Great picture quality and the cordless part of using this projector is excellent. But, this projector is trying to do it all for everyone and fails. If you are wanting to use this for an art tracing device think long and hard before you spend this much money and talk yourself into using it on a daily basis. The remote control and units display windows used to adjust the machine do not function very well in an art environment. I tried to use mine on tables, and also with tripods, but to adjust the sizing, aspect ration, and keystone adjustment features were not that intuitive while using the remote. Plus, the buttons are so small that it was hard to not press other buttons by mistake After fighting with the unit every time I tried to use it, I got so frustrated with it I threw it away... Artograph: Please make us an art projector that is just designed to trace artwork with, and it does nothing else but that. This unit for me does not need to be used as an in-home movie theater projector. If I wanted a movie projector I would have bought one for that purpose.

I used an artograph in college back in 1984 when I went to art school. I bought this for students taking an illustration class from me. I tried I really did. I bought the tripod to go with it. The thing was all over the place, and it was hard to project it down onto a table because of the legs. I get this thing in place but the image I am trying to use says x not there. It is a jpeg. Took me hours and it was just not worth it. I could have hand drawn this in less time. The point of projection is to get the basic layout so you can spend precious time rendering. I cannot recommend and did not to my students
