model, but its at least twice as bright, just as lightweight, and at least as quiet.

So far it is a winner! Easy to set up, easy to control. The image quality is amazing. I dont know why anyone would spend thousands of dollars on a tv when you can get a 100+ screen at this price. Sound is great through the projector but it also hooks up easily through the sound system. Have not mounted it on the ceiling yet but using it on a table top has worked great for getting to know the capability of the unit. Good image quality during daylight hours at reasonable distances. The bigger you set your screen the less light it would need in the room. Will update after more use

Great picture quality. Menu settings seem to be a bit limited and challenging figure out different settings as items seem to have their own naming convention. Users Manuel is very basic and does not explain all of the settings. But overall it is high quality and has great projection even in a brighter room!

This is a nicer, newer version of the BenQ short throw projector I rented recently. The throw is shorter too, although not quite as short as the ultra-short throw. Still, this is great for using in small spaces. Super bright too! I use it to project images for painting and it is fantastic quality for the price.

We replaced an Infocus projector with this one for our church and wow we are very pleased. If you’re wondering if this will work for a mid size sanctuary, it will. We have bright lighting and the screen is very easy to read. I didn’t know what I was doing but took a chance on it and everyone comments how much they like it.
