Bought this model and the Optoma ML750ST to compare. This Asus a great image and far better sound output. Asus has a much better menu navigation system, too. Very happy with this projector.

Works great! Must be used in very low light. I knew that when I bought it. Perfect for the camper... Amazon fire stick works flawless in this. Very happy with the purchase.

Great little machine. Two things: the brightness goes down when you unplug it; it has no wireless connections.

All around versatile and great product. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone requiring a portable projector with moderate (3 hour) battery life, and/or a smaller footprint projector with ultra short throw capability. Pros --- - Battery life survives a movie easily - Brightness exceeds every other battery powered LED projector available as far as I found in my research, although the footprint on this one is a bit larger than your typical PICO - Picture quality is fantastic, especially for a projector of this size - Allows simultaneous use of USB port for power and the HDMI slot, which means you can power a Chromecast and use it for streaming at the same time! Competitor products do not necessarily offer this feature - Remote is simple and easy to use, menus are easy to navigate through - Fairly flexible in terms of keystone settings, more degrees of adjustment offered than Sony MPCL1 - The LED bulb will last much longer than conventional bulbs. - Short throw is great. We use it to project onto our ceiling. Projector sits on the bed headboard, only ~6 feet away, and throws a massive picture (~100 in.?) Cons --- - Price: It is a bit more expensive than similar products (e.g. Sony MPCL1, which I returned and opted for this item instead), - It gets pretty hot while running, although it has never overheated, and most projectors generate a lot of heat - Fan is moderately noisy. Easy enough to tune out but the noise is there, audible from 2-3 feet away.

Just got this yesterday. I spent a few weeks researching looking for the right one. Something I can take camping for the kids. First thing out of the box, it was not charged and ready for use so it took about 1hr to charge which I thought was fast. It turned on instantly and plugged in my iPad. It automatically searches for inputs but noticed it sometimes didnt find them. When I projected it on the wall I instantly noticed that the quality is extremely good. You can see the pixels if you are really close but the quality is all that matters here. The vivid colors, brightness and contrast blew me away. Better than any pico projector. I will tell you that the quality is excellent. The inputs feel really sturdy after you hook them up to whatever you are connecting. Now for the cons. I realized there is no zooming on this so you have to have it where ever it meets the size you want. I recommend this for presentations camping and even home theater if you find a way to mount! Overall yes the money you pay for is the quality of the projection. If it were 1080p it would definitely be worth double the price. Cant wait to see the next version at 1080p I hope!

Before getting to the device itself, the company selling the device, Galactics passed the normal PERFECT service I get from Amazon. I usually try to buy things that are fulfilled by Amazon just to ensure (better my chances) of a well packed, working product. Galactics went over and beyond. Not only was the shipping fast, (ordered on Monday evening, had on Tuesday)...which I suspect because we are both in GA, but it was perfectly packed and I could tell it was handled with care. The device... well... it took me days to find the perfect projector. I had so many things I wanted it to do: 1) Battery powered 2) Computer based resolution, (at least 768 horizontal) 3) Short throw 4) Audio out 5) Multiple input 6) Bright enough What I got was something far greater. This unit is small and compact, comes with a nice carrying case. While the menu system leaves some to be desired, it is very functional and allows for some wonderful features. I had a spare wireless dongle hanging around, plugged it in, and found myself creating a connection to it in ways I had not anticipated. Home schooling our children, this now has become an electronic white board, at a fraction of the cost. I could connect PLEX to it using an old android tablet with NO adapter needed. I will be looking for an AirPlay adapter soon so I can throw my iPhone to it. The audio is actually far superior to what I expected. It will not power a backyard movie night, but it will fill a conference room. Speaking of backyard movie night... that was the main reason for getting this, (and so I could stop borrowing my friends projector). We camp a lot and go outside in our backyard for movie night. So far, setting up for movie night has been a royal pain, and the things needed to bring with us when camping was enough to have us think twice, (yes we camp... without technology, but sometimes, it is nice to watch a movie with the fam under the stars when the ghost stories have ended). This has simplified things wonderfully. With our Amazon Tap, we bring this, the Tap, one cable and the Epson screen, (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004OBYYWG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_67), we have everything we need that can be carried by one and setup in under a minute...yes... The battery life has not been fully tested. When camping, we usually bring a portable battery supply to charge things, we have adapters to charge this if needed. So far, we have been able to watch a full length movie, (roughly 2 hours) and play a few video games on the Xbox One and the battery meter showed half full. I suspect the lower half will drain faster, but it gave us about 135 minutes of display at full power before we turned it off, and it still had power. I will test it one night when we backyard camp so I will know what to expect when traveling with it. I like that it can be mounted.. Buy yourself a small mini-tripod, you will need it. They rate this at 800 lumens. I have not the equipment to test this, but I do work with several projectors both lower than and above this rating between work and church and home. This thing is by far the BRIGHTEST battery powered projector out there. I have had or used at least 7. It was one of my stipulations, had to be bright enough to not need to turn the lights off when using. In my conference room, all lights on, this thing is a jewel, everyone can see everything, and with the native resolution being so high, (for a portable projector), words were crisp. Only complaint, the menu system. It is not very user friendly. The manual is appropriate to get one started, but the full manual can be downloaded from the projector, or displayed on the projector if you desire. I am VERY pleased with this purchase, very pleased. It will get a lot of use.
